In its current state, Flower Child is walking into a retro basement that has decades of treasure! LAYOUT/INVENTORY: The store has two levels with multiple rooms of treasure. Both levels have similar merchandise - home goods, kitchen tools, some furniture, abundance of accessories, clothing, vinyls, and some interesting international decor. Just when you think you ran out of rooms, there are more rooms of treasure to browse. I especially loved the basement. Every room is a treasure hunt! If you wear petite sizes, this is a treasure trove of vintage clothing. You'll find tees, dresses, sweaters, and pants. The clothing is casual and functional. Check out all the clothing rooms on the main level and basement. VALUE: The discounts on merchandise of 70% is a great value. However, the initial prices are quite high considering the quality. Some of the clothing and items are very well loved. I don't see myself paying full prices for the items to be extremely honest. SERVICE: The staff was very nice to customers during checkout. There was a lot of excitement about the upcoming store move. They staff was always very busy. Personally, I wanted to ask about the pricing for a folk pin I was eyeing. There was no one to ask so I eventually gave up. I'm sure the service is more attentive during the regular days. PARKING: I was surprised to find a pretty large parking lot at the back of the building considering the location is in Lakewood. Amazing if you're carrying home a lot of treasure. I would recommend Flower Child to guests who enjoy digging for treasure. You definitely need maybe an hour to focus on each room without getting overwhelmed. I look forward to checking out the layout of a new store!

Certainly not any secondhand store in New York City, that's for sure. I'd flown to Cleveland without formalwear and trusted I'd find a boutique or department store near my hotel. I stumbled upon Moonstruck and immediately found a stunning key lime green dress on clearance for $10. The shoes and earrings amounted to $20. My fellow guests were *shocked* that I'd thrifted the entire thing. I also found a pair of strappy Anne Klein heels for $45. It's a tiny spot with a bathroom slash makeshift dressing room, but the deals were astounding. They have men's, women's and children's clothing, jewelry, accessories and a range of home goods, art and knick-knacks. Moonstruck is an unassuming gem that seriously enhanced my visit!

Habitat Restore is such a great place in general and I was really happy with this location. Let's start with the parking lot. Although it is a bit tight, the traffic all goes in one direction which is super helpful and the entrance to the building is stairs but there's also a ramp going in, which makes this place handicap accessible and easy to bring home rolling or heavy things from the store. Upon entering the store, I noticed that there are huge signs hanging from the ceiling telling you where things are located which made navigating through the warehouse easy peasy. I was on a mission and immediately found what I was looking for. I talked with a staff member who was friendly and was delighted as two customers who happened to be leaving at the same time as I was, helped me bring my stuff to the car. Bonus! To go even further, they did a buy one get one free on a brand new in the box dining room ceiling light which we couldn't pass up. I will be returning!

When I say this place is packed, I mean its stacked from floor to ceiling with items, deep into it's hidden nooks and rooms. Oh, and there's a door stairs with even more nooks and rooms. Just don't be scurred when you walk down the steps and are greeting by an electric chair--its a prop, not real. Although based on some of the shirts for sale, I feel like the lady who owns this place has a thing for skeletons... Anyways, when I said I could have spent a fortune, I mean that some of the items are definitely priced at "antique store" prices. But not everything is! Lamps are pricey if they're still in working condition. We found an old crank pencil sharpener and brought it home for only $15. Definitely a must-stop on your thrifting and antiquing route in CLE!

It was a very pleasant experience. I also witnessed them engaging in friendly conversations with other customers. I did not purchase anything due to the store carrying a very limited plus size inventory. It's a well set expectation at most thrift and vintage shops due to procurement difficulties.
