Food was great and the service was fast and friendly with a great atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Nice little cozy place that serves country comfort food like it's from mama's kitchen. Everything was delicious and flavorful.

This is a great little place for breakfast. I went in on Friday March 15, 2024 at about 11:15am for some late breakfast (they serve breakfast all day). It's a walk up counter to order. I had one of the "mamas specials" of eggs, bacon, cheese grits and biscuit. The eggs over medium were perfect, the bacon was good and cheese grits were perfectly thick. The biscuit was fresh and excellent. Great atmosphere with plenty of sitting room and parking. Very convenient location. All staff were polite and professional.

Dined in for lunch. It was pretty good. What you would expect of an old school diner. The employees were super nice and friendly. My son ordered a pancake, hasbrowns and bacon. They brought him a container of Mr Butterworth's syrup. Brought back memories of my childhood. :). I had the Gyro plate. The gyro meat had a great flavor. The tzatziki sauce was tasty. The only draw back was the onions. They were super hot and intense. I love fresh onions, but they were too much for me. It was busy Friday lunch, but the food was coming out of the kitchen quickly. The decor of the restaurant was very welcoming.

First time visit and I will be back. The food is on point for Southern cuisine. The livers were very tender and the sweet potato casserole had apples in it. Delicious! Meat loaf was also good but the creamed corn was the bomb. Menu has many choices and breakfast is served all day. Restaurant was simple and clean staff very attentive and friendly.

I have passed this restaurant for about six years and finally stopped in. This restaurant is very quaint and has lots of seating, although there were dew patrons here when I visited. Upon arrival, you need to go to the cashier to place your order just like a fast food restaurant. They served breakfast all day as well as lunch and dinner. I ordered an omelet as that is my standard breakfast order and how I judge breakfast establishments. The omelet arrived in what looked like a paper plate, but it was actually a normal replica plate. The omelet was larger than I expected and quite good. Overall I enjoyed the experience, and I intend to come back.

Vanessa was our waitress and she was so, so sweet and absolutely wonderful. They were so busy, but the staff was so great throughout it all. An ode to the Breakfast Tasting ($19), which each of us got. It came with your choice of pancake, waffle, or french toast, so we got to try them all. We got 2 of the pancakes and that was the move because the pancakes were the best out of the 3. Note that the pancakes aren't your typical fluffy and sweet pancakes. They were crispy and definitely not as sweet, but add the syrup and homemade jam and they were *~*chef's kiss*~*. The Breakfast Tasting was literally everything I've ever wanted in a brunch at a restaurant. I always want to sample a bit of everything, but I usually have to be strategic about ordering with a group of people, where everyone gets something different and then we get to taste each other's. We didn't have to do that at Season! Literally everything on the tasting plate was incredible--eggs (we all added cheese), bacon, sausage (a patty, not a link, which I liked!), biscuit, grits (we all added cheese), colcannon fritter, avocado, fruit, yogurt with granola. So much food, we all had leftovers. I also got the Iced Chai Latte ($6) and it was soo good. The spiced caramel cold foam?! OMG, amazing. I cannot wait to be back and try more, but it'll be really hard to not order the Breakfast Tasting.

Listen, I usually keep my "hidden gems" locked in the vault because once the brunch crowd finds…read moreout, it's game over. But my spirit was led to share. I swung by Season on a Thursday late morning - trying to beat the weekend warriors - and let me tell you, the ancestors were smiling on me because I got sat immediately. The space is that perfect small-to-medium sweet spot. It's cozy but doesn't feel like you're sitting in the next person's lap. They've got indoor and outdoor seating, and while I could see a line forming fast on a Saturday, the flow was smooth. It's got that "if you know, you know" energy that I appreciate. I started with a freshly squeezed OJ. Simple, right? Wrong. This wasn't that watered-down carton stuff; it was crisp, vibrant, and felt like a hug for my immune system. For the main event, I went with the Tamale Huevos Rancheros. These were two handmade chicken tamales topped with eggs - I requested mine fried hard, because runny yolks are a bridge too far for me - along with house-made salsa, crema, avocado, and bacon. The flavor profile was elite. The tamales were authentic and seasoned to perfection, with a soulfulness that reminded me why I love a well-executed fusion dish. BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE! I couldn't just stop there, so I added a Maduro buttermilk pancake and the cheddar grits to the order. Let's talk about these grits for a second. These are hands down some of the best I've ever had. No exaggeration. They were creamy, sharp, and seasoned like the chef actually likes the people they're cooking for. Even the pancake was a revelation - it was very unique and stood out from the standard "flat and sugary" situation you get at most spots. If you're looking for a spot that actually delivers on the hype without the pretentious atmosphere, this is it. It's the kind of meal that makes you want to go home and take a nap, but also call your parents and tell them you're eating well. I'll be back, just please don't take my seat when I do.

And, $50 later I am scratching my head why didn't we pay half that nearby at place that specializes in waffles... We entered the restaurant and there was seating near what we thought was the hostess stand while you waited for the table. We spoke to the person at the stand and she said "you'll have to wait, I am in training". Well, turns out that wasn't the check in space because we should have spoken to that person who was waving an iPad and not very happy. As we navigated the narrow spot away from the waiting area, there were people coming in the front door waiting to get a table, pick up drivers trying to get to the stand, people looking for their friends already seated and the waiting people. This giant clump of people stepping on each other. I just think there must have been several meetings about the layout of the concept restaurant by people who have degrees in planning and design but no one took notes. I could include more about the lack of thoughtful architecture that would include the kitchen, the POS machine near a refill station, and the bathrooms but I will move on. Our server was not existent and just a slight step up on pleasant than the woman with the iPad. I requested that my entree items be served separately and while it did come out of the kitchen that way, her grimace and body language indicated it was the most difficult request that could be made. This was my first and last time trying to First Watch. It was an unpleasant experience. Topped off by the server leaving the bill BUT in order to pay, one must navigate the cluster of humanity at the front door. Who thought of that disaster of a system?
