Even though the part was fully covered under warranty, Alpine insisted we pay for the labor, $1,100 in refrigerant, and the $125 service fee. When I questioned the charges, they simply threw the warranty at me and pointed to the line saying refrigerant isn't covered -- as if that excused a failure that shouldn't have happened in the first place. Their original bill came to $1,750 for a problem that wasn't ours to begin with. Being charged for someone else's mistake just doesn't sit right with me. I asked multiple times for the service manager to call me so we could discuss the charges. He didn't call until two weeks after the repair was already completed. He claimed he had called several times, but after checking my call log, he had only called once -- and didn't leave a message. Exceptional Service and Unmatched Integrity…read more I recently had the pleasure of working with Kevin and his incredible team at Integrity Home Heating, and I feel compelled to share the exceptional experience I had with them. We enlisted Integrity Home Heating to install all new replacement flex ducting under our 2,000 sq ft home, an integral component connecting our heating and air conditioning unit to all the floor vents throughout our house. They also expertly replaced all of the duct material in our ceilings, ensuring seamless circulation from our HVAC system to the three ceiling returns. From my first interaction with Kevin, the owner, I knew his company was extraordinary. When we moved into our house six years ago, we needed assistance with tubing under our house that a previous worker had knocked loose before we moved in. Kevin himself came out, generously fixing it temporarily at no charge and sending an expert worker to ensure a more permanent and secure solution later on. This level of service is rare, showcasing Kevin's commitment to his customers and the community. When it came time to replace all the flex tubing and ductwork under our house and in our ceilings, there was no doubt in my mind that Integrity Home Heating was the right choice. Despite being a Ruud Dealer and not usually working with our brand of HVAC system, Kevin's in-depth evaluation of our system was impeccable. He even personally crawled everywhere under our house, identifying issues that others had overlooked, ensuring all work was accounted for in his bid without any additional hidden costs or add-on pricing like other companies. Kevin's bid was not only more affordable, but his expertise was evident, giving me complete confidence in his and his team's abilities. The other company we considered estimated a 3 to 5-day work period, but Kevin's efficient crew of five accomplished the entire project in just one day. Reflecting on my past and recent experiences with Kevin and Integrity Home Heating, I am beyond satisfied. The team was clean, efficient, and professional. They thoroughly explained the entire process and made sure everything was performed to the highest standard. But what stands out the most is their true honesty and integrity. There was never an attempt to overcharge or upsell unnecessary parts - a refreshing experience in today's market. In essence, Kevin and his crew truly embody the name of their company - INTEGRITY. I wholeheartedly recommend Integrity Home Heating for anyone in need of top-notch HVAC services backed by honesty, expertise, and genuine care for customers' needs. Thank You, Kevin And The Entire Integrity Home Heating Team, For Your Unmatched Service. You Have Earned A Customer For Life.

Now the negatives-  1.I asked for their most experienced crew and I was promised this certain team (I even verified a few days before as well). They sent a different team.  2. They do not sanitize the brushes and wands that go into your ducts which means they are introducing into your ducts everything from previous jobs- which could be rodent droppings and urine, dust mites, mold, diseases from dead animals, etc. I had the foresight to know this and asked them to please sanitize the brushes and wands first. I hope they did. 3. After they finished, they could not get the system back up and running. They tried for an hour and then I called the supervisor and he walked them through it (an extra hour of my time and a lot of angst on a Friday afternoon with 95 degree forecast over the weekend). 4. After they left I noticed the grilles were not on right (turned the wrong way, old paint showing where not lined up right, and screws missing), the return register was tightened so much all four corners were bent, the plaster was cracked on many sides of the registers and the return, the screws to the furnace were not tightened, the door where the filter goes was not shut tight. They came back out to fix what they could (another 2 hours of my time), but thank goodness I checked and noticed. 5. And I am not sure my system was left in the same working order it was in, the air flow actually seems diminished instead of better.
