Target now sells Krispy Kreme donuts! This Target is currently undergoing a renovation (May 2025). There are multiple challenges inside and outside. Few aisles inside are obstructed (by the cleaning supplies) and are being improved. The bathrooms inside are not fully functional. Family restrooms inside are open. There are several portable toilets outside. Starbucks is mostly out of order - no ice, and no food. Several areas of the store are covered in tarp. Just be aware of not the full Target experience as you're used to it. The store is still pretty well stocked. There are a lot of new fashions for women - cute summer dresses and pants. Swimsuits and beach attire is already out. You can also find a new Pride line. I was surprised to find last year's fashions in store. There was a dress on a rack that I bought last year, and a few other pieces. I was very happy with all the clothing sales. I purchased a very vibrant "Brasil" summer shirt for $7.50! If you're looking for summer tees, check this Target. I also purchased "Papaya" sweater for $28, and a few household necessities. Also of note, Target now carries Krispy Kreme donuts in boxes! I didn't know that's an option but it apparently is. Even in the late afternoon there were a lot of donuts left! Service at the store is pretty attentive. I was able to get quick help when I couldn't find contact lens solution. All the employees I encountered were very pleasant. Overall, if you can overlook the construction, it's not a bad shopping experience. There's large inventory here and better than average customer service. read more

It was a Sunday, we needed a few things and we stopped in to Target. We easily found what we were looking for. It's a good thing that we weren't there to buy alcohol because, as the sign says, you can't purchase it on Sunday. This was a surprise to me, I'm from out of town. I guess this could be a problem if you wanted to serve mimosas at brunch. Plan ahead next time. Since I'm a Target Circle member, a nice employee told me it's Target Circle Week and gave me some popcorn. Clean store, well stocked, friendly people. read more

Cleanest target I have ever seen. Very spacious and filled with items to buy. Not crowded at all. No lines and no wait.

I'm glad I was just going to this Target for 2-days worth of body soap and a few bags of chips... because there was nothing much else in stock. Not being from the Cleveland area, I again - only came for about 3 fairly easy to satisfy items... but of course, being the Target lover that I am, I browsed other aisles. And if I needed specific makeup or some 'Pattern' conditioner I would've been out of luck. 3 stars for... essentially, the job was done. And that's it. Bare minimum. read more

This Target is nice for buying clothes, food, and most pet needs. It's also pretty clean, has convenient social distancing stickers on the floor by the checkout counters, has a Starbucks, has a large parking lot, and the employees at the checkout are usually very nice. I am giving a three, however, because none of the employees I saw working last night were wearing their masks correctly. With numbers on the rise and cold weather, you would think businesses would get more serious about this. I will be avoiding this Target for a while now. Additionally, sometimes I get pet supply things here that are cheaper or more generic than at petco. For the heck of it, I was looking at toys and saw that this Target has rubber kong toys that are fillable with kong treats, but there were no treats and no place the treats normally go either that I noticed, although, this isle was pretty disorganized so it may have been there afterall. Nevertheless, it seems counterintuitive to have only one part of a 2 piece pack. read more

The home goods section could have more options and because of this, I typically get things using the curbside app. So far so good. I use it often with tons of items when I don't feel like going inside or I'm limited in time. All but once has someone been rude. Mostly friendly employees. I would definitely still recommend using them. They're quick once you get there and it typically doesn't take long for your orders to be ready once you make it. read more

While staying at the Cleveland Marriott Downtown - I realized I had left my 10 watt iPad charger at home and my iPad was running very low on charge. So after consulting Yelp, I found a Best Buy not to far away - in Steelyard Commons - a retail complex about 10 minutes away. So I grabbed my rental car and headed over. To my dismay, when I arrived, I find that the Best Buy is no more. The building is there, but the sign has been taken down and looks like it went out of business. BUT - I spy a Target across the way - and I took a gamble that they'd have what I need. Lo and behold, they did carry Apple's brand of iPad charger. So I picked one up and was a happy camper! read more

