They are selling products that are not legal to be sold and they are misleading consumers into purchasing "custom built" computers. The computers are all under 1 volume Windows license and ripe with used motherboards and lazy cable management. The moment you walk out of the store they can shut down your windows license so they can apply it to another machine and scam another person. Luckily, my license lasted for a few months before they did this to me. When I contacted Windows they advised me what this shop is doing. Avoid them, its not worth the headache. Also, just in case you were curious how they responded when I reached out to them regarding what had happened with my license below is the response I got FROM THEM. I will also be putting proof that it came from their email. Of at least six calls, I felt a level of comfort because I wasn't rushed or embarrassed by my limited knowledge. I decided to go to Mac Star and see for myself. Easy access. Plenty of parking. The team was receptive, smart as heck, and willing to meet my timeline. The cost was very fair and, in fact, less than Best Buy (the Geek Squad in-store) and those others I spoke with on the phone. Thought so too, but I indeed left with a brand new Mac Laptop for only $50 and my payments would start in about two weeks. The catch? There is no catch, really. They are pretty upfront about everything. Yes, you are paying high price than if you were to walk into any other store and pay cash upfront. They make it possible for someone that doesn't have $1,000 to drop on a new MacBook. My scenario was computer cost $1,200 normally in store it goes for about $1,000. Then you add tax so it got close to $1,400. You job is your credit, so for someone that doesn't have the best credit due to student loans they made it super easy. Now you apply through a company, that has really good reviews and you fill out the application in store or you can do it from the comfort of you home. Yeah you pay a higher price, but it's either that or wait to save up to buy a laptop. In my case I needed it as an emergency so I had to do it this way. Paying it off in 90 is true, I contacted the company myself and was told the same thing, you have until the last day to make the full payment and you will not incur interest.
