I brought the computer to Best Buy and I have to say the gentleman there was very helpful. He explained that I would have to purchase my battery since Best Buy didn't carry it . But once I had it , they would be happy to install the battery.....if I leave it there for 3 days. I am not willing to install it myself but when it arrived , I realized I did not feel comfortable leaving my computer there for that long. So , I searched for an alternative. I noticed that DPC had very high ratings so I took a chance , called and asked if I could get this done within one day. Yes, was the answer , as long as I brought it in the morning. So, I did. Just after opening, I arrived with "the patient" and the battery. The gentleman there told me to stay there and wait because it could be done very quickly. Excellent ! And it was done in less than 1/2 hour, for a very reasonable price . I didn't have to leave it for 3 days. (for a battery?) Sorry Best Buy. If repairs arise again, I know where I will go from now on.

He blamed it on the software, which he shouldn't have used in the first place, and then on the computer being too old. As a last result, we called the company we bought it from and FaceTimed the problem and fixed it ourselves the right way, now it works fine.
