Man when I tell you the line was wrapped around the corner double time!!! This was our first time coming here. Also our first time coming to see Ali in person. We were super excited about the show. We've always watched him on tv. Now let me say I was a lil disappointed in the snack choices; so popcorn was the choice. I live Reese pieces , water and pineapple juice. I don't drink so the alcohol was where it was. The staff was very attentive and trying to fill every order. There were so many people and they were doing their thing. The lines were long but moving quickly. I haven't been in the theater since 2008. So I did not like the seats an how close they were. I felt cramped and crowded.. The restroom was clean and the theater itself was neatly decorated and clean too. The first comedian that opened up was amazingly talented and great!!! He was funny and a principal.. I really enjoyed his and could see him again. He had the crowd cheering and laughing uncontrollably.. support this brother whenever you see him. He's worth the time. The dJ was fire he had the crowd amped up. He was dropping hit after hit getting us prepared for the show. When Ali came to the stage they erupted into applause and cheers. His mannerisms and demeanor were just characteristic and down to earth. He was funny and my side was hurting from all the laughing. We paid for the meet and greet and the line was long but worth the wait. He was so cool in person and love his fans. I would love to come and see him again. read more

I've been here three times now: once for a concert, and twice for movies. It's just not my favorite place. What venue specifically prohibits taking pics and videos? Well, this one. Lots of signs and threats. Pull out your phone, get a warning. Do it again, and they'll kick you out. We were in row AA of the center orchestra. While there's more room than the folding chairs they have in front, I found them still to be hard and uncomfortable. There aren't enough bathrooms, and the men's room was a disaster by the time the movie was over. Location is great, and they offer free parking in the nearby Tremont Garage, although it took us forever to get out of there too. I'd return solely for the event, not because I have any affinity for the venue. read more

We came to see the Nutcracker. There's only a handfulof restrooms so be prepared for long lines. The employees there were extremely cordial and the entrance and exit lines were well coordinated for a speedy process. They asked for cash only at the coat checkout, but card only at the concession stand. We had a great time coming here to watch a show. The theater is very pretty, it's old but still in good condition. but I know it could be much better overall! read more

We love free parking!!! Especially when it comes to down town!! I went here with a few friends for the Taylor Tomlinson comedy show. I've been to this theater before but it was a while ago. My tickets included parking so make sure you park at the Tremont Garage (400 15th st.) you need to show the ticket booth person your tickets and they will give you a voucher for the garage for when you leave that night. It's a quick walk to the theater! When we got there, there was a line to get in but it went quickly! We had to go through security and if you have a bag they will check it. Once inside we had seats on in the balcony section so we went upstairs. There's a concession stand there with a way shorter line! There were bathrooms up there too. The only issue is, there were only three stalls for the women's side. Not sure about the men's but I think they could do with getting a few more toilets installed up there. The prices for concessions were reasonable. Like what you would find at the movie theater, maybe a little cheaper. We got some popcorn. The quality of the popcorn was not the best. A lot of hard popcorn or some popcorn kernels that didn't pop all the way through. Over all it's a nice venue and the show was great! read more

I attended an event at the Paramount last night. I enjoyed the event although the comfortability of my seat was sorta cheap. My view was good but the seat was sorta cheap. The overall feel of the theatre was nice. Paramount has a nice historic feel to it. I love how it's been restored. I was impressed with the architecture marveling at the ceiling. This is a nice venue for events. I found parking at a nearby garage. Also, the line was down to the street corner for the event. Make sure you get to your event early. Plenty of parking options available. I would attend another event here. If you haven't been, check it out sometime. read more

I love this art deco style theater. I have seen Stavros and the High Plains Comedy Fest with Kyle Kinane in the past and sat in both the upper and lower sections. Both seats were great I could see and hear it all. This is definitely not a new theater but I appreciate the older style and deco flair. Bathrooms are in the basement so might not be ideal for those with physical accessibility limitations. They have a full bar and snacks which are priced pretty much in line with other venues. There are a lot of dining options nearby and parking was comped for us with tickets. read more

