A request this winter for routine furnace check up couldn't be scheduled until four weeks later. At that time also asked for an estimate for furnace replacement for which a tech was available the same day. Tech promised to send us a quote that night - the quote never arrived despite multiple requests. The tech who came out for the routine check up verified our observation that the control panel of the humidifier was not working and promised to send us a quote for replacement. Guess what - quote never arrived. We paid $205 + credit card fees for the visit but never received a statement of work or even a receipt. On the plus side the techs come out at the scheduled time, seem knowledgeable, and behave professionally. Too bad they don't have time to send out promised quotes!

He came out and quickly diagnosed the issue as low refrigerant. Afterwards, he assessed the rest of my unit and made suggestions to keep it running more efficiently. He also explained what repairs I made need in the near future. At no point did I feel pressured into repairs that I didn't need. You can tell Carlos and his team value honesty, clear communication, and quality workmanship. Installed new shut-off valves to the vanity, toilet and tub faucets and even vacuumed before he left. We had a water pressure problem after he left, and Jimmy Gusky had another tech at the house the next day to resolve it - the solution was really simple and had to do with sediment settlement near a valve when the water main was off for repairs. It was a bit embarrassing, frankly, to have a plumber open the valve when we could have done so ourselves to clear the sediment and restore water pressure. Both plumbers were great about explaining their work and the rationale behind it while they were in our home. I recommend this company for the thorough repairs and friendliness, professionalism of their techs.

Turns out it was indeed pepcos thermostat that was malfunctioning and not my furnace. Because i was impressed with his service, I bought a new thermostat and installation on site from Eury. I simply don't trust Pepco to take responsibility for their own product and get out here to fix it, so I paid the $250 charge to A&S to actually fix my problem.