At first glance, this Target looks really cool! Located in the Steelyard Commons, it has a unique architectural design and lots of spanning windows and doors in the front. However, I was quickly disappointed upon entering the store. When you walk in, you see lots of bins filled with random odds and ends. It's such a mess and so unappealing that I wouldn't be surprised if some people just turn around and leave. Some areas are organized, but the majority of the store seems to have no order whatsoever. There is a nice Starbucks inside the store with a large seating area and windows, which would be a cool spot to hang out or take a break from shopping if the customer service wasn't so horrible there. The filthy bathroom at this Target is what really put me over the edge. Every single stall was trashed. Overflowing toilets, paper and garbage everywhere, flies buzzing around, just completely disgusting! I promptly left after encountering the bathroom situation. Not one of the better Targets I've been to. I wouldn't recommend it if you are turned off by messy and disorganized stores. To be honest though, the entire Steelyard Commons Plaza and all of its stores seem to be declining in quality. read more

Any single time I come to this Target....they never have enough people working the register. Well, lesson learned and never again. Writing this one fresh as I just left about 20 minutes ago. I'll try to condense as best I can. Ok, we all know and all love the Target "buy 4 get a $5 Target card" deals and the text CLEAN to 781555 and get $10 off $40 for buying crap you really don't need. So....its middle of the day and I take a lunch break and run to Steelyard Target. I know what I'm coming for and know what coupons I have and how much I need to spend to get my $5 Target GC. I have multiple items that should net me $20 I Target cards as well as $10 off my certain items via text coupon. First issue is they have ONE register going and there was already three people in line. Kid is younger and seemed new. He rings everything and its not giving me credit for certain things. He keeps trying....its not working. Now, there are three people behind me. He goes to get the younger manager and she comes over annoyed she was pulled away from her conversation with another employee. This "manager" does NOTHING to help this kid behind the register. Tells him to just void everything and re-ring everything. Solving nothing and now there are about NINE people in line behind me all wanting to see me suffer some type of tragedy as I'm holding everyone up. Of course, after the manager gives her pearl of wisdom to the kid and walks away. The kid behind register then takes everything off and re-scans everything and then does the coupons again. Same issue and no $5 Target GC. The kid behind register kept apologizing and was visibly shaken. I kept telling him its not his fault and never once got angry with him. At this point where he just didn't know what to do and who to ask.....I told him to forget it and I would go to another Target. So I just picked up my wallet and left everything bagged and sitting at the register while the line was more than ten people deep. The manager never bothered to open another register or come back to help him. She just kept chatting and laughing with her co-worker. I made a point to let him know it wasn't his fault.....and that it was his managers fault who left him hi and dry and did nothing to help him. I would never leave one of my employees to twist in the wind like that and not offer any type of management help, feedback or take on the task myself. So what did that kid learn today besides he cant go to his manager for help? I simply learned to stop going to Steelyard Target from now on. read more

It's target and it's in the steelhead so it's close to Tremont and downtown Cleveland. It's a target so you have your usual target stuff, and they have a grocery section but it is lacking selection and a lot of the stuff like their garlic and tomatoes seems like it has been there for a while. For anything non perishable it's an ok place, but the cashier's always seem busy so it's much easier to just do the auto check out. read more

In my experience, there are Target people, and there are Kohl's people. Not that I have any beef with Kohl's, but its carpeted, musak-y quietness freaks me out a bit and reminds me of those places with like ten thousand pairs of discount shoes. But to the point. Target makes me feel kind of ok with life when I walk inside (unlike Wal-Mart). Plus, they have food (unlike Kohl's or Marshall's). No produce, but I can get a loaf of bread, sauces, cereal, or dairy products without a problem. And those are the things I run out of most anyway. I usually go into Target with blinders on, because otherwise I I'll spend way too much time in the Home furnishings or kitchen appliance sections. A good tactic if you don't want to buy too much is to not grab a cart on your way in. When you are about to drop all your crap on the floor, it's time to stop shopping!! I enjoy Target. It's a bit pricier than Wal*Mart, but you get what you pay for. This Target is fairly well maintained, but also doesn't stand out above most other Target stores. I like Target's branded items, especially their food options. They offer good quality, cheaper alternatives to national brand merchandise. read more