Wow! What a great experience! The Paramount staff did a wonderful job welcoming a sold out sized crowd for the Rebecca Yarros Onyx Storm tour! The theatre itself is full of charm and reminds me so much of our hometown theatre -- the Memphis Orpheum! I felt right at home here!!! All the staff I interacted with were welcoming and kind. Came to see comedian Henry Cho. The theatre has so much history and the building is beautiful. The balcony has its own staircase and is not connected to the main seating area. The concessions are in the lobby making it convenient but also crowded since it is a small space. The servers were nice. Restrooms on the lower level were interesting. The women's restroom has a sitting room where you can relax. And there's a curtained opening which said public phone. Should have looked behind it to see if there was an old phone in the alcove. Supposedly there was a restroom upstairs as well. The seats in the orchestra level were close to the stage. I was really pleased with the location of our seats for the price we paid. It felt intimate. I liked that there was parking provided with the tickets. And it was only a couple of blocks away from the Paramount. There were stanchions showing us where to queue as well as ushers. We went through a metal detector at the end. It was handy to have the tickets in my wallet and also available on the Ticketmaster app. Easier than the paper tickets but not as nostalgic. It's nice to be able to scrapbook the tickets. The sound was good inside and we could hear pretty well. The decor was lovely. I would attend another event here. Tip - you get a qr code to pay for the parking as you walk out of the parking garage if an attendant is there. read more

I love how intimate this theater is (less than 2,000 seats)! Every seat is basically a good one. I'm not sure about parking as I stayed in a close by, walkable hotel to make things easier. About the Paramount itself, be prepared for lines going to the restroom and inside. Depending on the event the food/mech line will vary. It was fast when I went, and the gentleman at the concession stand was beyond kind and friendly. The sound was perfect and loud. I went for a Jon Anderson concert. Concert earbuds were almost needed. Most/if not all of the 100-year-old paintings and decor here are original. The only downside is if you are a wider, you will be a tad uncomfortable. The seats are close together, and you will be touching the person next to you. Only complaint is that they only sell Aquafina water. We attended The Nutcracker recently, and while the performance itself was lovely, our experience during intermission was deeply disappointing and concerning. My daughter is 4 years old and has Type 1 diabetes, which is a condition protected under the ADA. Due to the excitement of the show and snacks, her blood sugar was running high--something that causes an urgent need to urinate. During intermission, the regular bathroom lines were extremely long, and we were quickly approaching an accident. To avoid that, I took her to the ADA bathroom. At the entrance, a staff member stopped us and told us we were not allowed to use it. I explained--more than once--that my daughter is diabetic and urgently needed the restroom due to high blood sugars. He continued to insist we use a different bathroom. I had to remind him that not all disabilities are visible, and that he should not be policing ADA bathroom use. I ultimately felt pressured to show my daughter's Dexcom glucose monitor to prove her medical condition before he "allowed" us to proceed. No parent should ever have to disclose their child's private medical information just to let them use a restroom--especially during a medical situation that is time-sensitive and stressful for a young child. This experience took what should have been a magical evening and turned it into a moment of fear, embarrassment, and frustration. I sincerely hope the theater provides better ADA training for staff so that families with invisible disabilities are treated with the dignity, trust, and respect they deserve. read more

Honestly one of the greatest perks of paramount is the complimentary parking at the garage. Getting out of the garage is a hassle - we were stuck in the garage for over 40 minutes without moving. I guess you get what you paid for since it was free. The theatre must have been really nice when it first opened. The venue reminds me of what I imagine the theatre would've looked back in the day. However it is outdated. The bathrooms have 3 stalls so the line for the women's bathroom can be long. The hooks are missing so you can't hang your bag. The women's bathroom had one working sink and one soap dispenser with soap. The seats are small without much wiggle room. The seats are nicely elevated so we saw everything despite being in the mezzanine. read more

