He kindly worked around our schedule and made himself available on the day and time we needed. The gutters cleaning didn't take too long but with lots accomplished - the water flow is back! I have used Kendall for 2 years now, to do our Christmas lighting on our home. The cost was exorbitant ($1750), but I figured it was not worth having to put them up and store them myself. Both years, they had to send someone back a few times to fix hanging wires and lights that were not secured correctly. I still tipped them $100 ea. year. This year, when they were taking the lights down, we asked to have our gutters cleaned as well. They quoted us for the job, and we told them we'd let them know. Meanwhile, that day, they took the lights down and cleaned the gutters before we agreed to anything. I was not at home, but when speaking to my wife, she said it appears they're tossing debris down from the gutters. At that time, I did not see it as a big deal that we had not confirmed to do the cleaning and was glad it was done. I came home, and there were leaves and debris ALL over our deck, outdoor couches, and furniture. We called, and they said someone would come to clean it up. 2 days later, someone came, but I had already cleaned everything up. All of this was really no big deal as far as I was concerned. We received an invoice for $230 for the gutters cleaning. Very long story short, we totally forgot about the $230 invoice. Last week without contacting us at all... phone, email, notta.. They charged my card they apparently had kept on file from the Christmas lighting without our consent. I have absolutely no problem paying the bill, but contact me. I asked my wife to call and say we'd at least appreciate a call before you charged our card. She left a message to call us back as they did not answer. Two days went by, and we received no callback. I then sent an email that was not responded to. Two days later, I sent it again. I have sent the email regarding charging a card they should not have kept on file nor charged without my consent 7 times now and have received no response. I the last email, I stated I absolutely would not be using them for Christmas lighting or anything else in the future. I did consider contacting my bank and reporting an unauthorized charge, but I do not dispute the charge. My problem was Kendall charging a card they should have never kept on file and then not returning a phone call or 7 emails regarding that. I was fine putting aside the problems we had with Christmas lighting and them leaving an absolute mess after cleaning our gutters. I am not ok with unlawfully charging a card they should have never had on file and then not responding to me. Save yourself the time and anguish and find another company to do business with.

Over the last 5 years I have been living in Rehoboth Beach, DE but this in the best service I have ever received from any contractor in DE. On Friday, June 20, 2025, I noticed that my AC was not working and so I got on the internet to find a company. I put in my request on Yelp and within few minutes I received and called from Yelp. I told the Yelp agent that my central AC was not working and I was looking for someone to come out and fix it for me, The agent said she was not sure if any contractor could come out to fix my AC for another two to three weeks. However she said hold on as a technical had become available and would speak with me. Mark Bowman from Comfort Experts Heating & Air came on the line and he said it was a busy day for him, but he will be able to stop by my house on his way to Deway Beach, DE. Mark came to my house and inspected the AC unit and he was able to fix it. He updated me on everything he was doing and informed me of his findings. He was able to fix my AC unit. If anyone is looking for great customer service and a company that knows about HVAC please contact yelp and ask for Comfort Experts. Mark Bowman contacted me the next day and asked if the system was working satisfactory. Comfort Experts Heating and AC is all about providing good service to their customers. Full disclosure- I have no connections to this company. They were referred to me by my property manager when the AC went out on July 4 at a home I own and rent out weekly in Lewes, DE. I cannot say enough fantastic things about Mark and the company. First, Mark was at the house within three hours and called me immediately with the issue. He was so efficient and while he doesn't perform magic, he had the clogged line change asap - and when that didn't fully solve the problem, he was right back there with his crew with minimal disruption to the guests. He has even gone back to check on the issue to make sure all is perfect. The office staff is super efficient, contacting Mark when I needed an answer. I would highly recommend Compfort Experts. Our Trane A/C unit stopped working after 9 years. We were fortunate to find Comfort Experts on Yelp. After leaving a message at 7:30 am, I got a call back from Leeann within a short time. Mark diagnosed the problem over the phone and scheduled a visit for a couple of hours later. This was amazing! I thought we would have to wait at least a week. Mark and Chris came right on schedule that same morning and were able to replace a part. Our unit was working perfectly within a short time and for a reasonable cost. We were very impressed with their service and professionalism. All three of them have been a pleasure to work with. NO AC in this extremely hot July week. Called Mark from Comfort Experts and within minutes had a return call. Mind you, this was a Sunday afternoon. The issue was diagnosed as a compressor failure and the part was not available for 3-5 days from his usual provider. He went "over and above" to find one and have it shipped next day. He was even willing to put in a temporary unit to help us through, which we refused. They got the compressor unit installed IN THE POURING RAIN with umbrellas covering him and the unit while his other employees hovered around him. Looked like a critical surgery going on... Tom from Comfort Experts Heating & Air LLC in Sussex County Delaware is fantastic. HVAC stopped working after an electrical storm and it ended up being just clogged pipes. Tom checked over everything and flushed lines with shop vac and poured a commercial chemical down and got the system up and running in no time. The compressor in our heat pump failed during a holiday period in July and also during five days of extreme heat in Ocean City MD. Contacted another HVAC company, they stated it would at least be seven days for repair. Contacted Comfort Experts Heating & Air they obtained the new compressor that day, installed the next day, by early afternoon we had COOL AIR. The technicians were knowledgeable and respectful and did great quality work at a very resonable price. Highly recommend this fine HVAC company. My family does not recommend Blades HVAC. We have a geothermal system that had a slow leak at the…read morecirculation pump. On the pump housing, Blades put a service sticker with their phone number, approximately three inches from where the leak was happening. I thought great, I will call them and they will take care of it. When the service technician came out, he took a look at where the leak was and said that they do not service geothermal loop pumps, and charged me $125 to come say that; he was not even here ten minutes. I told him that I felt that I was being ripped off because I had described where the leak was, and they still sent someone to tell me they don't work on that part. The tech said I could take that up with the office. I called the office to describe that I would leave a critical review because of my experiences with them, and give them a chance to make it right. The guy in the office literally laughed at me and said something to the effect that just because a sticker was on the part doesn't mean they service that exact part. Their four-hour service windows without updates make it difficult to plan when they may be able to come out. Had to reschedule a prior service call because the technician did not come out until about 12:15 when they had given me a window from 8-12. I do not recommend using Blades HVAC.
