Super nice guys. My laptop just died one day. Out of the blue. I went to Best Buy, and the guy there actually told me to go to AWT. They were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant. They let me use the bathroom when I thought I might die if they didn't lol. So A++ lol Also, they diagnosed my laptop, transferred all of my info over, and recycled my laptop for me. I guess a fried internal mother board with signs of water damage isn't really cheap to fix. (Kids are no longer allowed to use my laptop without supervision, and are not allowed to have drinks near it. Lid or not. It's a no. They funny thing is, I remember at one point my keys got sticky.... and I asked who spilled what on my laptop....?! And wouldn't you know it.... nobody knew lol. Yay kids! Thanks AWT. Do not go to this place I had my screen fixed and the screen messed up in about two weeks. Nothing happened to it, and they would not do anything to fix it. I also took my computer up there and one of the people working there ripped the case off and broke a couple of the clips to attach the case to my computer and they would not replace the case, but they changed their policy. read more

Brody came out to set up my new computer system as well as my Apple TV. He wasn't the first to attempt setting up my computer system (another company did a half-baked job), but for sure he is the last!!! Complete success! He went above and beyond, organizing various apps as well as creating shortcuts to the most frequently used apps. He aided me in obtaining new passwords where necessary, and was fast and efficient. The service was amazing, they fixed my Xbox controller which was not working, I had to play 25$ which is a awesome price!

Get ANY quote from these people in writing and signed by the manager. They do NOT honor their quotes and will surprise you with excessive costs when you return to pick it up. In my case, I was stuck with a $200 increase in price. The manager says, well, we didn't include "labor" in the quote. Well, genius, the quote is for the total cost of repair, not the parts! I do not recommend these crooks at all. Part II The owner called and tried to make things right. While I did not want to hear it, I have to give him credit. AWT did a fantastic job repairing my son's MacBook Pro cracked screen. I first went to BestBuy where they said it would have to be sent off for 2 weeks to get a certified Apple repair at a cost over $1,000. I got a recommendation to check out AWT. They quoted $550 to replace the entire lid and screen with genuine Apple parts. The part came in, but they found a defect. They ordered a replacement part and it came out great. They warranty their work for 1-yr. we were only without the laptop for 1 morning and 1 afternoon for both repairs. I found my new Apple repair place. It is much better than going to the Apple store to wait for hours since they are conveniently located on square. read more

Unknowledgeable about iPhones, employee said they could fix my water damage with a technique that is "hard to explain" I agreed assuming it would fix my phone. After the screen was on temporarily and shut off in front of employee. Would not give me a refund or fix my phone again. I went to another store and they fixed it for me and I have had no problems since. I would not recommend going here for anything iPhone related besides minor screen fixes but still there are more reasonably priced repair shops nearby. read more

I came upon another unexpected turn in the road Sunday evening when I found that sometime in the afternoon my computer's hard drive had crashed. In the spring I had signed up for a trial cloud backup program but then forgot to make it permanent. I checked NextDoor for suggestions and was led to a shop on the square, AWT (http://rockwalltxcomputerservices.com/) The friendly and helpful tech gave me several helpful options but warned me not to expect any data to be recoverable from a crashed hard drive without $1200+ forensics work. I swallowed hard and asked God for a miracle and agreed to a solid state hard drive replacement. So today I get a call saying my computer is ready and the data was all recoverable. In most cases they do same day service and they they don't just repair your phone, they also explain why it happened and give you helpful tipson how to avoid other issues in the future. Place is not worth it. Had a broken screen took it there to get fixed. After having the phone back after they fixed it (after 30min leaving) The proximity sensor was out. Took it back they fixed it but my Camera was out of line (front). They couldn't fix it. This was all there doing, keep that in mind. Would not recommend them at all. read more

this place is whack! i went up here and gave them my phone, they took it in the back and told me what I needed to replace which was a screen, a battery, and the home button. I said I don't care what y'all do or take out please just fix it I will pay whatever. So she told me my total which was $180, I paid and they said they would give me a call in about an hour. And our passes and they call me asking for a password because they just started it and they needed to test it, i said i didn't know my password, I haven't used the phone in two months because I needed to get order to fix it. And hour and a half passes and I HAVE TO CALL THEM to see if MY PHONE WAS FINISHED. they said yes it HAS been done. i get my phone and I figure out the password and everything was good, then my phone restarts every 15 minutes, my camera shaky to the point where I can't even take pictures right, the home button is so fucked up that it turns on Siri, locks me out of my phone, takes me out of apps, and freaks out while I'm at work. i call up there and they tell me I have a warranty so anything I needed would be fixed and it would be free. So after work I go up there and what has been happening and that I needed it fixed. The man was explaining to me why my home button was acting up (which i understood) then he was trying to tell me that it was acting up that I would need a new camera (which I already knew, that's why i was up there) HE charging me for a new camera, and I told him that one of his employees had told me whatever I needed to be fixed would be free since I already paid $180. The man said "what? You want a free camera!" (sarcasm) this man was really trying me.. i said, you know what forget it and I grabbed my phone and left throwing a fit. few minutes pass and he calls me telling me that if I wanted to go back up there they could put all my old stuff back in it and they would give me my money to go buy a new phone.. i was furious, so I hung up. I went up there to get my phone fixed if I wanted to buy a new phone I would've use my money to go buy a new phone. so I wasted my money (and time) on people who were supposed to fix my phone (bc i payed 180$) and said i had warranty to a free fix. 180$ i worked hard for down the drain and still have a messed up phone like before. Never in my life have I experienced greater customer service. Travis, the Manager, is so friendly and is the most knowledgeable person about technology, and repairs for me and my family and friends repairs and questions we have. He always welcomes his guests like they're family and he's always smiling and is willing to help anyone and everyone. AWT is by far the best place to get any technology repairs if you're in a bind or need reassurance that your phone will be fixed. I took my daughter's droid to have the screen fixed and received great service . I took them my lap top and they had it for 7 weeks with no results other than reading the tech notes,[whom was never there} they finally left me on hold for thirty minutes on my last call [ while I drove to their establishment ] and found they had forgotten me. I then demanded my lap top back and found it to be damaged . They told me that they had put a new fan motor in it and was still not working correctly. Upon Taking my lap top to another shop, I found I had been lied to. I did find a good pc shop in the end and will never do business with these people ever again read more
