Took my laptop in to get a new hard drive and it needed to be ordered. The part is supposed to take 3 days to get in. And after weeks there no word from them and was wondering about it, so came in and was told that the part showed delivered, but it was not delivered. He said he would order a part for me Friday in the afternoon. Saturday afternoon I got a phone call saying the laptop was fixed. On top of the computer getting a new hard drive, I requested files to be transferred for a $35 fee. When I came in, that was not done. Took him about 20 minutes to transfer over the files while I waited. In the end, I asked him based on my experience does he think that I should be charged the full amount? He went back and forth for a minute and then said he would give me a little discount. The total bill was $180 before the discount and $179 after the discount. Even though they should have checked up on my laptop in the weeks that it was there, if they had everything ready when I came in to pick up the laptop, I wouldn't have said anything and just paid the bill. But combine that with the fact that it wasn't ready and I had to wait 20 minutes, I thought I might ask. The $1.00 off is what prompted the review. read more

Had my niece's laptop for nearly a month, despite their site claiming 'same or next day repairs'. I went there to get the dc charge port replaced and to get the slow/freezing issues fixed. Instead, they slapped in some cheap, aftermarket part or old random part that does NOT match the laptop's power supply, so the laptop still will not charge, and the laptop still freezes. My niece couldn't even do basic tasks like go on youtube or play roblox, which she did previously. They had the laptop for a week, so I called and simply asked for the status. I was then put on hold for 10 minutes and hung up on...so I drive up there only to find out that they haven't even worked on it yet. Got a random email from the lady that handles their PR THREE DAYS LATER from when I dropped the laptop back off for a 2nd time, apparently she didn't know that it was at the shop still. When they finally called and said it was 'ready', I picked it up the next day, only for me to find out that it STILL did not charge, and was STILL freezing. Brought it back AGAIN now for a 3rd time only for the guy to repeatedly say he doesn't know why it's so slow, and then telling me no refunds, as he nonchalantly handed me back the laptop I was told would be fixed for $150. The also 'fixed' the laptop despite claiming to not need the power cord, yet on my last day there, the guy I spoke to listed the power cord or battery as being the reason why the laptop still wouldn't charge. Well, how do they know if they didn't TEST this since they refused to use the power cable when they supposedly did a diagnostic? I leave a google review and chose to not recommend them on facebook, and they lied about what happened, further infuriating me since I paid all this money and this laptop has the exact same problems as it did when I first came there. The other negative google reviews matched my experience, that's when I unfortunately knew what I was dealing with, and that I wasn't getting my money back. The excuses the lady who works here tried to make from the lies about me, to blaming the covid crisis for being 'overwhelmed'(not true, little to no line and the guys there didn't seem to be working hard during the FOUR TIMES MINIMUM I've been there) are inexcusable. I paid a lot of money and showed tremendous restraint the entire time, but I wasn't given any respect, and I definitely didn't get the fixed laptop that I paid for. I work in a Chiropractic office, and the computer that runs our digital x-ray system crashed this morning. After going through all the troubleshooting, we took it to another unnamed tech squad, who said it would take 2 weeks. That just doesn't work for us, so they recommended Computer Guys. We took it over, explained the situation, and they said they would take a look and try to get it back to us today or tomorrow. Keep in mind, it was close to 3pm when we dropped it off. They called us by 5, and had our computer fixed and ready to pick up! Definitely will be using these guys again should the need arise!! read more

I went to Best Buy first since I purchased my laptop with them. It took them almost 45 minutes to tell me that they had no idea why my computer wasn't charging and they would have to ship it out. Since my computer was not under warranty, they said it would take 2 months for them to have it fixed (shipped to their warehouse/factory). They referred me to "Computer Guys." We had to call cops on this company. DO NOT USE THEM. This company refused to give a refund and refused to give back my daughters watch 2 days before Xmas. Nov 20th paid $80 for battery. Came in weeks later. Dropped of daughters iwatch. They called next day and said it was a "bad battery" and would have to order another. I asked for refund. They refused. When going to pick up watch they wouldn't give it back. Had to call cops and ended up having to pay another $25 to get wat back just as it was when we dropped it off. Can you give zero stars? Took an iPad Pro in to have the battery replaced, they broke the original screen. Called me and ask " did the guy that took this in tell you we might break it?" Hell no I would have never left it with you if you don't know how to not break something you are fixing. Tried to convince me that's "normal". Stood on the was never told. So they ate the cost ( so I thought) of replacing the screen. I get the iPad and the colors look very washed out, I ask did you use original replace t parts. Guy tells me yes, I call him on the lie so the " owner " came out with a cocky ass attitude explains he's the owner and he's not fixing that " he did me a favor by even replacing the screen". Ok buddy. Long story short, I'm not stuck with an iPad with washed out color a screen that is starting to come unglued and fall off and won't play more than 4 seconds of a video without pausing. Parts of the screen only work if I use my pencil. So in other words I'm paying for the cost of a bad decision and will have to buy a new iPad. you'd be better off just buying a new items instead of leaving it here. Don't be fooled by the 5 stars, those are business employees who will never see the cost to the company in the end by this place. They just know stuff breaks. read more

Hell no, never again! So I took my HP All in one is because I was missing the wire and needed to check why it wasn't turning on. They didn't have a wire in stock so they had to order one...no biggie right?! LOL well once the wire came in they said my LED was out and needed a new screen. I say go ahead and order it and replace it. They said it would be 3-4 days...yeah right. So not only did they not call me. I called them several times without an answer or return call to a voicemail left. I then spoke to someone that answered and proceeded to tell me my wire was sold to another customer....a wire I ordered and had to wait for was just gave away to someone that walked in. They told me they would get a wire from another store and call me back....no call back that day as promised. I finally get ahold MR SUNSHINE that tells me my computer is ready but it's no longer a touch screen...and said you didn't really use that feature, did you??!! Ugh yeah that's a major feature! Why on earth would I downgrade it to a non touch screen. I arrive at the store to tell them to change my screen back and also asked why I was being charged for a new wire if they're giving me a used one from another store. They lowered the price of the wire BUT then charge me the diagnostic fee without any regards to any of the shitty experience they caused! I have been without my computer for a month now and am in no better position than when I walked in their door a whole damn month ago! Do not waste your time and money at this place!!!!!!!! read more

We were told the computer would be fixed the same day, and on the 2nd day, when I questioned them, I was lied to again. And, because I did question them, they refused to fix the computer!
