Computer Solutions recommended and installed Zorin -- a Linux based alternative to Windows or Mac-OS. Zorin is absolutely far exceeding all our expectations. We are so thankful to Computer Solutions for recommending and installing it and saving our prized computer. My wife and I took her refurbished computer, which we recently purchased, and she wanted to transfer the old photo from her old computer to the newer one. The so-called tech person worked on the job for several days and charged 135 dollars before the job was completed. During this process, he reinstalled, screwed up, and just about junked her computer, voiding the warranty as a result. He blamed it on the software, which he shouldn't have used in the first place, and then on the computer being too old. As a last result, we called the company we bought it from and FaceTimed the problem and fixed it ourselves the right way, now it works fine. I've been here a few times. Each time they were able to troubleshoot and give me an explanation. Most recently my adult child had an issue with his PC so I suggested Computer Solutions. He dropped it off and in 2 days they had an answer and repaired it for him. They also offered a 30 day warranty which we did put to use. We took our computer in to have the screen repaired. In the process they cracked our screen. Yes, they of course offered to fix it, but they first ordered the wrong part delaying it even more. Start to finish, they had our computer approximately a month. It was frustrating as I am in graduate school and needed my computer back at the start of my class. They gave me my computer back to use with the cracked screen that they caused while waiting for the part to come in, but first I was u able to connect to the internet due to something they had disconnected behind the screen. GeekSquad tried to troubleshoot it but was unable to. Then, after taking it back to them they quickly fixed it and gave it back while waiting for the part. However, while trying to take a quiz, the crack that they caused was causing my screen to repeatedly jump throughout the timed quiz I can only take once. My husband called the manager and got nowhere with her. Yes, they did ultimately fix the problem and the mistakes they made, but they do not value their customers time. This was not customer service. We like to try to go to the little guy, but next time we'll go to Geek Squad. read more

Did not resolve issues on computer. Damaged a part due to not properly removing it, and made customer responsible for replacing it with another one.Took several weeks to communicate after damaging a part they removed. Not customer friendly by putting off responsibility onto customer by not owning their own mistakes and inability to fix a problem. Poor communicators by not being on the ball of communicating with the customer to expedite the process. Ruined the work they did after returning to them with the computer and finding out something wasn't working after the fact. Made excuses for themselves by blaming the customer for something they were responsible for on a few occasions. Definitely doesn't have a philosophy of the customer is always right. Went in with a laptop that went from working perfectly to not being able to read the hard drive with one battery outage. I only wanted to get the data off the hard drives so I could send it in for a warranty repair but they went the extra mile - one employee brought in his computer from home so I could connect my SSD to it and try to get data off of it and the other actually managed to fix the problem and restore my laptop to perfect working order. 10/10, and this isn't the first time we've done business with them. read more
