I mean this place is phenomenal. Such a lovely day. Such good food. Such friendly service (tell me whom you would want to provide you an amazing meal more than this person). Great food court. 100% in on coming here every time I return to Corvallis.

I thought they only had pupusas during farmers market but guess what?! Now you can get pupusas at the Common Fields ANY DAY of the week! Their pupusas are extremely fresh and delicious. I didnt think Corvallis had pupusas but i was happy to find a place here. If i could i would eat here every single week. Their costumer service is truly amazing!

Always good and solid, even from the days of the farmer market.rs market. The slaw is good enough to ask for more!

Service was very friendly and personable. As I was there, a lot of regulars came in and were greeted warmly. Always a good sign. The complementary chips and salsa were just okay, but I did enjoy the refried beans they included. I went with the Combination Los Dos Hermanos, which features some Salvadoran dishes. It comes with a pupusa filled with shredded pork and cheese and a tamale filled with chicken. The pupusa is kind of like a tortilla packet. I found mine to be very delicious, with yummy pork and rich cheese. The tamale was good too. I loved the tangy cabbage salad that came with the main dishes, and the fried yucca root was super tasty too. The rice was okay, and the beans were good; I think they might have been red silk beans, but I am not sure about that. I was checked in on a few times, and it was a great lunch experience. I will keep this place in mind when I'm next in the area!

Salsa did actually have some heat to it compared to other similar places. So that was nice. I ordered the camarones à la diabla. Told them I liked it spicy. So the color of my dish wasn't something I normally see. Usually much more red in color. Maybe because I asked for it to be really spicy it was more in the green side. I don't know. This is also an el Salvadorian restaurant so maybe different ingredients. Either way it was pretty good. The spice was there that's for sure. I opted with flour tortillas. I'm not sure they make them in house they seemed like the small flour tortilla you can buy at any store. So overall great service, decent food. Would I go back. Probably not. I have other favorites when it comes to this type of restaurant. Check them out for yourself

One thing I really like about this food truck is that you can text (or call) your order in and it's ready when you arrive. The friendly staff are always happy to see you come in. There's a picnic table and a bench in a nearby garden which can just make your lunch magical. Okay, no unicorns running around but the flowers and greenery really help lift your spirit when cooped up inside for hours. I guess I should mention the food; it's awesome! I was a bit skeptical about the reviews of the carne asada, but it's true- it's GOOD! So far Ive had the carne asada burrito, carne asada quesadilla and yes, carne asada tacos. Every item Ive had has been delicious. I want to call out the quesadilla for the spot light, however. This thing has copious amounts of cheese and meat and comes with a side of rice and refried beans; it made two lunches for me. I personally LOVE love love the green sauce here. One day it may be mild, the next it can knock your socks off; it packs a punch with a nice blend of cilanto. I recommend getting an extra one to drench the carne asada in, or eat some chips with. This is a don't miss place if you're around the neighborhood.

I pay for extra green sauce (like Chimichurri) for my burritos here. It is a unique and awesome fusion of Salvadoran and Greek flavors. The service can be a little hit or miss. One of the servers sometimes seems to be operating in slow mode and things get forgotten here and there. I honestly can't tell if he's just a forgetful fella or what, but everyone is always super friendly, so we roll with it. Last time I decided to venture away from my usual pupusas and tried the tacos poblanos, and they were delicious! I'm glad I switched it up because I'd absolutely order them again. Overall, the food is great, the people are friendly, and we keep coming back just with a little patience sometimes.

After about 30 minutes asked the other server if she could take our order. She gladly did and the food came out piping hot and super tasty. I failed to take a picture. I got the chimichanga with chicken filling and ate between one-third and half before getting full. Guacamole was fresh and had just the right creamy texture. Black beans were also a nice smooth creamy texture and with a good depth of flavor. The rice was the typical red-orange rice. I would definitely return. If you are downtown Salem looking for Mexican and have time this is a good contender.
