This is the coolest shop ever. Totally retro, vintage, 50s, 60s, 70s. The items are nice and clean. Everything is here. Clothes, furniture, jewelry, curios, knick knacks, wall hangings, shoes, games....everything is groovy. The basement is a booty for all who crave these types of flashback items. Stop in and go, Ahhhh, wowza, groovy man.

It's like a time warp and I love all the exploring you can do. The only downside is that it's pretty pricey

Well organized store with great items and prices. The staff are all very friendly and helpful people. This is one of my favorite vintage spots, and I definitely recommend paying a visit if you're ever in cleveland.

It is honestly so astounding to me that Flower Child doesn't have more recent reviews and photos. The photos others have uploaded are not reflective of this place at all. It's not creepy. In fact, it's the polar opposite. It's a visual treasure trove and an interesting place everyone should visit once. Even if you're not looking for something in particular, if you're in the area, just come explore. You'll have fun. Flower Child itself is two floors. The highlight, for me, is the furniture sections. They've curated several rooms of funky, crazy, colorful furniture sections filled with couches, decor, trinkets, and accessories. You'll find a gorgeously eccentric velvet tufted sofa next to an end table filled with hand-painted art and vintage frames that still have photos of beautiful people in them draped in fur in the 1950s. Honestly, to thoroughly investigate even one of those rooms takes significant time. They also have a really cool jewelry selection filled with statement pieces, costume jewelry, dainty pieces and nightlife pieces. Everything looks like it carries an interesting story... which is one of the reasons I love to vintage hunt. I'm an experienced vintage hunter. I often hear that people think that's "cool" and they "wish they knew how to do it." If you're one of these people, Flower Child is a great place to start. It's budget-friendly, the staff are willing to help you, and no one is going to cheat you out of anything (this isn't a super high-end place where you're looking for couture, though they might have some). It's a great place to welcome yourself into vintage hunting by finding a few quirky things you never knew you needed. Tea set? Faux fur Penny Lane coat? Books? A vintage letterman's jacket? Why not.

Extremely overpriced compared to similar stores. Staff was also rude when I asked a question about a piece of jewelry.

I ended up purchasing an item; hence, the reason I am writing this review. WHAT (type of store) -- Magically Found is a quirky shop filled with random items such as candles, cards, tea cups, etc. The owner was super friendly during my visit. She explained that this shop has what a grandmother living in an English cottage would keep at her house. ITEMS -- The owner explained this to be a witchy store hence the name "Magic" is in the store name. I am not into witch things neither do I believe in that but the store has many other items to buy. They sell matches, candles, candle stick holders, tea cups, and other random items. I bought a little square container ($9) that has a strawberry shaped top/cover. It can be used for anything such as to put earrings in or even cubed sugar. I still haven't decided what I'll use mine for but it is in my kitchen for now. I never knew this store existed in Lakewood but I'm glad to have stopped by. If you like antique or older items then stop on inside and support this small, local business. **** - 80/150 total reviews in 2023 - 631 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 9 November 2023

I've now shopped here multiple times and am always impressed by the thoughtful selections she so expertly curates. Whether you need a gift, want to buy yourself something, or just want your vibrations raised, this is the place to go. The store is just a feast for your eyes. It has a strong Practical Magic flare to it (and you may even hear its magical soundtrack playing). Dried herbs and flowers hang from the ceiling, taper candles are nestled into the most unsuspecting corners, and vintage wares are everywhere to be discovered. Rebecca self-describes her shop as "Eclectic Granny Decor, Cottage Witch Vibes" according to Instagram. As I type this, I have a taper candle made with dried flowers burning inside of a vintage owl holder. I love this shop and could truly buy everything in here. Rebecca is so creative and makes a number of the store products and is always putting together speciality boxes (think Taylor Swift themed, etc.). Come and visit this enchanting store when you really have the time to wade through it and soak it all in. I promise you'll fall in love! Easy metered parking is outside.

