There are many French toast selections but the one I recommend is the "Challah At Me". The inside of the restaurant is nicely decorated with breakfast vides such as flowers/plants, light bulb lanterns and overall the has great lighting. The service is also very fast and this is the second time I've come here! I've added a picture of the French toast for anyone who is curious. -Approved by James R.

My husband and I visited Aeirloom Bakery for breakfast while in Burbank last week…read more The inside was cozy with plenty of tables inside and outside. There were also seats available at a bar area. We ordered a Bloody Mary, a Roasted S'mores Latte, a Sunny Sandwich and the English Salmon. The drinks were great and I enjoyed the English Salmon especially the Hollandaise on top. My husband enjoyed his Sunny Sandwich as well, but you definitely need a knife and fork to eat it. Overall, service was great. Our server checked on us a few times and kept our water glasses full. Aeirloom Bakery prides itself on all organic ingredients so it is a great option for a good healthy breakfast! I wish I would have checked out their pastries, but we were so full from our meals. Check them out!

I believe Amber was at the counter. She recommended a variety of items and I had to try it! My friends Lisa got a Pumpkin Spice Latte and a Pumpkin Spice Crumble Doughnut. I got an Apple Spiced Chaider and a Blueberry Muffin. The ambiance is great. Very casual. There is indoor and outdoor seating. We were both super happy to have made this a stop. I visited this coffee shop on a Sunday morning. It was really busy…read more I ordered a Macchiato and blueberry matcha. Macchiato is not like the Starbucks or chain store ones. It is espresso with milk only. They don't fill the cup and it's only half of a cup. I wasn't told about it being like this. If I had known, I would have ordered something else. After picking up my drink and leaving the store, I noticed hair on my cup. I went back to the window. I didn't make it obvious and in a whispering voice tone I showed the lady my cup and asked if she can change the lid for me. I didn't even ask her to make a new one or refund me. I got a very judgmental look from her. She looked at my hair and the hair on the cup. Then she said she would make me a new one. If she had paid close attention she would know that's not my hair . My hair is way longer than two inches or so. She made a new drink, surprisingly the hair was still on the lid again. Maybe by mistake she put the same lid. I was in a rush, I just left. The look she gave me was a big turn-off for me since I really liked the vibe and ambiance of the store. Young Cashier lady was very nice and friendly. She was very patient with customers listening and taking her time in helping them. This coffee shop has been on my to-go list for almost a year because of the lovely vibe. It is a perfect spot to hang out and read a book. I gave four stars because of the matcha, and ambiance, which were great. This location is street parking only. When I visited there were plenty of empty spots on Magnolia Blvd.

You could really tell they wanted to make sure we had a great experience. The restaurant has tons of indoor and outdoor seating, and I loved that each area has a different vibe. There's also a convenient to-go window if you're looking to grab something for takeout. We opted for the country breakfast and the chilaquiles which were both a 10/10! Will absolutely be returning and already looking forward to trying more from their menu!

Almost horrifyingly so. The other issue I had was the grilled shrimp salad. Easily the worst salad I had in my life. They add all sorts stuff into the bowl that it just didn't make any sense with a grilled shrimp salad. They added bacon that had the texture of beef jerky. Then they had all kinds fruits that didn't compliment the taste at all. Think about it: grilled shrimp, beef jerky bacon, fruits like strawberries and blueberries? I love all those things ... except bacon beef jerky but to put it all in a salad? Gross.

It felt like it needed a protein , or some kind aioli, it was dry and not super tasty. Coffees were ok. 70$ for 2 people to eat breakfast and 2 coffees, A bit pricey, and you order at the counter and have options for 18,20,25% tip , which felt weird and pressured to do before my food had even arrived. So I tipped 11$ for someone to bring me out food I guess. Ambiance was nice, very empty but pretty inside. I would go back to try their wood fired pizza. Not sure I'll be back for breakfast.

It was actually hard to decide on just one bakery item - everything looked delicious. Next time the coffee cake will be happening. I got poached eggs, bacon, potatoes and toast. Brunch isn't brunch without a little libation, so I had a lovely French white wine and he had a French red. The wine list though small by the glass is chosen very well. We were hoping they sold their bread at the bakery because it's absolutely delicious. Service is warm and friendly. Price point for breakfast with tip was $100. We will definitely be coming back soon to this great neighborhood spot.

Cara Vana Coffee Shop is honestly one of the best local coffee shops I've tried in a while!…read more I hate to say it, but a lot of local coffee shops tend to miss the mark for me. The coffee can be bitter, and sometimes you order a vanilla latte and can barely taste any vanilla. But Cara Vana gets it right. Their Horchata Iced Latte is absolutely delicious! I always get iced coffee, and this one has quickly become a favorite. It is definitely on the sweeter side, which is exactly how I like my coffee, but they have no problem modifying the sweetness if you prefer it less sweet. The horchata flavor is actually distinct and tastes SO good with the coffee. It doesn't just get lost in the espresso. The shop itself is also really cute, with a modern Latino flair that gives it a great atmosphere. And of course, I love supporting Latino-owned businesses! The staff are always so kind and welcoming, too, which makes the experience even better. And I have to mention the green burrito and the salsa they serve with it. Both are a MUST try! Great coffee, great food, cute atmosphere, and genuinely nice people. Definitely check this place out if you're looking for a good local coffee shop!

Extremely disappointing first and last visit…read more I walked in expecting a simple coffee, but the customer service was incredibly disappointing. The barista was playing games on his phone while I was speaking to him, and I could clearly see that he was still on his phone because of the way he was positioned. I was already frustrated by the lack of attention, but things got worse after I finished ordering. After I tapped my card, I was told that there had been a mistake and that I had only been charged 9 cents, so I needed to come back and pay again. Mistakes happen, and I would have completely understood if he had simply apologized and handled the situation professionally. Instead, he continued playing on his phone while dealing with me. The entire interaction came across as incredibly rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Customer service should be the bare minimum, especially when someone is taking the time to come into your establishment and spend their money. Unfortunately, this experience was enough to make me realize that this would be my first and last visit. There are plenty of coffee shops where customers can get good coffee and basic courtesy.
