Repeating my review from Trust Pilot as I think this company deserves it. First-time buyer from Compusource, I read reviews on multiple sites before purchasing from them. The issues that were stated didn't concern me too much based on the cost savings I would receive ($600) and they seemed like random circumstances, spread years apart. The responses from Compusource over the issues also seemed legit. I ended up buying an EPSON STC8000 printer, it was not in stock at places like Best Buy or Amazon, and if it was, it was far more than MSRP. The printer was delivered perfectly, no issues, came exactly as stated and much quicker than I expected, especially after reading other's reviews. I would buy from them again. read more

I ordered an Intel CPU processor $360. I received it fine, but by the time it came, I had bent the pins on the Motherboard. So I can no longer use the Processor. It was still in the packaging and never opened. I requested and received an RMA number and sent the CPU back using exactly address with the RMA number on the label. It was exact because I copied and pasted it to print.the label. I never received the refund. They claim that the item was never checked in. What does that mean? Is it just sitting there in a pile with many other RMA returns? I'm sure they got it, or it would have come back to me. So I am out $360 + $23 shipping. I recommend you find a more trust worthy company to do business with. read more

I've only ordered from CompSource once, but I ordered a monitor on Monday and had it by Friday -- free shipping and it had to cross most of the country to get to me. It was way cheaper than the next cheapest online shop. The only thing I disliked was that it was shipped with no signature required, so the package was left outside (in my building's gated parking, though visible from the city street) and it wasn't a plain brown box, it was a box with a giant picture of a monitor on the side...but package thefts are high in my neighborhood, so maybe that's on me, maybe I should have paid for different shipping (I will say it was Fedex, so I was able to sign up for package notifications and run outside as soon as the e-mail came in saying it was here). All-in-all, an incredible deal with quick shipping! Other thoughts: I was hesitant after seeing some bad reviews online of people saying their product never came, but they offer both Amazon payments or Paypal, so I knew I'd be protected by using the Amazon payment method (they have a very customer friendly guarantee...but it didn't become necessary, as they shipped it right away and it was exactly as advertised). I bought Xerox prints from compsource. After payment, I received an email requesting an additional shipping charge of $ 89, which was never mentioned in the contract. I immediately sent a protest mail. The next day, a refund mail came from PayPal. I did not receive any clarification mail to the seller. This seller does not keep an appointment with the buyer. I was a bit worried because I had read a few bad online reviews about Compsource. I ordered a refurbished HP laptop on May 30. It cost $160 less than a brand new one on Amazon. On June 1, I called customer service because I had not received a shipping notification. Fortunately, the laptop was shipped the day that I called Compsource. I also received a shipping notification the same day that I called customer service. I'm happy to report that the laptop arrived in good condition the very next day on June 2. I ordered a graphics card on their website on May 10th, which said that the item was in stock. I later received an email saying it is out of stock, despite what their website said. I foolishly agreed to wait until they get it back in stock. One month later i contacted them. Apparently i spoke with Rich, who is the same guy that emailed me. He seemed confused when he looked up my order number, said he will contact the warehouse to see whats going on. Then when he got back to me, he simply told me that I never replied to his e-mail, which is a flat lie, seeing as i have saved copy of both his and my emails, he also replied to my email, which he supposedly never received. Irregardless, instead of apologizing, he tried to place blame on me, a customer, as if their negligence is my fault. This incompetent and rude Rich, whatever his position is, then went on to tell me that their source discontinued the item, which again is probably BS. Price is just higher than what i paid for a month ago, since demand is now up. I wasted a month waiting, and got nothing, not even an apology. Unbelievable. Not only was it an inconvenience and a huge waste of time, i now lost money due to their negligence. I would give 0 stars if I could. This company is a complete joke. read more