It's such a nostalgic loire with mid-century modern treasures between 1920 and 1980. I've now visited a few times and really loved my time here. It also has been recognized for being one of the best thrift shops in Ohio. I can see why! AMBIANCE/MERCH: The store occupies 10,000 square feet space on Lorain. It's a neighborhood well known for thrift to the extent that you can have your own crawl. Sweet Lorain has the main space, back space, and furniture room. The main space mostly contains old newspapers, vinyls, jewelry, and home decor. The furniture room has furniture and nostalgic toys. The back room is the treasure chest. You'll find global treasures, Ohio decor, Christmas decor, furs, clothing, luggage, hats, and never ending inventory of whatever you brain may dream up. Some inventory even indicates the era. The inventory pricing widely varies from a few cents to the thousands. Be ready to go on an archeological dig, there is an overwhelming amount of inventory and unique finds. I am a very picky thrifter, and even I can find things to light up about. I love the assortment of furs at Sweet Lorain. There are so many racks of fur coats, boxes upon boxes of muftas, stoles, and hats. There is a fabulous collection of feathered hats (let's bring this fashion back)! There are also a million other things to love. SERVICE: The service is pretty friendly, the owner and the employee always ask if you want help. I most impressed that the owner knows absolutely everything he carries in his enormous inventory. Just ask, and he'll tell you. PARKING: Small, gated parking lot is available onsite. You can also find plenty of street parking. SELL: This place allows you to sell your treasures. Make an appointment in advance. I plan to be back very soon to dig for formal accessories - shoes and clutches. If you have a formal occasion, venture out here. You'll find so many shoes, clutches, formal dresses, and everything in between. It's perfect destination for holiday outfit shopping and everything in between.

The only entrance is through La Mocha Essentially, the two are sister businesses. I never heard about Uptown Vintage, but I never say no to vintage adventure. And so, I checked it out. INVENTORY: One small storefront filled with predominantly household goods and furniture. The inventory is probably 1960's to current time. There are a few clothing items - men's jerseys and baseball hats (like Hooters hat). The space is filled with textures like wicker, knits, and ceramics. There are a few unique pieces like African sculptures and few gorgeous vases. Other than that, I found the inventory to be pretty overplayed. The prices were considerably higher compared to other shops in Lakewood and Cleveland. For instance, wicker fish was $60, and emerald velvet bench was $300. The store accepts Afterpay unlike other similar businesses. SERVICE: The service was okay, pretty transactional. I appreciated that help was offered with shopping. PARKING: There is no dedicated parking lot but street and meter parking is aplenty in this part of Lakewood. Stop in if you're in the mood to check out vintage with coffee in hand. They had definitely outgrown their old space, so it's exciting to see them just down the street in a new home thats size finally matches the amount of people who are dying for a coffee and crepe. The new spot has two giant rooms with plenty of seating, including the cutest little VHS corner. There's so much more room now to really enjoy the quaint grandma's living room vibe that Brewellas has always been iconic for. Their coffee and crepes are always delicious. Currently they don't have a huge seasonal menu like they normally would, but the classics + pistachio are more than enough for me right now! I cannot wait to go back!

I most recently stopped in during fall to winter transition when the cafe was already dressed up for Christmas - paper snowflakes descending from the ceiling, read bows and stockings adorning the walls, and a Christmas tree in the window. So festive! AMBIANCE: Cafe is one open space with vintage vibes - floral and funky wallpaper, vintage and artisan accessories sold at the cafe, and antique gold frames decorating the walls. The vibes are cozy and calm. The back of the cafe features barista lounge where baristas can relax during their shift, which is a nice amenity. The tables at the cafe get very quickly filled. I almost always get my order to go due to the lack of seating options. My only hesitation about visiting is the lack of one seat options/nooks. I sometimes like to go to a cafe to sit down for a while, read a book, and just pause. There are no options to have this experience here. While I always want to linger, I just take my order to go. If you do manage to get a table as a solo guest, there are some books by the checkout that I'm sure you can borrow. FOOD/DRINKS: Brewella's always invents fun seasonal specials - drinks and food. I always order from the seasonal menu. I also always order crepes. It's hard to find crepes around here that are well prepared. They get them just right at this cafe every single time. This time I ordered Merry Maple Latte ($5), Pear & Brie Crepe ($11). I wasn't crazy about either choice. Merry Maple Latte was too heavy on the milk that overpowered the flavors. I couldn't taste maple at all. Pear & Brie Crepe also didn't hit the spot due to pears. They were too mushy for my liking and too artificially flavored. I feel like pear jam substitute would be a better choice. While I wouldn't order these specific menu items again, I always love crepes and lattes at Brewella's. SERVICE: The service is pretty transactional. I tend to chat with the baristas at other local cafes, often know their names, and enjoy the interaction. Here the service is quick but there are no warm interactions. It's really what I like the least about Brewella's, there's a lack of connection. PARKING: Only street parking available. Parking is a bit hard to come by during the weekends. I plan to arrive early in the day for my next Brewella's visit and bring some friends to enjoy the table seating. I can't wait to see Valentine's Day decor at Brewella's and new drink creations! If you love holiday decor and inventive seasonal drinks this the place for you!
