Rather than service our system, their main concern is sending a Home Health Report stating you need to buy a brand new system. During a recent service call, they sent Hugo Coyac, who was both unprofessional and dismissive. Our HVAC system was fully functional before his visit, yet it stopped working immediately after. Instead of resolving the issue, we were told our "only option" was to purchase a new system due to age. This left us without AC for four days during 100-degree weather. A local independent technician later restored our unit in less than an hour by simply replacing dirty coils and replenishing 2lbs of Freon--basic services Freschi failed to provide us over this past year. This made it clear their priority is selling expensive replacements, NOT solving problems. Freschi Air Service pressures homeowners, disregards customer concerns, and sends salespeople rather than qualified technicians. I urge homeowners to seek out smaller, owner-operated companies that focus on honest service and customer education. We will never use Freschi again. They should take Experts out of their name and replace it with Salespeople. Do not recommend; do not waste your time.

He suggested that since it's below 6percent of what it should perform, I can replace it now to prevent air conditioning stop working unexpectedly or no cold air. He is exceptionally bright, knows his craft and very honest in dealing with his customers. He does not try to upsell you on buying new products or additional service. Our AC was not blowing cold air two days ago when the weather was reaching over 100 degrees. I reached out to John the next day and he promised to do the service call first thing the next day. I told John that maybe our AC needed refrigerant because it was not blowing cold air, but John caution me that it could be something else besides refrigerant. He was right, it was a blown fuse after his diagnostic investigations. He also help discovered that we had some air flow blockage and that turns out we had a very dirty air filter. Asked a few companies to come out and take a look at what was going on. First company recommended that I have my system replaced since it would be cheaper than fixing. Second company, I just asked for a quote but they didn't mention anything about an easier solve. Thankfully, I called Clayton Brothers for a third opinion. Nathan listened to the issue I was having as well as the age of the system (~10 years old) and said he would sent someone out to see what they could do. Cory came out a few days later. Got my AC up and running without any major repairs. Also made some adjustments on the outlet from my condensate drain pan so I wouldn't have issues there in the future. Highly recommend. Let's get real. It's really difficult to find companies that will do honest, quality work on your house. I'm sure we all have stories of not so great experiences. HVAC work is expensive so getting it done right is paramount due to the cost of the investment. To sum up our experience with Tri-City: this was one of the top experiences my husband and I have ever had with any vendor doing work on a home in our entire life. In an effort to do some due diligence on my part, I contacted 2 other HVAC businesses which had top ratings on Yelp in my area. Tri-City and these other 2 HVAC companies all met me in person to do look around to quote the work. I took many notes on each of the visits to record what each of the companies was recommending, along with other professional tidbits that they shared to demonstrate their knowledge. Selecting Tri-City as a vendor was a total no brainer for us. From the get go they were friendly, forthcoming, honest (which is so key), and professional. Out of all the vendors they were the only ones willing to REALLY look around in an effort to assess the work properly. They pointed out a few things we hadn't even noticed about our ancient system. From the beginning of our meeting it was clear they knew what they were doing and what they were talking about. With each of the 2 other top HVAC companies (which I won't name in this review), I had caught them being dishonest in their assessments. Each company lied about certain things in an obvious attempt to upsell work. Queue major eye rolling. It was really entertaining to see them suggest work be done which didn't make sense or make up lies about current/upcoming restrictions of what we can/cannot purchase in our county. When these lies came out I did my best to put on a poker face/act normal even though it just didn't make any sense. So although the other company's quotes were lower than Tri-City I didn't trust their estimates/quotes and knew I'd have to deal with major BS once work commenced. The likelihood I'd get surprise additional costs was pretty high which ultimately made all of the quotes even in cost between all 3 companies. The used car salesmanship attitude from these companies which were supposed to be "5-Star" companies only solidified our decision to hire Tri-City. Tri-City never attempted to milk us as a customer and we both greatly respected their transparency. They're real honest businessmen who stand by their work. That decision did not disappoint! Since we had asbestos wrapped ducts the abatement company Tri-City teams up with came first to take out all of the old ducts. Just like with Tri-City the asbestos company was professional, on-time, and clean. The work was done well and I appreciated that the company really made an effort to be careful with the dry wall around some of the wall vents. We were concerned that we'd have to do major patch ups of dry wall but in the end didn't have to b/c of how meticulous they were. Tri-City came in each day, completed quality work, and kept me abreast of their progress. When my husband requested pictures of their work in our crawl space they happily did that with no questions asked. They went out of their way to pick up new filters for us as the ones we had weren't optimal for our system (which we didn't know). Also they did an incredible job installing 2 new wall vents in the bathroom which is finally allowing heating/cooling into our bathroom! The caulking was done so well. The sign of a really great business is when they leave your home as clean or cleaner than when they came in. Each day Tri-City left our home spotless throughout the multi-day project. Our system is working so much better with the new ducts. If we ever need any installation work done in the future we will not hesitate to reach out to Tri-City for help. Paul, the owner from MechPros HVAC came over the weekend to do the assessment and consultation. It was very helpful be able to do it over the weekend so I didn't have to take time off from work. He was on time, communicated well, and very thorough. Among the half a dozen vendors I contacted, he was among the few that truly listened to my input instead of trying to upsell or push options I wasn't interested in. After comparing all the quotes, MechPros' quote was very competitive. I decided to go with them and scheduled the job which was able to start quickly in about a week after signing the contract. On the scheduled day, Will and Kieran, the two installation crew members, arrived right on time. They were courteous, personable, and professional, and did a good job. They kept the job site clean and neat with drop clothes with minimum disruption. After two days of work, the installation was done. They cleaned up nicely, took away all the disposable materials, and restored everything back to where things were. The installation job was done very neatly in the attic and backyard. I can tell they are proud of their work too. The new system is much better than the system it replaced. After the system started up, I noticed some issues. Paul was very responsive and sent a technician immediately to check it out. After a repair that wasn't successful, he personally came out and concluded that the issue was related to the equipment. Paul took responsibility and ownership of addressing the equipment problem under warranty with the manufacturer. He sped up the resolution by fronting the cost of providing replacement components and dealing with the warranty replacement parts separately to reduce the system down time. I appreciate MechPros HVAC and Paul for taking ownership and having customer service as a top priority. After the problem was resolved, MechPros also helped coordinate the city inspection to secure the final permit approval.