They had an excellent price on a 65 inch flat screen. I called and spoke to an actual human being (thank you Dean). Been waiting for my refund before posting this review. Got my item ordered only to get a backordered email about a week after the purchase. Mildly irritating but that happens, however, CompSource wasted no time taking my money a day or two after the purchase...3-4 weeks before the item shipped. In my online shopping history, companies generally wait until the item is or has shipped before taking your money. Then, when the fire pit arrive, it was in was in 7 pieces but only should have been in 5...that's right a broken item and I don't think it was done by FedEx. After submitting my RMA request, I had to contact CompSource multiple times including getting a supervisor involved before getting the item shipped back. My multiple contacts included arguing with an employee about how to ship the item back, the supervisor kissing my butt only to go on vacation for 2 weeks before getting back to me and then FedEx just showing up one day without so much as an email from CompSource. And of course I had to reach out to find out if/when I'd be getting my refund. In my humble opinion, do yourself a favor and don't buy anything from this company. I am so disappointed. I bought a laptop that will not even boot up. It is supposed to be brand new, and it is so defective that I can't use it. I tried to exchange it for another one, but my request was denied. Now I have a laptop that doesn't work and no money to buy another one. I feel like I got scammed and they knowingly sent me a lemon. They handled the issue with the laptop although it took almost a month to get resolved. They explained that defective item shipped from HP, not their warehouse is not valid for return back to them but I had to contact HP. They contacted to HP and handled the issue to validate to get RMA back to their warehouse. Long frustrating journey but took care of the refund at the end. Thanks. read more

Unfortunately, I had to give one star in order to post this warning. I ordered a printer that was to be drop shipped in 7 to 21 days, which is posted clearly AFTER THE ORDER. My full payment posted that day. I contacted after 11 days for shipping status because the tracking system at their website was dysfunctional. This couldn't be a good sign. A company that sells tech and their website doesn't work. After waiting two days, I was told the estimated ship date was 44 days after the payment posted. I didn't cancel the order because the order specified that once the special order was placed, it could not be cancelled, and I needed the product for a business gift. That period lapsed and I contacted them again. They blamed the manufacturer and said they would refund my money after holding it over six weeks. It is not the manufacturer's fault that it takes CompSource over 6 weeks to adequately trace an order for their customer. It is not the manufacturer's fault that CompSource posts items for sale they cannot deliver in a reasonable amount of time or honestly account for it. Think about it. If they did this to 1000 customers a day, held the money for six weeks, then blamed the manufacturer and refunded the money, they could make a fortune off cunsumer funds. They don't even have to contact the manufacturer with the order. Just say they did. After reading several of their reviews on Google, I'm interested in seeing how they try to excuse this unacceptable business practice. They rarely take ownership of their failures. I see others that had the same issue with other products. I highly recommend avoiding this company. The price may be good, but they cannot deliver all the products they advertise and their customer service is horrible. read more

I was concerned with bad reviews that I noticed after placing order. All I can do is relate my experience. Ordered on Monday morning and received my item on Tuesday afternoon. I did not pay for express processing option and ordered with ground shipping method. It helped that the vendor (Playseat) ended up shipping quickly from a state next to mine and FedEx got it here so fast. I used CompSource.com to order a gaming chair and I utilized Amazon payments. The process was extremely typical (simple) and payment went through without any issues. Within a few hours I received an email from Amazon saying the item had been shipped. A few days later and the chair was on my doorstep. My order on CompSource.com's website is still showing as "Processing" at this time (8 days after ordering) and I never received a tracking # but the item did arrive, was in perfect condition, and I am very happy with the overall process. Overall experience has not been great, sorry to say. I purchased a Haier 3.5cu ft Chest Freezer(model # HFC3501ACW) from CompSource. First unit arrived pretty badly banged-up. Upon requesting a replacement, the second unit also arrived w. A bad ding right on the edge of top cover. Third time product was not in stock anymore and CompSourse did not provide any fair solution , not even as little as $10 compensation. No matter what point of the transaction the product was damaged, I feel that CompSource can take a bit more responsibility and compensate for the customer's troubles/frustration. Price was good & product is ok so far. I had no choice but to keep the damaged product after being w/o a fridge for a couple of weekes. Customer Service and Claim departments were very helpful at their best abilities. Product handling and/or shipping service is terrible. CompSource's discount/compensation policy in terms of damaged product could be better. Also, the company's product review and testimonials section was not accepting submissions, so I had to come here and help out the community make an educated decision when purchasing from the company. read more
