I came in maybe 30-40 minutes before closing (never do that) with my iPhone 8 that simply would not turn on anymore, I identified a few problems and took it over to King wireless. When I walked in first thing I saw was Mo going to work fixing a phone, he quickly greeted me and asked what he could help with. After a few moments of explaining my dilemma, Jordan came out from the back and quickly heard my problem and sprung into action to fix my iPhone. Truly one of the best phone stores I've been to. My husband, who is black and (I am a white woman) went and dropped off my phone early this morning for a cracked screen. Tonight we went to pick it up and he was told my phone was sent to the Stow store to be fixed because they could not fix it. The reason he went in to pick get it, was because I broke my foot today and he did not want me walking on it and he was the one that dropped it off. He proceeded to come out to the truck and get me and when I, "the white woman" walked back into the store, all of sudden my phone was there and fixed, within 2 seconds. They literally lied to my husband about the phone. No apology, no explanation, no nothing. This is why a lot of unnecessary racism crimes happen. My husband was very highly frustrated and upset, felt disgraces, discriminated, everything!!! He did not want me walking on my injured foot and then got lied to for no reason! Something should be done about this employee. The other employee, we believe John G, helped us and gave us the phone without issue. You could tell he was embarrassed about what happened... but still no apology or anything. Just said, I'll talk to him. Something more needed done to stop this type of discrimination!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
