Mom had the grilled cheese with sweet potato fries (they were even good as cold leftovers!!). The sandwich comes with a combo of 3 melted cheeses. Dad had the honey glazed chicken. Also really good. Hubby had the 2-meat BBQ plate with pulled pork and 1/2 rack of ribs. He really liked his ribs. He was pleased with the baked beans, too. And I got the steak salad. Delicious! When trying a new place, I always go for that and I was not disappointed one bit! I tried both the baker's roll (rosemary and sage today) and the heart attack roll. Neither made me think I was eating GF. As first-timers, we were given free chocolate chip cookies. The centers were soft and moist with crisp edges. I do like a ymmy sweet to finish off the meal. It's really nice to have a GF restaurant where the family can all go and find something without compromising selection or taste. We'll certainly be back!!

I ordered a couple shawarma plate and a couple pit wraps... the wraps were devoured by hungry young adults before I got to snap a photo. The shawarma plates were spicy and delicious. The beef was slightly drier than I prefer but it was still quite tasty. The niece said the lamp gyro pita wrap was the best lamb she's had. I don't know what her lamb experience has been but it's a great compliment I think. After placing my order it only took 14 minutes to get my food. It was securely packaged and still warm upon getting home. The sauce is peppery goodness. Must have it on everything! Great experience. Will go again!

Since then, I've visited a few times and have ordered a few different types of pupusas, all of which have been absolutely delicious. Each pupusa is freshly prepared and served with curtido (pickled cabbage slaw). Each pupusa is a pretty large size - I order two each time, and 1 1/2 in, I'm usually pretty full. Pupuseria Del Valle operates out of a food truck in Common Fields. Unlike some of the other food trucks there, you order directly at the food truck's window. After ordering, you receive a restaurant pager, so you can sit down and wait for your food. The wait time is usually between 10-15 minutes. I'd never gotten a chance to try a pupusa (only gorditas, which are somewhat similar) before eating them here. I'm so glad I tried them for the first time at Pupuseria Del Valle, because they are now one of my favorite foods!

The two staff working were kind but there was some mild confusion when I placed the order, which was compensated for by them promptly making a correction to the order.
