I usually visit Dillard's once a year for holiday dresses first checking the inventory online. This time I had an unplanned Dillard's visit while used it as a shortcut to the mall. MERCHANDISE: The store has a vast inventory. The men's clothing and shoe section is especially stylish. There are a lot of brown toned garments and shoes perfect for fall. The shoe section indicated deals from $99 to $139. That seems like a great value for high-quality shoes. MY FINDS: I didn't plan to make any purchases since I was just passing through the store. Instead I found Origins skincare line. It's currently hard to find it in stores due to major beauty retailers pulling it from their shelves. I was able to purchase a gift set. It's my preferred skincare, so I'm happy to find another retailer that carries it for future purchase. SERVICE: The service was very nice. Associates were friendly and smiling. This experience indicated that the service tremendously improved over the years. I look forward to my next visits to Dillard's. I'll be back soon to experience and purchase more Origins products.

They are from the brand 'Wander Beauty'. I tried one of the pairs this morning (1 May) and after keeping them on for about 16 mins, my under-eyes felt very hydrated and fresh. They also sell men's products too. This review is mostly for JCPenney Beauty which is located inside the JCPenney store where I had a wonderful experience browsing and learning about this new beauty venture at JCPenney. Sephora used to be located at JCPenney but that partnership ended and JCPenney decided to create their own beauty brand. Sarah, the JCBPenney Beauty Sales Associate was really pleasant and exceptionally helpful. She answered my friend and I's questions. BEAUTY BRANDS -- There are so many brands to choose from with a majority being from JCPenney Beauty and Thirteen Lune. Thirteen Lune is a female black-owned company that sells beauty products from small black-owned businesses. There are also many other brands from minority business owners such as Jason Wu (Asian). I recommend JCPenney Beauty because they carry plenty of products for black people which is sometimes hard to find in the bigger beauty stores. I will definitely be back to the beauty store at JCPenney. JCPENNEY DRESSES -- Right now, JCPenney has partnered with celebrity designer, Prabal Gurung, for an exclusive line of clothing. The designer is from Nepal but he moved to America years ago. His line with JCPenney is an inclusive line so it is more affordable than his usual $800-$2500 pieces. My friend bought me a cute Prabal Gurung dress which is currently on sale for under $60 (photos of his dresses attached). And she responded the whole store so I was all gongho, filling my hands with shirts and unnecessary holiday decor cuz everything is so cheap, only to get to the register and I hear everyone in line complaining about what the signs posted all over the store states. Apparently last week if you spent $50, they sent you a coupon for 50% off and you would have to know that in order to understand there is no sale whatsoever unless you have that coupon. So why not take the dumb signs down? What a headache for everyone. Also, maybe educate your employees because they also do not understand.
