Dear Value World management at these Ohio locations, for the love of everything, could you please stop cranking the heat so that we have to strip off 2 layers of clothing to shop comfortably? Thank you for your attention to this madness.... Other than that, I really like this thrift store and this is my favorite location. It's only been open for a few years. It's really large and clean. There's always a ton of selection and good deals; value for your money. Plus- they even have a fitting room at this location! It's the little things.... Clothing racks are packed so tight you can't look very easily. Items on shelves are filled in where there is any open space and it is extremely hard to find anything. The toy area looks like the overflow from a dumpster..most items broken or dirty and thrown all over. Items are also very over priced!! I love checking out thrift stores in other towns! It's the day after Christmas and raining in Cleveland so decided to check out a few shops in the hopes of finding some funky art/frames and 80's tshirts since my eldest is obsessed. The store was well organized; however they have tags with different colors and where I'm from those colors tend to coordinate with daily sales so I asked a lady who worked there what they meant and she said usually they have daily sales but everything was 50% off today and I even clarified "only holiday stuff?" And she responded the whole store so I was all gongho, filling my hands with shirts and unnecessary holiday decor cuz everything is so cheap, only to get to the register and I hear everyone in line complaining about what the signs posted all over the store states. Apparently last week if you spent $50, they sent you a coupon for 50% off and you would have to know that in order to understand there is no sale whatsoever unless you have that coupon. So why not take the dumb signs down? What a headache for everyone. Also, maybe educate your employees because they also do not understand. Sincerely, a customer who is unimpressed with this experience and probably will skip next time we're in town. read more

Value World - Deceptive signs all over - Department Stores Near Me - North Olmsted, Ohio

Some of their stuff is priced okay, and then other stuff is priced lightyears away from reality. I'm talking prices I've never seen before at thrift stores. Racks are packed and overflowing.. you can't budge most areas in the clothing section - I wonder why? This place is grimey even for a thrift store and yet you're greeted with a big bold sign out front saying "no food or drink" like your Dunkin iced coffee is going to somehow make a difference. To finish up a subpar experience, I witness a manager speaking insanely rudely to an elderly customer in front of me at check out. He then talks down his nose at me like I'm trash and proceeds to bark out orders at the other employees without actually stopping to help anyone. The registers were jammed with multiple lines and instead of doing literally anything useful, talks to customers like crap and chooses not to help out the other workers. The North Randall location is way out of the way for me, but I'll choose that store any day over this one. read more

I love thrifting - came here during the 50% Labor Day sale Saturday bout about 50 bucks of stuff that was the half off price for 3 squishmallows and lots of clothes. Found some pink brand sweatpants. With the gemstones on them :)) got a lot of new stuff - I am a happy camper here :) read more

The store has been a blessing to us for over a quarter of a century. The fifty percent off sales are nice,the different color tag sales are nice, the holiday sales are nice, the children's sales are nice, the summer sales are nice, the spring clothing sales are nice,the flash sales are nice. This store is huge. All clothes are sorted by color to help you search for specific colored clothing. They carry something for all member of the family. They even have miscellaneous items like housewares, bedding, bags, and more. The pricing is very good and some things still have the original tags on them. read more

the store is very big and there is a lot to look through so that's nice but the prices here are ridiculous and they seem to have forgotten they are a THRIFT store whose inventory is donated and not always in great condition . 9 bucks for an old, beat up and very dirty pair of white kids sneakers? 150 dollars on a pair of used Tory Burch flats kept behind the counter? yea they are a mid priced designer item but for that price I would just go buy new ones lol. Why were a few individual bars of ivory soap locked up in the case with all the perceived more valuable items? 24 bucks for some old non designer coat in just ok condition. for these prices I will just go to target or walmart and get something new. what are we doing folks we've lost the plot. also not sure anything is grouped by size just color so it's frustrating on that front. I don't think I will return but some might find some treasures if they are ready to dig and don't mind paying a lot more than something is worth read more

This location STINKS. There are air fresheners/ odor control everywhere and I even saw the health department in there once. I have been back a few times since, but the smell is still prominent and overwhelming. read more

Lots of clothes with stains... some significant. Ridiculous that people would donate clothes in that condition and worse that the site would try to sell them, especially at the less than desirable prices. The prices have definitely went up and the quality has went down. read more
