I have been craving a good breakfast burrito for a while so went for it! The lady in the cart was friendly, and had a huge smile, always good to see! She did a great job... the tortilla was wrapped tighter than I can ever get them... lots of practice I guess! :) Delicious... and a huge burrito. It had a bit more potato than I like, and could have used more Chorizo... but it was really good even so. I would order it again!

The tamale was fantastic, full of seasoned & marinated chicken. I think it was mole. The rice had a nice smoky flavor and went well with the seasoned beans. Overall it was very satisfying and well worth the price. It looks like they have branched out and now have a dessert/snacks cart. There was a wide array of Mexican fruit snacks and other drinks available. I didn't get anything on this visit, but definitely next time.

But it wasn't an expensive lunch. We waited for what seemed like forever for everything to be ready. Walking around outside, the building looks like a shack. I'm not even sure there is running water inside. It has the same siding as the apartments behind it, so I wonder if it's ran by someone who lives there? Or if they cook in their home and bring it there? I have no idea. This seems very similar to Joey's Pizza in that as long as you close your eyes and don't pay attention to where your food is coming from, it'll be great. Food itself was quite tasty and enjoyable. We took ours to-to and went home. Seating is an outdoor table only. Which seems more appropriate just for waiting to get the food than to actually eat it there. Would I return? If I happen to be driving by and they're open, yes. I can't say I'd go out of my way to eat here though. But it was certainly tasty for a tiny little dive.

Their street tacos are pretty standard in terms of toppings. However, I think they have some of the best taco meat in town. (I've tried the carnitas, carne asada, and adobada pork.) Their lengua tacos are especially good, it just melts in your mouth and is perfectly seasoned. Their burritos and tortas are decent, nothing to write home about. The beans that come with their combos taste very thin (watered down maybe?) and the rice is also just okay... I'll definitely come back regularly for their street tacos, especially since their location is very convenient for me. If and when friends come in town, I'll definitely take them here!
