It's been a frustrating process weaning my folks off cable. We're here to turn in the equipment and take them to the app wireless world. Well, sorta. It's been an adventure. Today we turned in equipment and will save my Dad $65 a month on his Bill. We picked up new cable boxes for a few rooms in their house. My goal is to turn these boxes in eventually, too. This location has a private parking lot and plenty of parking available. When you walk in there is a sign that says take a number with a number machine and a large sitting waiting area. There is also an atm like machine where you can pay your bill. The lobby also offers of course "free cable tv watching." However, the downfall is the wait! I waited over an hour to return some boxes. This is insane. When I was finally called to the counter, the service agent that was assisting me was not even familiar with the system and had to keep asking others for support. In my opinion, this company is a ripoff and you have to want to go extreme like stream and buy your own modem/router to break even. read more

I am sooo angry with the piss poor service I received in my recent phone calls to pay my bill for $71.61. After the frustration from the automated system not getting my information correct numerous times to being transferred to people who could not help me due to the system being down I was unable to get my bill paid. People think twice before using xfinity I would not recommend this company to anyone and I will be filing a complaint with either the Attorney General or my local Senator . read more

The small female veteran who was assaulted by xfinity employee Clyde Smith seen in the photos surrounded by police was not able to sleep still. She is being taken for medical attention as her spine and back received injuries so severe from the large male that the pain did not even allow her to eat today. She received a call from corporate Bob Gleason along with an unidentifiable female. Both parties proceeded to victim shame the injured veteran and attempted to get her to say on a recorded line things that didn't happen. When they couldn't get what they wanted from her the pair hung up on her. This is how a wounded veteran spent Veterans Day. We have reached thousands with what has happened. Xfinity has no honor and thinks those of us that have served this country are worthless. If you are a veteran we all need to take a stand to these corporate tyrants. Xfinity disrespects those who served and employs men who are woman beaters. Clyde Smith was made well aware prior to the attack that the small female wasn't even capable of leaving the house as she had been in and out of the hospital for a year and she even showed him the bandages on her arm. He was in full knowledge when he struck her twice in the face that she was disabled and in extremely poor health and in pain. Yet he did it regardless. He also caused property damage to her house. If I could give negative stars I would. Simply appalled at this company and their consistent and insatiable desire for greed. I set my parents up with a basic cable, internet, phone package back in December. Already a stretch on their retirement income but we argued to $137 per month. Without our consent, they added HBO and of all things a Kareoke channel for another $35 per month. My parents are 81 and don't even know what karaeoke is. Their bill sky rocketed. I called to complain and they are going to credit us but their business practices are simply appalling. DONT USE COMCAST! Direct TV us far better. read more

I'm not sure where the customer service is located, but I'm sure that it's somewhere in Chicago, not necessarily this location. I've been on the phone, on hold, for it was supposed to only be 6 minutes. Now 15 minutes has passed as I am awaiting a supervisor to answer the call. I guess they may be binge-watching between calls! I have been without phone service for over a month, going on two months. Now the supervisor gets on the phone but now it's MY FAULT that my phone service is NOT WORKING due to an OUTAGE on COMCAST side! For this inconvenience of loss of service, they are giving me $10.39 (based on their calculator from Toys R Us)! I will just cancel my phone and use my cell phone instead! read more

One of the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever had in my entire life!!! We moved here from Texas in December 2015. When we bought the house, the previous owner left us all the services she had in the home. Comcast Xfinity was the service provider she had in the home for cable tv and Internet. To this day, end of January, COMCAST is still unable to keep their appointments and set us up with the service they provide EVEN when the previous owner had the exact same service here in this house. EVERY TIME WE CALL it's a different answer or reason. When they set up appointments, NO ONE SHOWS UP and no one calls to cancel the appointments. The numerous hours spent on the phone talking with customer service are worthless. They DON'T KNOW or have ANY EXPLANATIONS why they can't come out. Had an appointment set up for today after a whole 3 weeks time & we didn't get a call to confirm like they said they would the day before coming out so we call. "Oh, they aren't going to make it out today". First they say they couldn't do it because there was no line leading to the house, when in fact the previous owner had cable and Internet. Then someone came by about 3 weeks ago to set up but only brought one cable box as their appointment only requested that one box and it was for Internet only. Then another person came by to see what the problem was. They looked and checked the lines and said, "Oh yeah, you do have line service here already". Hmm surprise surprise idiots. Well you have to call in an appointment for all the other boxes. So we already had one set up so we will keep it but yet they somehow cancelled it, just like the other two appointments. NO ONE CAN GIVE US AN ANSWER WHY THEY CANT JUST KEEP OUR APPOINTMENTS and SET US UP! THEY ARE PATHETIC!!! They are the only provider who can service our home otherwise we'd go with someone else. But that's the reason they're being the douchbags they want to be because it's them or nothing! read more

Comcast sucks,, big time. I've been robbed way too many times with these people. Here's the situation, my cable was disconnected in 2015 for a pass due balance of 376$. They send me a settlement offer of only 300$ to restore my service. So first month bill come and I pay it in full, a week later my service was interrupted. Wow. Call these uneducated customer service reps who act like they are the ones that frustrated with the call.. now they say you owe a balance of 76$ from your previous bill, umm hello doesn't settlement mean that it's settled? Xfinity / Comcast is the worst provider in the country! They raise rates collect excessive taxes that increase your bill with out notice and then give you all kinds of excuses as to why! I think a class action lawsuit needs to be filed to stop them from bleeding the public, especially when they are the only choice. I was told I wouldn't get any increases for the two years of my contract but now I am getting equipment charges and added taxes. Sure wish I could cancel with a half baked excuse like they increase with half baked excuses. Wish they could be rated a negative 10. read more

Does not even deserve one star. I agree with another review by Karon H. We were told how much we would be saving if we agreed to a 2 year Bundle Contract, which included our landline phone, cable and internet with no increase at all for 2 years, but if we "broke" the contract, would owe hundreds of dollars to them. Unexpected increases as noted with excessive taxes and also, we too are getting equipment charges and taxes on that too which was never explained to us as "why". So in the meantime, phone calls are not helpful, as the representatives talk in circles with their pre-written excuses and they talk extremely fast, even when you ask them to slow down. When you ask for a manager, I was told that the manager would only repeat what he/she said. For the last 4 months, since we have a "bundle", we lose our phone, internet and cable at least twice weekly! Insane and we would never ever recommend Xfinity Comcast to anyone and of course, never ever do a "bundle" with a company. read more
