Contacted A & A Air Services Inc, as they are the ones who recently installed a geothermal unit in the home we just purchased. I made it clear that water was coming from the ground and our backyard was flooded, Cory said he could send out a tech to diagnose the problem and the fee would be $169.00 for coming out on a Saturday. I mentioned money was tight as we just closed and had unexpected cost at closing, he informed it would only be a $40 difference if we waited until Monday, with the cold weather and no heat, we didn't think $40 was that big of a difference so we said send the tech out. When the tech got here, he walked out back to where the flooding was and immediately said they couldn't help and I needed to contact a well company.
I had another company Service Today come out to give a second opinion, as I did with Cory, I thoroughly explained the issue and asked if they could assist, the receptionist assured me they could. I had them send out a tech and soon as he saw the area he said I had to contact a well company, I mentioned I explained what was happening and he told me to hold on. He contacted the office and had the diagnosis fee waved.
Fast forward to today 2/8/2023 and I get a charge on my credit card from A & A, I call and ask why I am being charged when they knew they couldn't help me from the start. I explained how Service Today handled the situation and I thought they were doing the same as they came out 1/28/23 and hadn't charged. I was told I would get a call back after touching base with the service manager. On the call back I was informed by the receptionist that I insisted on a tech being sent out even though they told me they couldn't help me and that I needed to contact a well company, and which is a lie. The receptionist put me through to Cory who repeated the lie. During a heated convo, I told him he could remove me from their system, after which I remembered they didn't touch base on the second reason I called, informed him my emergency heat wasn't working Cory refused to address, stating I said to be removed from the system. I reminded him they just installed the unit 8/30/22, it was under warranty and I wanted the situation dealt with, he repeated what I said and at that point I lost my cool, due to the childish and unprofessional behavior by both staff members I spoke to.
I also made a post on their Facebook and they deleted and blocked me from their page, they would rather try to hide the situation, than to deal with it. read more
