I've spent a couple months trying to find a part for my HP Pavilion Laptop and not only did they find and order it within minutes, the install was seamless and took no time at all. Their pricing is very affordable while they seem to truly care about those that walk through their doors. Paul & Marie are more than knowledgeable while accommodating, professional and beyond pleasant and approachable people that are extremely relatable. (They aren't tech-nerds. I along with few of my friends are with them past 8yrs and they have always helped us with the issues. Recently someone from FB almost spoiled my 1.3k laptop while replacing hinges, Paul at Gearbox helped repair my laptop. I will never trust anyone henceforth outside Gearbox. I rarely write reviews but the experience I had at this location was amazing. I went in with a very slow computer. they were extremely knowledgeable, As well as changing out my old hard drive for a new ssd hard drive they gave me a bunch of free advice on how to help my computer run faster, and my computer is running better than it ever has before. Gear Box was recommended by a friend whose mother had her computer fixed there. My daughter's dog knocked her computer on the ground and killed the hard drive. The people at GearBox were awesome, quick and VERY reasonable...have since taken my cell phone there to have the charger port fixed and got a new computer cord after the dog ate that, too! Gear Box is a lifesaver! My father had malware installed on his computer and I am not in town, so I started on Sunday reading reviews of all computer repair shops near my dad's apartment. This came up and on Monday I called. I talked to Maria and told her the story of my dad and the scam that occurred to him. She said they were going on vacation the next day but would get the computer in and back to my dad that day. (part of me wanted him to wait since him being on a computer may be more damage than not). I sent my dad there and knew that he was in good hands. 3 hours later the computer was repaired and back to my dad. I appreciate all they did and how they turned it around so fast. Brought my acer laptop in to get it repaired with them. I had a system scan program popping up and blocking my internet and it was running sooooo slow. A very nice young man took great care of it and even gave me a free virus protection. The service was quick (less than 2 days) and very reasonable price ($60). My laptop now turns on at least 10 times faster and let's me on the internet without popups. They also have a nice clean store compared to another place I used to bring my computers for repair.
