AMAZING Customer service, quick response time, honest, polite, professional, and most of all best prices by far. I called this morning as was greeted by his wife who answers the company phone I a professional manner. She listens to my issues and informs me that her husband can address all of my concerns and that is exactly what he did. He came in the estimated time window, performed all duties, and also did some reinforcing to reinsure the safety of our home. We feel much safer now in our new home thanks to the wonderful people at Combination Lock and Key! We will recommend them to anyone with locksmith needs. Thank you again. read more

We set up an appointment for lock change and Shawn Beard arrived at the property at least 15-20 minutes early. It was an eviction case and the tenant was in the process of moving out. And Shawn patiently waited for quite a whole until he could get the job done which was very professional and for a very reasonable price. Both he and his wife Esther were very helpful, offering also referral to his realtor friend who came and provided further information. I highly recommend Shawn for his very professional services. read more

Great local business! We recently purchased a new home and needed all the locks changed. Esther was highly responsive and worked with me to get an appointment setup quickly, within 24 hours. Shawn was able to come a little earlier and had all the locks changed and keyed in a timely manner. He was very professional, pleasant, and did a great job. We will definitely make them our go to locksmith any time we need work like this done. read more

Wow. Esther is amazing. I called her and she made arrangements to meet up tmrw. However another company I called before her called back and could accommodate me today so I called and left voicemail cancelling their service. Wouldn't you know Esther called me back saying she appreciated the call and was glad I could get help today. Wow, they'll def get my business when next I need help or if this company doesn't work out today. read more

My Uncle passed away and we needed to open his safe to look for a will. He had a scrap of paper with a bunch of random numbers on it. We were told the safe could be drilled open which we were prepared to pay a lot but it was necessary. I gave the piece of paper to Shawn and didn't expect much. A half hour later Shawn had the safe open without drilling. He figured out my Uncle's random combination of numbers even though we spent hours. All I can say is at a time like this when emotions and stress are high, this was a much needed event. Thank you, thank you Shawn and Esther! read more

I was locked out a few weeks ago on a Saturday and called Combination. Shawn and Esther came out within about an hour after they finished another job. Shawn took the hardware apart and found a part had broken. He was able to put the hardware back so that at least the dead bolt works while we look for other alternatives. Esther has researched similar hardware and kept in touch. Their price was fair, too. I definitely would use them again. read more

I called a different lock company and they made me wait over 2 hours after being locked out of my house and needing to be at work. Feeling frustrated and stressed out, I canceled that company and called this one. Speaking to Ester lifted my spirits! She was joyful in how she spoke and seemed to show a genuine concern for my situation. Her husband Sean was at my house in 15 minutes and into my house in 5 minutes. From going to a frustrating situation of being locked out and 2 hours late to work to having Ester and her husband diffusing the situation was wonderful. Will definitely use this company again! read more

I used Combination Lock & Safe for a re-key of locks at a recently purchased home in Brentwood. Esther scheduled a timely and convenient appointment. Shawn arrived on time and, he was very polite and professional. The front door was out of alignment. Shawn spent extra time to resolve the problem after re-keying the lock. The job was satisfactorily completed in about one hour. I would highly recommend Combination Lock & Safe. Ken Z read more

I am in WA state and set this appt up for my elderly dad who lives in Concord. He had called a locksmith in Concord and was quoted 280.00 to rekey 7 locks. The locksmith I emailed, quoted just over 400.00! When I found C. L. and S., I had NOT yet read any reviews so went blindly into it! Absolutely the most amazing, PROFESSIONAL, and quick service we've found since the olden days!!! The nicest part of all, Shawn charged what he quoted over the phone!!! NO HIDDEN FEES!!! He and his wife showed up as promised, 20 minutes early as a matter of fact!! Hey, even Southwest isn't THAT good, and the price and service was so excellent, my dad even tipped them!!!! AND, it was more than the two bucks he usually leaves for servers! (If you've waited on him, I apologize!!!) The nicest thing of all was, they showed an old man kindness and compassion, yet were speedy. In and out and no dragging their heels!!! They rocked, and I would recommend them to anyone!!! read more

Prompt, cheerful, and good bang for your buck for business needs. I highly recommend and will use them again.

If I could give them 10 stars, I would! The service from start to finish was outstanding; Esther is so helpful and gave me a quote over the phone, I couldn't get out to the house till 5:00, but that was no problem for them, and Shawn was right on time. Got the work done quickly, pricing was more than fair, and I will definitely use them again. If you go with them, I'm very confident you won't be disappointed and you'll find yourself on Yelp writing a rave review as well! Thank you Shawn and Esther!!!! read more

If I could give 6 stars, I would! Owner/tech Sean is a locksmith magician. He came to our house yesterday and easily unlocked our old door whose key was accidentally thrown away. He explained that our old door knob was a Westlock, and that it could be rekeyed to have the same key as our Kwikset front door knob. I chose to have the old doorknob rekeyed to the same key as the house front door. He has all the needed equipment in his van and he did it in just a few minutes. The new key works smoothly, just as well in the front door as the original front door key; no problems like with a hardware store where the key copy is kind of difficult or doesn't work at all. The price was so reasonable! Delta Lock & Key retired and gave their business phone to Combination Lock & Key, and I can see why. I found Delta Lock & Key to also be very up front, honest, and give reasonable prices, and Combination Lock's Sean and Esther are the same way. Esther was easy to work with regarding when Sean could come out to our house. There are scamsters out there who charge outrageous prices (several hundred dollars) on a holiday weekend. I would recommend Combination Lock & Key! read more

Our business had a break in and the criminals kicked in one of tour heavy inside doors. The force of the kick put a split above and below the switch plate on the door. I thought we would have to buy a new door (expensive) but Sean came in and informed me that he could order a wrap around to cover the edge of the door. Now the door is stronger than it was before. He was efficient and skilled and even cleaned up his mess. Esther in the office was polite and professional. Combination Lock and Safe has our future business. read more

They fixed the problem that our French Doors doesn't lock in a day with reasonable price. Greatly appreciated. Will call them again in the future and also recommend to friends. read more

4/20/2016 I just got my keys to our new house and I called this place and they where very polite and professional. What is it we most want from a service provider? Be able to communicate and grasp what your needs are. Show up when they say they will. Do the job well. Charge a reasonable fee. Well, these folks go way beyond that! We have used them in our property management business on more than one occasion and their outstanding performance has cemented what we hope will be an ongoing relationship. One example: We had a house where we needed all locks re-keyed. We also needed a broken interior door replaced. Besides being locksmiths, these guys brought a new door, mortised and drilled and did all that we usually have to hire a separate carpenter to do and got the entire job done quickly. Again, just one example. read more
