DO NOT BUY A CAR BATTERY! Purchased an AGM for my wife's car 11 months ago and today it wouldn't start. Tested with a professional tester: 10.5 volts unloaded, 6.5 volts under a load. Removed it and took it to the store and they would not exchange it without charging and testing it. Wanted me to leave it and come back several hours later as that is their policy. Never mind I have a car that will not move blocking my garage due to their $200 defective battery. Awful customer service and attitude's from the store employees. I took their battery and used it as a core to buy a new one from a reputable company. I will never do business with this company again. Go anywhere but Batteries Plus to get a battery. Best $200 I ever spent to learn not to do business with them. read more

Good store. Both times I've needed a new battery for my Gogo they had a top notch battery on hand and they installed it pronto. Both times I only had to wait on car. First time was pre-COVID era, before we were used to curbside service. This time curbside service is listed outside. They were also quite helpful with a car battery. read more

Horrible customer service, I bought Duracell batteries for my Apple AirTags. These batteries did not work because they have a rubber ring bigger than a standard 2032 battery. I was not in there for cash back, I simply wanted credit towards another brand 2032 battery. I was told because I opened the package I could get credit back. The gentleman who sold me the batteries said he would sell me new batteries but my problem was with Duracell and not him. He is a distributor for Duracell whom I'm sure would credit him back. I've spent $100s of dollars on everything from car batteries and cordless batteries and they are worried about giving me credit on a $10 package of batteries. This $10 package will cost them $100s in the future. I support small and local for customer service and this business doesn't give it, may as well have ordered online and had delivered to my door step. I know they would refund and prob wont even ask for product back. Receipt was offered the day before but I said I didn't need because I didn't expect to return. Your employee remembered me and recognized the purchase made day before. Are you saying if I produce proof of purchase, I can get a refund? I can show credit card charge read more

I used the Batteries+ website after business hours to set an appointment for 10 AM the next morning to have the battery on my iPad mini 4 cellular (A1550) replaced. Even though the store opened at 8 AM, they did not call me until 9:45 to tell me that battery was actually not in stock and would have to be ordered and would not be in for six days. We live 30 miles away from the store. My husband had already arrived in the parking a few minutes before I called him to tell him to come back. Even someone that lived nearby, most likely, would have already left home to make the appointment on time. The store does not take their first appointment until 9 each day. That hour between 8 and 9 should be used to review their appointments and make sure they have everything needed. i should have received that call before 9, not at 9:45. But most importantly, their system should not book an appointment for a part that is out of stock. read more

This is a terrible company. I bought a battery just a week ago. The battery was bad and left me stranded on the road. I had to have my motorcycle towed to the dealership where they tested and told me I have a bad battery. The motorcycle store replaced the battery. I tried to return the defective battery. They said they are not taking it back. They do not stand behind their products. They also don't care about customer service. The battery has a tester on it. It shows it's not producing the voltage required. They still don't care. Terrible company. Please don't buy anything from them. read more

Store smells bad, its messy and the owner or manager what ever he is was very unprofessional. I observed as he treated customers as they were scum! Great store. I have been here several times for batteries and now one fluorescent light bulb. The staff always asks me what I need help with when I walk in. I show them the battery or light bulb I need and they walk right over to it. They know right where to find what you need. This makes the visit quick. I would have given them five stars but they would not take a bag of batteries (probably about 50 AA, AAA, C and D sizes) to recycle for free. They wanted to charge me and then give me a battery bucks credit of some sort. It was something I didn't really understand and it just complicated the process of recycling batteries. read more

I have purchased batteries online free shipping with no core charge and no environmental fees. My neighbor asked me to help him find a battery for his motorcycle. I checked online and batteries plus had one at a somewhat reasonable price after 10% discount of $45 plus $10 core fee. I paid online for him a total of $59 after tax. He came in the store to pick it up and turn in the core, but they would only give him $7 back for the core. They added a $3 B.S. enviro fee. If you order one from an online store, no core charge, no enviro fee, free shipping. If you have the time, use online. Paid more for convenience in the first place, but they had to steal some more. Do not jack with these up chargers. read more

I had my phone screen replaced here. 3 days later I gently placed my phone on a table and when I picked it back up and the screen was cracked. I feel like i was given a defective screen so I called to see if there was anything they could do. In short, No- and No they would not replace the defective screen. So thanks for nothing Batteries and Bulbs- You sold me an inferior product. What a waste of 100$. read more

I've recently had 2 batteries replaced in 2 vehicles. One was a PU which I brought in twice to have the battery checked and they were very helpful with no pressure to buy. I decided 2 days later to exchange the battery ( not trusting the one I had , with winter coming ) and they replaced it right in front of the store. Turns out it really was bad. Went in this store for a bulb replacement for a Stinger flashlight and they didn't have the right bulb in stock so I bought a replacement and ordered the right bulb. I was told by the owner it would take 2-3 weeks to get the bulb in so when I didn't hear from them in 3 weeks, I called the store and was told it was in shipment and should be there in a couple weeks so I waited 3 weeks and went into the store and Kevin Staples the owner told me it was in shipment so I told him that's what I was told 3 weeks prior so he told me "he had said it would take 4 weeks to get it" so I told him I wanted a refund cause I could get the same bulb from Amazon in 2 days and he told me "that there was NO refund on SPECIAL orders", but I said if you cant get it I wanted a refund and his receipt didn't say anything about NO REFUNDS and it was NOT a SPECIAL ORDER and it was 3 weeks past promised date. When I pointed to my receipt he grabbed it out of my hand a wadded the receipt up like a little child and told me to "get out of his store or he would call the sheriff" so I walked outside and called the police and while I was standing outside he sent his employee out to tell me he would give me a refund so I went back in and got a refund, once I got my refund I called the police back and told them I didn't need them that he gave me a refund, he then told me to "tell them to come anyway that he wanted me out of his store" but I left and WILL NEVER BE BACK IN THAT STORE AND WILL TELL EVERYONE ELSE TO WATCHOUT FOR THIS STORE !!!!! read more
