Very nice place. Definately my very favorite thrift store. The staff is great and I love shopping with proceeds going to a good cause.

They offer extended hours and have an incredible selection of treasures, collectible's, antiques, vintage and so much much more. The prices are very reasonable and they have a color system that can save you 15-50% off featured colors. My 87 year old Nana makes the trip from Kentucky regularly to shop and purchase items. The staff is incredible-- friendly, sincere, knowledgeable and Fair! After you make the first visit, you'll become a regular!!!!!!! Kudos guys on a job well done.

If you're looking for vintage, you might want to stop here first before you go to some of the other vintage shops in Cleveland, since other resellers get some of their merchandise from here and jack up the price. The hours are a little weird. Pricing can be a little inconsistent, but overall they keep things pretty inexpensive, at least when it comes to the clothes, and they have a lot of sales. Some of the furniture and bric-a-brac looked a little overpriced to me, but I could be wrong. It's a great little shop and I highly recommend stopping by, if only to look around at some really cool stuff and score some complimentary cookies!

Common Threads is a very nice thrift shop, there are 2 locations a larger store in Fairview park…read moreand the medium sized store in Brookpark near the airport. This store is located in a large shopping plaza, plenty of parking in front. The store itself is well organized and breaks down about 50%/50% between clothing and home goods. Up front as you come in you will find some furniture and plenty of interesting pieces. There is usually one or two displays in the front windows. On the left side of the store you will find a nice selection of decor pieces, kitchenware and other assorted housewares. The right side of the store is women's clothes up front with men's clothes in the back. The clothes are generally of real high quality, the prices are a bit higher than most other stores, but if you go on Thursday the prices are 50% off. Each day of the week has a different discount deal. While I don't always find something I want, when I do it is usually very cool. I did find a small stained glass lamp in a Frank Llyod Wright style and a cool little carved stone figure. Overall the Brookpark store has some really nice products and you can find some great finds. Common Threads Brookpark is a very well organized and well stocked thrift store; it almost feels like you are not at a thrift store but you can definitely find some really great buys. They do a really nice job of presenting the products and keep the store well stocked and looking good. May not be the place to find the best values, but you can find some great buys.

I love both locations! Clean stores with a little bit of everything. Cute staging and organized…read more Great prices and great locations.

I have always loved this Goodwill; It's the closest one to my house and I've found lots of goodies…read moreat this location. That being said, the organization and quality of this location is notably declined every time I visit. Today was the worst experience I've had here. I walked in at 5:45. The store was incredibly busy today. There was plenty of staff to handle it - I counted 5 employees on the floor. The first thing I noticed was that the return racks were overflowing (initially a good thing for me, I like going through put-backs). By 6:30 I had an armful of clothing items that I wanted to try on. By this time, 4 employees had barricaded the dressing room area and blocked the ONLY floor length mirror in the store to sort through the return racks. 5 customers with full carts and arms of clothing have surrounded the dressing rooms, and one of the employees says they've closed 2 of the 4 dressing rooms for the night. An HOUR AND A HALF before closing, with a very busy store!! And again, the ONLY full length mirror has been put out of commission by this return process. I understand that they were behind on sorting the return racks and needed to deal with it, although I'm not sure how that happened with so many people working. What I truly do not understand is why on earth they would close half of the dressing rooms with dozens of people still browsing, and 1.5 hours before closing. I ended up going over to the wall art section and bending down to review my choices in a mirror for sale on the floor. The last few times I've been here they've closed the dressing rooms earlier and earlier. There is never an announcement that the dressing rooms are being closed early. I get that these hardworking people want to leave on time and get home to their families. However, with 5 employees working, it should certainly be manageable to return goods consistently to avoid getting overwhelmed and keep the dressing rooms open until a reasonable time. I'm going to avoid this location for a while. I thrift after work, and it seems I'll have almost no time to browse before they start shutting down. All of that said, Beverly at the cash register is an absolute angel. Her sweetness brought me back from being quite overwhelmed and irritated.

Last time I came here probably last summer I got a Patagonia sweater for my dad and a swimsuit top that was brand new and fit me well! Sometimes I can find something here - but I have to search.

The Fairview Park shop is a nice combination of clothes and some great bric a brac. Located in a medium sized plaza the Discovery Shop is also medium sized, always clean and well organized and you can find some great finds. Each week they have a 50% off color and the last weekend of the month everything in the store is 50% off. At this store I have found some really good clothes finds, especially on the men's clearance rack where the cost is $1 per item. I have found suit jackets, shirts and pants, while the men's selection is not large, what they have is usually very good and high quality. I have noticed that this store has a much larger selection of women's clothes. The store usually has a nice small selection of dishes, kitchenware and art; they do have some really interesting items up near the register, they often have some pieces from Europe, Asia and Africa. The selection seems to change everytime I have visited, nothing seems to last long at this shop. As an example I found a really nice leather motorcycle bag for under $10. The Fairview Park Discovery Shop is a fun and diverse place to do some thrifting; not the biggest store, but they really do a great job of making sure that they are selling high quality items at great prices. Not the kind of thrift store you are going to spend hours at, but well worth a visit whenever you are in the area to check out what they have. Plus the proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society which is a very worthwhile charity.

I love visiting here. The volunteers are always so friendly and welcoming. Prices are fair. I…read morealways find such great deals. Especially during the 50% off sales during the end of the month.
