When our home's sound system stopped working, I reached out to PowerHouseAV and spoke with Matt, the COO. From the very beginning, Matt was incredibly attentive, responsive, and helpful. He quickly arranged for John, one of their technicians, to come out to our home and diagnose the issue. John was outstanding! He was professional, knowledgeable, patient, and extremely thorough in his assessment. After identifying the problem, he walked us through our options and helped us transition to a new Sonos system that better suited our needs. John returned for a second visit to properly install and configure everything. Once the installation was complete, he took the time to walk through the entire house with us, testing each speaker and ensuring everything was functioning exactly as it should. This install was for a training room at a Fire Station, and this was a project that Aomed felt strongly about. We worked together for the next few months on the equipment options and installation schedule. Despite our limited budget Aomed worked with us to maximize what we were getting, while giving us a great deal. Communication is a bit on the slow side, but the result exceeded our expectations and we now have a very nice AV setup thanks to Aomed and his team.

The first thing of note was how good Patrick's quote was when he sent it to me. His pricing was fair, and his detail and thorough approach to making a proposal were top notch. Everything was in it...including diagrams and photos. He does a complete breakdown of labor and hardware costs so you can tell what you are getting for your money. If, like me, you are providing the cameras or NVR, he helps you understand where your part ends and his begins. He also was very quick to get back to me and keep in contact as I was making my decision between him an other vendors. In the end, obviously I went with Patrick...and his price was not the lowest in fact. His professionalism was what tilted me in his direction. We made a few adjustments to the proposal so by the time he came in, there were almost no details left to work out. That is always a good sign. I'm very glad I made that decision. I have to agree, his work is outstanding. I reached out to Rubin by calling and leaving a message. He returned my call promptly and we went over what I required. He arrived at my home ready to work! Very professional and knowledgeable about all things techy! Making an appointment was also a breeze. I told him what I was interested in and we went from there. All of this occurred, prior to him coming to my home. Inquire about your prices when calling, but I find him to be pretty reasonable. The first time I called him to my home, the job was kind of substantial. He had to take down my old tv, mount the new tv, set up the bass, and surround sound. If he doesn't have the type of device you need for the installation, he'll make suggestions on where to purchase them prior to your appointment. Both times he asked me about items that I knew I wouldn't have, but he always keeps things on his work truck, so he's not running out on the job. The second time I had him stop-by, he had to mount 2 other tv's, set up surround system in another room and a few extras I needed done. Everything worked out perfectly and I was soon enjoying my tv's and the extra perks that came with it. Never any doubt that if I require any tv's/techy things that need to be handled within my home, I'm calling Rubin to assist. No job is too big or small for him to tackle. We picked a date/time and asked for (1) Flat Mount and (1) Swing Mount and they had the parts at a reasonable price. Constant communication up to arrival, which was great. Marcus arrived in a company vehicle with all his equipment and the two mounts. Marcus was awesome, he slipped on shoe covers before going upstairs. We showed him what we wanted and he went to work. I told him that if he needed help to mount the TVs once he placed the mounts on the wall to give me a shout. I went downstairs, and barely heard him working. He worked so quietly that my nervous pup didn't even bark or get anxious. Marcus worked fast, told me he was done, and he had the TVs mounted on the wall. The swing arm mount is perfectly placed and moves smoothly. It is just what I envisioned and hoped for and no mess. Marcus gave us the different payment options, price was as quoted with no changes. Marcus told us to call if any issues. I highly recommend Marcus & TV Geeks !!!

I hired Monica in December 2024 to install: 28 security cameras A sound intercom system with 18 speakers 5 access control pads integrated with the fire alarm system As for the security cameras, she agreed to install 28 after reviewing my architectural plans but only installed 16--and did so carelessly. Wires were left hanging, ceiling tiles were damaged with large holes, and I was never given access to the security system, while she retained full access and was apparently monitoring the premises without authorization. The cameras themselves were cheap, low-quality models from Amazon (under $50 each)--completely unsuitable for a commercial setting, despite charging me for a professional setup. I paid her the full contract amount for this portion, and she has yet to complete the job or give me access to recorded footage. Despite paying her half of the contract amount upfront, she never delivered or installed a single access control pad. Even worse, she had no clue how to connect them to the fire alarm system--something that should have been fundamental to her scope of work. I had to bring in my fire alarm vendor and general contractor to explain to her how to do her own job. Still, nothing got done. Regarding the sound intercom system, she was supposed to install 18 ceiling-mounted speakers. Instead, she purchased cheap desktop speakers (less than $30 each) from Amazon, dumped them on the floor, and suggested installing wall shelves to mount them near the ceiling--completely unprofessional and unusable for a public facility. Meanwhile, she continued demanding more money and delayed my entire project by over five months--from December 2024 to May 2025--causing serious disruption and financial loss. To make matters worse, she repeatedly entered the property without my knowledge or permission, even after I explicitly told her not to. She frequently asked the building's front desk for access, showing a complete lack of respect for boundaries and professionalism. Monica Escala has shown a complete lack of expertise, ethics, and professionalism. She overpromises, underdelivers, delays critical projects, uses substandard materials, and ignores basic contractual obligations. In my experience, this was nothing short of a scam.