Update: I'm digging the customer service, there is one little cutie who wears a head wrap who ALWAYS smiles and speaks to me. This is a great Target, and shockingly so, being that it's in Steelyard Commons! A breath of fresh air compared to any other options in this shopping plaza (cough, avoid Walmart like the PLAGUE!!) It's clean, they always have multiple lines open, and the employees are very friendly. Unlike other stores, the merchandise is where it's supposed to be, and if you need help finding something ... there are actually people around to help you. Shocking! I never have been a big fan of this store location but I recently moved into the area and it is so much closer than any other store. The manager (named below) was trying to help but corporate refused to take the return. I purchased a grill here for pick up. When my husband arrived to pick it up someone came out to help him put it in the car. Unfortunately the box did not fit in my husbands car, so he went right back in to return since we do not have a way of getting it home. This was about 45 minutes ago and he is still there trying to return it and they will not let him. We have the original order email, the pick up is ready email, AND THE RECEIPT EMAIL that says SCAN THIS FOR IN STORE RETURNS and they are refusing to return it! Apparently they are reporting they have a 48 hour period before you can return things even though their return policy does not state this. Now, I have purchased almost weekly from target for years and returned many things due to them not being what I needed, the correct size, etc. I have never had an issue returning anything even if I purchased it the same day, until now. Sese was the manager who was trying to get the return but corporate was refusing to give her the number that was left off our receipt and refusing to allow her to speak with a higher up there to get the return done. Apparently, this is a Target issue and not a store issue but it is still ridiculous. Needless to say I will not be shopping at Target much anymore and definitely not for anything that has any slight chance of being returned. read more

I visited this Target Steelyard location on 1/23/21. I was pleasantly greeted at the door by a young man who appeared to be handling the carts. Excellent customer service on his part! I did not get his name but he had locs as a hairstyle, and I visited around noon. He deserves commendation, keep it up! read more

Do not order online pickup here. They totally forgot an item and I had to go back. They didn't even apologize for their mess up and was very unprofessional about it. The main reason I even did store pickup is because having orders mailed to me the same thing happened. Just as Wal-Mart has the "butt" of all Wal-Marts, so does Target. And the one at Steelyard is that location/butt for sure. Clothes are always tossed on the floor, don't dare have to use the restroom and the staff in their cheery red shirts have a case if the Mondays everyday of the week. I think that this target is well organized and it always has everything I need! The workers are pleasant and they are always very hard working. The clothes are usually on the right hanger and in the right places. It's overall a very clean place that I enjoy going to, to shop till I drop. They also have a wide selection of everything from toothpaste to dog food which I love. read more

Targets usually get the best of me, because I run in for one thing and walk out spending way too much money. I love their home decor section it has to be my favorite along with the large cosmetic section. You can usually find what you need. I love Target and probably frequent at least 1-2 times per week. However yesterday I was at the Steelyard Commons Target and was appalled by the conditions of the bathrooms. I've noticed a trend in all Targets that bathroom maintenance is not a priority, but the bathrooms were so unkept at Steelyard yesterday that I almost walked out! The one star is a reflection of the constant disgust I feel when I enter the bathrooms at Steelyard Commons Target. read more

I love the Steelyard Target. It's always neat and clean, and rarely does not have what I am looking for. From the friendly staff who I have come to know, to the security guard who has helped me carry large packages out to my car. Love this store and the friendly staff who work here. I really wanted to specifically give 5 stars to the Pharmacy. The pharmacist Jessica and tech Melanie are both excellent and give personal attention, that harkens back to the old school. They are always friendly, but more so have looked out to ensure my prescriptions are the most cost effective for my budget, that are available. In a recent example I came in on Monday for an ear infection. Even with my insurance, the ear drops prescribed by my Doctor were going to cost me 140$. Jessica took the time to make some calls, speak with my Doctor's office, and find me a more affordable alternative. She spent a lot of time making several phone calls about this, ll the while call me with updates. In the end the ear drops cost me 15$. A much more reasonable amount for my budget. I really appreciated what she did for me. And Melanie is always helpful.. and she got me excited about the pharmacy rewards program. This is the best pharmacy in town. read more
