I tried the xfinity assitant online several times this week. It is simply a run-around game without the luxury of actually speaking to a person. The responses are always the same of 3 of 4 choices that is provided to any questions asked. I have xfinity at 2 properties, in different states and the service provided has been awful for 2-years at both. I will be cancelling my service as soon as possible. read more

Very rude and unprofessional. I walk up to the window and say good morning. He doesn't say anything. I then explain that I am here to exchange my defective equipment. He responds in a rude way, "Take it out the bag." It was too early for the attitude. If you don't like your job then find another one, but don't take it out on me. I decided to try this one out since it was closer to home, but I'll be driving further to another one next time. Comcast has the reputation for poor customer service. This satellite office for Bowie residents verifies their lousy reputation. I came in to turn in some cable equipment. Apparently, the lady behind the caged area, was visibly upset that I interrupted her viewing of the Ellen show. After making me wait, where no other customers were around and where she wasn't doing anything, she barked her orders to me in a hostile way. After I got my receipt, I couldn't find the items I returned and she, in the same hostile manner, told me to go away. I was happy to go away from her. Thank you Comcast for your continued crappy service. I can't wait to move from here so I don't have to deal with you guys anymore. read more

Cable TV goes in and out of service. Comcast had installed the modem and TV box. After the service kept going in and out, I called. When Comcast offered to send a technician, I was told that I may or may not have to pay for the technician which was unacceptable as I did not create the issue. The worst! read more

I wish I could give negative stars. Absolutely the worst. No WiFi for a month. Countless hours on the phone. Hard to talk to a real person. Multiple no show appointments. Holes drilled in walls. Follow on work orders not submitted (over and over). Cable laying across the driveway. Continuous apologies and assurances that "we will get it fixed tomorrow." Contractors, subcontractors...to navigate the layers of irresponsibility is ludicrous. Like being held hostage over TV and WiFi. Absolutely crazy and I'm a normal person....DO NOT GO WITH XFINITY!!!!you will never speak with someone who can help you. Believe me, we tried. Literally wrote down every phone call or visit. This review is for Comcast service in the Bowie area, not necessarily this local facility. I would not recommend Comcast. I had Comcast internet service for 1.5 years. When my Xfinity internet slowed to nearly non-operational, the only solution they offered was an upgrade. Two weeks later when the upgrade failed to resolve my problem and I cancelled Comcast and switched to Verizon it took no less than 3 weeks and 5 phone calls to actually cancel my service and stop receiving bills for service I wasn't receiving. One of the calls I waited for about 15 minutes just for them to tell me their systems were down (at 3pm for a scheduled upgrade...ridiculous timing.) Now more than a month later they send me a letter telling me they can't refund my credit because I haven't returned their modem...which I never rented from them so of course don't have! read more

Had a cable box go out few weeks ago figure I'd have take it in and they ask me a million questions but they just exchanged it in and out in no time. Little weird location being what seemed to be in a old school. Been with Comcast for past 2 years in my personal house and 22 years in my parents house. read more