We saw Dane Cook's comedy show at the Paramount Theater. The line to get into the venue was quick and efficient. The venue itself is classy and easy to navigate. The staff who worked there were friendly and helped direct us to our seats. The seats were comfortable, and the theater was clean. We bought drinks (a non-alcoholic beverage for me, and an alcoholic beverage for my friend), and the bartender did a good job, with little waiting time. Paramount has an old, homey feel to it. I love that you have a fairly clear view of the stage pretty much anywhere you sit and that the acoustics are good. I didn't love that on a frigid day in January, they made people wait outside to get in. Everyone had assigned seats, so I didn't really understand why it took so long to get in. I guess because it's a small venue, but still... It was freezing outside! The concession lines are very slow, the concessions themselves are expensive (of course), and the hot chocolate was only ok, even with the added expensive shot of whiskey. Both times I've been to a show at this theatre they were well done. I have no complaints about the sound or lighting. The seats are small, not super comfortable, and very close together. I've been to worse, I've been to better. Overall, it's a nice, vintage theater. read more

It had been a long time since I've been to the Paramount, but I had so much fun last night! I don't know why I waited so long between shows there. First of all, we biked downtown and then walked down the mall so we had no issues with parking, although I do understand they have a free parking garage. We also skipped the bar as we had just finished a bottle of wine with dinner. The bathroom situation (especially upstairs) isn't great. They don't have a lot of a lot of stalls so there can be lines and that stinks- so plan ahead. The floor in the downstairs bathroom got really treacherous when it was wet, which was probably pretty early into the night based on the proximity of sink to hand dryers. The building itself is really old and beautiful. It was really fun to walk around and look at different acts who have been there in the past 20 years or so. The sound was great too- all in all a very enjoyable experience! read more

If the walls could talk, pretty sure the stories would hold great laughs and superior memories. Well, the photos on the wall do the speaking and it is proof The Paramount has history. The rich, ornate details in the woodwork, the neon signs, the photos of concerts and comedy shows of the past all make for great conversation. It is evident that the auditorium was built in the early 1900's as the seats are small and the murals very Harlequin-esque. We had an enjoyable evening with a showing of The Princess Bride, followed by a Q&A seasion with Cary Elwes (aka Westley) Mr.Elwes is great at mimicry, story telling, and comedy. What a pleasant evening and even more fantastic was our M&G. We were there in large numbers and Mr. Elwes took time to talk to each person, sharing introductions and stories well up to midnight. WOW!!! The event was 5star. The Paramount could use some help. The seating is uncomfortable, the ladies room was not well supplied and the bar had verh limited options for refreshments. No warm drinks and only popcorn was on hand for snacks. Plus side....The staff was very friendly and security/check in was speedy. read more

Upon arrival there was a line out the door for tickets but to our suprise the line moved very quickly which we were grateful for because it was VERY cold outside. Staff informed us videos and photos were allowed without flash. There was security as well as police presence upon entry. Refreshments and snacks were sold in the lobby. Though they were a bit distracting in the theatre throughout the show as we had refreshments spilled on us from the patrons behind us and constant crunching of popcorn. The theatre itself is truly beautiful and our seats in the balcony were just as we expected. Staff was friendly in greeting us and helping find seating. I did not use the restrooms as the lines were always long but that is to be expected during a full house and great show. I parked in the parking garage near 18th street and paid about $9 upon exiting so hope to find a better parking deal for the next show I attend. read more

The Paramount is a beautiful old theatre in the heart of downtown Denver. What I really liked was the parking situation. It was about 2 blocks away, if that, and an attendant handed you a QR code to add to your parking ticket so while you were exiting parking was free. You just had to tell the attendant you were seeing a show at the paramount. I saw numerous people passing this guy up and after exciting they had to pay. Don't pass up the QR code guy! We had seats in K row, which was really close to the stage, only thing was the seats were the padded fold up metal chairs which can be removed. I mean as a larger gal this is a doh me edged sword, it's nice to move a little bit from your neighbor but the padding is not enough and gets hard on your body after a few minutes. But it was fine for the 2 hours we were there. I loved the old feel of the place, I would go again! read more

