I Get It Now First time and now I understand why so many comedians love the venue. It's intimate, and the crowds are very fun. Positive energy everywhere. Laughed so much!! Nice selection of beer and some food options. Two item minimal.

As I like to check out comedy clubs in different cities, it was my first time here at the Larimer Square location. I would have taken more pics but they required us to lock up our phones in yondr pouches. I still managed to take a few before and after the show :) I got tickets to see Jay Jurden and he was hilarious! I really appreciated his sense of humor and how he delivered his jokes. The food and service were both great. I got fries with their queso sauce, which was yummy. Inside it was pretty straightforward where the bathrooms and seats were. I'm also attending another show while in town at their Landmark location, and look forward to more laughter therapy.

And you might spend 5-10 minutes in the security line before the show. On site parking costs have increased over the years, and everyone leaving at once creates a backup, I've switched to using apps to park a couple blocks away. I can appreciate they don't want to support scalpers, but the no refunds/no exchanges for single ticket buyers combined with the fact the tickets aren't available until the day of show make it stressful to commit months in advance. This would be easily fixed by having a secondary face-value market and/or allowing same-show exchanges when availability allows.

A City agency, Denver Arts & Venues, manages the overall complex and rents to the Colorado Ballet, Colorado Symphony, Opera Colorado, and others. The Denver Center is now responsible for the Helen G. Bonfils Theatre Complex which includes the Wolf Theatre (640 seats, large thrust stage), the Kilstrom Theatre (380 seats, theater-in-the-round), the Singleton Theatre (233 seats, proscenium), and the Jones Theatre (196 seats, black box). The DCPA also manages the Broadway show schedule at the Buell Theatre (2,830 seats, proscenium) and the Garner Galleria (213 seats, cabaret). A $57 million renovation of the Theatre Complex facilities was completed between 2017 and 2023. This included a total modernization of systems, technology upgrades, a unified central lobby, new elevators, improved ADA access, and many backstage additions. This is a state-of-the-art complex fueled by one of the top professional theater companies in the country. The DCPA is particularly noted for the Colorado New Play Summit which has repeatedly been the genesis of major new work that has become part of the national repertoire. The DCPA runs a major administrative operation with six theaters staging classics, modern, and contemporary works, Broadway shows, and cabaret plus the 10,000 square foot Seawell Ballroom and a number of smaller event venues. A highly-regarded educational operation provides school enrichment programs, professional training for all ages, and opportunities for students to explore careers in all aspects of theater. The DCPA production shops are huge and well-worth a tour. All sets, props, and costumes are designed and built in-house. A large team of technical specialists, scenic artists, costume designers, and prop makers utilize the Scenic, Paint, Prop, Costume, and Wig/Makeup shops to put all the pieces of a production together. Productions here are top professional quality in every aspect. The DCPA is a tremendous resource and offers such a wide variety of theater choices that there is always something for everyone.

Yes, I'm definitely a fan of Cherry Creek Theater!…read more CCT is a relatively new addition to the Denver theater scene, and have just begun their second season of productions. They're so new, in fact, they don't actually have a traditional theater space. They partner with the Shaver-Ramsey rug gallery in Cherry Creek and hold their performances in the large room off to the side of the main showroom. The acoustics are wonderful, and the space works really well. The performance we saw was in-the-round, so there wasn't a bad seat in the place. They don't focus on one specific type of theater - you'll find dramas, comedies, even musicals. I suspect that anything you see will be quite good as they get some of the best acting talent in Denver, and do a solid job with their script selection. The CCT also offers refreshments before the show and during intermission, including wine, most of which seemed to just have a suggested "donation" amount. You are allowed to bring drinks into the theater - yay! They find places around the area (Whole Foods, for example) and bring in pretty decent bites. So, there you go - yet another theater in Denver you perhaps never knew was there. Check it out!

I was pleasantly surprised by how clever, risqué, and funny this show was. We attended the Alice in Wonderland show and it was the perfect mix of sexiness and comedy. We got the VIP seats right up next to the stage, but from looking around, it appears there are very few "bad" seats in the house, maybe a seat or two behind some columns. My friends and I laughed and clapped and cheered. The performances were top notch. The drinks weren't gourmet cocktails, but that's not expected. I got a pretty good sized mule and dark n stormy and my friend's husband enjoyed his many martinis. The performers were kind enough take photos with us at the end of the evening. So down to earth. I also had a great experience with their staff. Early in the year I purchased two tickets in hopes of getting a good table. Then months later, they introduced the VIP tickets right next to the stage. I purchased three of those (I had added two friends by then) and the company was kind enough to refund my two regular tickets. They were very prompt and professional in emails. Regular tickets were 50-ish, VIP tickets were 70-ish. Worth every penny. No photos or videos during the production, but they allow for some photos and video at the end. We saw a burlesque tarot performance. The host was so funny and all the dancers were amazing and so talented! Love the body positivity and the diversity amongst all their dancers (male dancers were included!). They provide fun little noisemakers to use during the dances to cheer them on. They have lots of drink options too and come around to take your order. I got the non-alcoholic Aperol spritz which was a little strange but that's ok haha. Other girls seemed to like their cocktails and wine. The music, the costumes, the dancers, everything was so much better than we expected! So fun!

The show was hilarious, the venue was super clean, and both the audio and views of the stage were excellent. The only reason I'm taking off one star is the seating situation. Some of the floor seating consisted of what looked like basic lawn chairs rather than actual theater seats. For a venue like this, I would have expected something a little more comfortable, especially when paying for floor seats. Other than that, everything was great! Parking was surprisingly easy, with a parking garage conveniently located nearby. When I arrived, there were tons of people entering the theater, so I expected long lines for food and drinks. Surprisingly, the lines moved quickly, the prices were fairly reasonable, and I was able to grab something and make it to my seat without any issues.
