Best vintage store in Oberlin, by far. The store, first of all, is arranged beautifully. The owners have a wonderful eye. Second, their clothing selection (unlike other shops in the area that could be qualified more as thrift stores) is true vintage (!!!), all very well made, from lingerie to fur coats and hats. I've bought several dresses from Laurel, one of which was a luscious silk blue dress; another was a quilted suit dress with jacket. I plan to go back soon and purchase other dresses from the same set. The clothing is of the highest vintage quality and variety, while the prices are very low. The furniture selection is outstanding. Personal, friendly customer service- she really listens to what you want and need. The selection here is super hip and trendy- I literally want to take everything home with me! It's hard to find someone I trust to do my sewing besides my mom, but I am so happy I found Laurel ! She's a lifesaver!! The fitting rooms are humongous & she offers ALL sizes of clothing & accessories to fit every shape and size!! A great addition to Oberlin! I found a Dior topcoat here which I gifted to my mom, it was in excellent condition. The owner Jade had some great ideas for styling the coat, so I also picked up an awesome vintage belt and silk blouse. Definitely will be back! read more