I really enjoy this venue! I love the history of it, on display via photos and some signs in the basement with the bathrooms. There's bathrooms on the top floor and the bottom floor, but the bottom floor bathrooms are significantly bigger. I adore all the chandeliers, and the decor throughout the auditorium. This is one of the few venues that allow you to bring reusable water bottles in and have water refill stations, so take advantage of that. Water bottles are $6 and a single liquor drink is $13, but if you get a double it's $18. There's free parking for shows at the parking garage off of 15th and Tremont (it has a yellow, blue and red parking sign and will have a parking attendant out front). Pretty much every seat gives you a good view, so don't be afraid of the nosebleed section. The seats are a little older and not super comfortable, but so it goes. Overall, one of my favorite venues in Denver! read more

I had never been to the theatre before and it was so cool to google and learn about the history! This establishment has been around since 1930 and it's amazing that it survived the pandemic and we were able to visit. The interior and exterior are impressive. Now on to the cons: being that it's older there's only one way in or out, so it takes a bit and bottlenecks. The seats are small, so if you're a normal sized human it's snug. Plus they may not have been renovated/updated in a little (while that's cool for the nostalgia and originality) I was a little nervous my seat would break. And boy was it hot! Ahhh, The Paramount. What used to be a movie theater is now home to live entertainment. Concerts, comedians, podcasts and more. Right next to the 16th Street Mall lies the beautiful, old timey Paramount Theatre. Oh, to attend this place back in the day would've been magical. From the marquee to the original stairs to the elegant design, this is an homage to the past while enjoying a show in the present. Make sure to browse all three levels and see some of the artists who've played here in the past. Parking is included with your ticket at the Tremont garage. There's no re-entry, so if you park at a meter, well you're SOL. Although, there is a smoking section if you're a smoker. It opens when the show starts. Get here early. On days when it's a sold out show the lines wrap around the block and it can be a bit of a wait getting inside. Restrooms are upstairs or downstairs, but if you have mobility problems there's a hidden restroom on the main floor in the back. There are two bars, one on the main floor and upstairs. Plan on expensive venue prices. Coat check is upstairs as well. As far as seating goes, anywhere in the house is a good spot as the venue is more intimate. Upstairs, the mezzanine and balcony have more inclined seating so you can see better, whereas the orchestra seating on the main level is pretty level and may be harder to see. Leg room is pretty nonexistant but should only be a problem if you're super tall. All in all, it's always a pleasure to see a show at The Paramount Theatre and makes for a fun night out. read more

The check-in process was soooooo smooth compared to 3 years ago. There were 4 lines to get through security, they were so nice, the lines for drinks and snacks also went very quickly, and the whole process was seamless compared to the last time we were here! Love the bathrooms here- so neat the way they are designed and so clean. The theatre is just beautiful, stunning, and the acoustics were great! Cute old theater on the -6th street mall. Saw Neil deGrasse Tyson. Pretty small with lots of good food and parking nearby. Complimentary parking at the tremont for theater patrons! My hubs is 6'2 so we got the club level seats in hope of comfort. Alas, my hubs was squished. I was fine but I'm 5'4. Good selection of beverages and snacks. read more

I paid top dollar to see the Nutcracker in the gold circle section and I saw a second rate show with kids and starved ballerinas!! There was absolutely no leg room. The seats we old folding chairs. It was ridiculous. There was no orchestra, no snowflakes falling from the ceiling, just the changing of stupid curtains which was supposed to suffice for the prices I paid. The whole thing was second rate at best. The ballerinas were so thin I was afraid their ligaments would rip off their bones with one wrong move. Clara was old and didn't fit the part as the other ballerinas didn't either. I was extremely disappointed. The staff looked dirty and rough. Overall I was not impressed and I will not be back again. I will spend good money on good things but I felt taken advantage of on this one. If you are going to have children performing charge children prices or at least disclose what is going to happen. read more

Went here for a standup show and it's a cute older theater! The seats aren't the most comfy but that's what to expect at a theater like this. There's a snack bar in the front that serves alcohol. There's a decent amount of restaurants/bars around it if you want to pick up a bite or drink before the show. Pro Tip: Get there at least 30 mins early because the theater is smaller and it takes a while to get through security and get your seat. read more

The folks at the Paramount Theater were amazing at the My Brother My Brother and Me show when my friend was ill in the bathroom almost the entire time. They not only provided her with more water, but also helped walk her to my car by the parking lot and made sure she got there safe. They were angels and I am very thankful for their help. read more
