My wife and I decided to have our 25th wedding anniversary dinner here. My God, they did not disappoint. After enjoying the sautéed mushrooms as an appetizer, my wife had the 14oz ribeye with salad and baked potato. I ordered the same thing except I had the 25oz Bone-In ribeye. I don't know who weighs these steaks, but the size is enormous. The service was great, the food was excellent and our waitress "Regina" was extraordinarily generous and helpful. Wow! I have been hearing about this place for years and finally made the trip. We arrived shortly after they opened and didn't have a long wait. The interior is a bit rustic with a grill in the center of the restaurant. We chose to sit near the grill. We did have a short wait before our server arrived, but then things began to get rolling. We skipped appetizers and got right to business. The salad was good and ranch dressing was decent. Once the steak arrived, it was everything I imagined. So the drive is not bad from Memphis and was about 50 minutes tops, off I-55 exit 257 Como. Old time building with upstairs with bar and balcony seating. The seating surrounds the Open BBQ Grill...The Como Steak House serves just that "STEAKS" and very tasty ones as well. Fish is on the menu for those who don't indulge in red meats. Entrees comes with a house salad, huge loaded baked potato and grilled Texas Toast. Meats are 22-24-25 ounce servings. You won't be disappointed. Also the desserts are delectable. I had the Como Delight (flaky crust chocolate pudding whipped pecan delight) also bourbon pecan pie. Appetizer I had the fried pickle spears. I'm visiting Como steakhouse now after Driving an hour from Memphis with my family for a celebratory dinner, after waiting for someone to speak, or ask for seating, I was not greeted, but yelled at from a bust boy that "we only doing medium" I'm instantly confused, and he then replied that we're about to close, when online and over the phone the closing time was 10p and it was only 8pm. We are now seated, and after ordering drinks, we were told that they're only serving steaks, Which not everyone can eat a medium steak, I am very disappointed with the service and availability tonight. We have enjoyed this establishment several times but will not return after this trip. Also there was a sign up front which increased prices of the steaks they did have, which should definitely be considered price gouging. read more

If your whole party isn't there at the same time, you have to put your name on the list until your COMPLETE party gets there. LOVE THAT! They give you plenty of napkins without asking. The side salad is made with green leaf fresh lettuce ...not the bagged iceberg lettuce that's in every other restaurant in the Delta. When you finish eating a dish, it's only seconds before someone asks you if if they can clear the dishes out of your way. When you order a drink, you get it within 5-10 minutes. The manager wanted to argue with me about my son steak after the server with the bad attitude wrote it down wrong. After eating a disappointing meal where the steak was more fat than meat and my lamb was extremely raw we chatted with the table beside us who had traveled a long distance and had at least 15 great meals there over the years. said that they experienced similar with fatty steak being tough also. Took our son for a good steak during the Ole Miss game weekend. We haven't been in about 9 months and expected a long wait. We were excited to see that on a Friday night at 7 there really was only a 5-10 minute wait. After being seated our waitress came to take our drink and appetizer order. When our sausage/cheese platter was delivered it was placed on the table and she walked away. I flagged her down to request small plates for each of us. She acknowledged but never brought them to us. Our steaks took 45 minutes to be delivered to our table. The steaks were absolutely delicious, perfect temps and perfect seasoning. The baked potatoes were cold, so cold the butter wouldn't melt. Waitress checked back often to serve more drinks. The drinks tasted as though there was no alcohol in them at all. So, the steaks deserve a five star rating, but service was a real drawback tonight. The tip is automatically added to your check at 18 percent. I normally tip 20-25 percent but chose not to add to the tip since the restaurant practices this policy of adding the tip automatically. I want people to know that my wife and I ate there last night. Everything was great until they brought my Sirloin to me. It was the toughest steak I have ever tried to eat in fact I could not eat it. When we arrived, we were told it would be a 2 hour wait and because this was our 8 year anniversary and my first Mother's Day, my husband was determined to make it special, so we waited. My husband ordered the porterhouse medium rare and I ordered the 20 oz ribeye medium rare. My steak was rare and my husband's was medium. I sent mine back only to get a "well" done steak. I wasn't about to send it back a third time and just dealt with it. If you're charging $50 for a steak, cook it correctly. At this point, my tea glass had been empty for 30 minutes and I never got a refill or the to-go tea I requested (which I waited on for over 15 minutes AFTER paying). Our waitress hands us the check and there's an 18% gratuity added already and it was just us two there. I ask the waitress about it and she said they just started that and "I guess the owner thinks his waitresses deserve to be paid well..." then HE should compensate them. Now, I'm big on tipping, don't get me wrong, but this lady made almost $30 off two people and couldn't even keep my glass full! When gratuity is automatically added, why wouldn't your waitress take it easy? Every table in that room had to ask for more drinks! So, not only will they charge you 3.5% if you use a credit card, they're also going to charge you an automatic 18% gratuity whether the server has earned it or not. To drive an hour, wait two hours, and then have subpar service and food, we left disappointed and thirsty. read more

I've only had one "bad" experience with them and it was more so because someone in the party asked for well done and their steak came out slightly burned. The cook personally made it for it tho by giving her an even better grade as a replacement. So not only is their food good- they go out of their way to make sure you're satisfied all at the same time! The steaks are huge and come with a slash, potato and Texas toast. Absolutely disgusted with the steaks. This was my first trip after years of people telling me how awesome it was. My 14 Oz ribeye came out well done after asking for medium rare. The waiter asked for another to replace it. The 2nd one came out just as well done. My moms chop steak was returned as well after she asked for NO seasoning due to dietary restrictions. They sent it out with a mound of seasoning on it. My kids got the sirloin and half of it was fat. The waiter apologized and said "I'm sorry, we just aren't doing well with steaks tonight."
