Jose was so great - within 20 minutes of calling him, he was onsite helping one of my tenants replace a vandalized ignition switch. He blew me away. Thank you Jose! read more

Jose was awesome and very helpful. Was able to make new key for my car at last minute and was extremely helpful overall

This guy knows his stuff. He made me several keys for my business and they worked bo problem

Ken provided an accurate quote over the phone and excelled in service. Will definitely use this company in the future.

The hours say 8am-2pm. I waited 40 minutes AND IT WAS 10:30am. Some guy called me saying he will be 10 minutes. I WAITED 40 MINUTES FOR HIM. This place is so unprofessional. Go to Home Depot and save yourself the heart ache. read more

If I could give this "business" zero stars I would. Jose is the rudest unprofessional locksmith I've ever dealt with. Not only does he lack any customer service but he treats you like trash. He screwed up and instead of apologizing decided being an ass was ok. I will never use this company again. Arrogant prick. read more

The guy that runs this place is incredibly kind. It was closing time and he kept the doors open for me which was awesome. Then he had great knowledge of some keys that I was trying to make copies of. I walked away very happy. I'm coming here again to get my special chip key for my Acura! read more

County Lock and Key - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me

I needed 4 locks re-keyed for a new home I puchased. I called 2 other locksmiths in the area and County Lock and Key quoted the best price. I called and told them my availability and we agreed on a time. They said they would call me prior to coming to the home. We met at the home at the same time. It took about 30 mins to get the job done. I would recommend this business to anyone that needs locks re-keyed. read more

Just returned after purchasing the correct fobs and Danny who had assisted me the first two times quickly got the new fobs working (and didn't disable my original one either!). Charged me what he quoted before (actually I had thought the price was per unit but it was for both!!) and I was on my way. Super great experience. Definitely recommend. FYI, they prefer cash but took my debit card. read more

Minimum of $130 to open a knob?? Don't need a replica of the key, just to open the knob. WOW, Rip off!!

I've dealt with the folks over here a handful of times over the last few years, they're always very fast, professional and fairly priced. The guys here are extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. Will continue to go back for all my lock and key needs in the future. read more

County Lock is still 5 stars in my book. I've used them several more times and they've exceeded my expectations every time. I work in the security business, typically the General Contractor takes care of the locks, when I need to do it, I bring the locks over to County and they take care of it. Excellent work, keep it up! read more

Unsafe practices -- had to ask the presumable proprietor and employee to wear a mask several times. Was there a full 30 minutes to have two keys made, in extremely hot and stuffy conditions. Don't go -- not worth the risk. read more

The owner was very kind. He came to our home twice. Once was to measure the lock, and give us advice on the lock we should purchase, and the second was for the installation. I recommend this company because they are very professional, and the quality of their work is amazing. read more

Lost all keys for our car, which with modern vehicles is a serious problem requiring high end (expensive) compute systems in order to pair a new key. Process went incredibly smoothly, had a new FOB setup for our car (3rd gen, 2011 Prius) in right around 20 minutes. Was able to get this problem resolved the same morning I called. I would gladly use them again, if one of us loses keys again! read more

Quick service and very helpful. My MIL locked her fob in her car after taking my son to his swim lesson (nextdoor). We were able to walk in and get immediate service. The owner advised us we could call AAA at no charge or pay his fee. His honesty was appreciated. His services were used. read more

One of the most professional yet friendliest service I know. They duplicated my key really fast and know which type to use just by looking at pictures. Really Recommend! They know what they're doing!! read more

A definite recommendation !!! Fast and efficient with there work !! Needed a key cut on the spot for my 2016 jeep wrangler . They came thru when no one else could. I appreciate these guys and jus wanted to tell people that it's worth it if your in need . Give them a buzz and you won't be disappointed. read more

Great place. They rekeyed a new deadbolt to my old keys in about 2 minutes. Note that the correct street address is 2395 NOT 2935 Monument Blvd. It's located in the little strip mall across from the Costco gas station, not all the way down by Cowell. read more

We had our car key with a chip re-programmed at County Lock and Key as well as several spare home keys made. They had the best price I could find. It was 1/2 the price that the dealership would have charged as well as several other locksmiths (although most of the other locksmiths I called will travel to you, so that makes them more expensive naturally). It is a nice business, well kept and professional. All the workers were very professional except one man I talked to on the phone; he said he didn't deal with vehicle keys and was rude. Other than that, we had a great experience with this business. It's in the same parking lot as Harvest House, across the street from Costco. read more

We use county lock and key for everything. Very quick service, Efficient, profesional, and Honest. I would never consider a different lock smith. They do all of homes, and our business. All companies should take note from them, they do a great job. read more

They make great keys, have a buffet of many kinds of designer style keys. You can rock a different key for said desires so you don't get confused and add some style to your keyset. All keys are made well and last a long time. No job has been too hard for them to do. Quality of service is great, and it's an easy in and out. You can stop by the harvest food next door if you wish knock out a couple birds. read more

Went here on my brother's recommendation to reprogram a key for my wife's RAV4. Unlike everyone else I called, Jose was happy to program a key I purchased elsewhere which saved me $100 over the next lowest bid. And because I purchased a non-OEM key the job ended up requiring a technical support call, disconnecting and reconnecting the battery, and re-flashing the car's bcm. In spite of the extra time and complication, Jose never got frustrated and got everything working for me for the original price. I recommend him without reservation! read more

Quick & easy they get the job done with reasonable prices I would recommend them anytime. Amazing service guys read more

These folks are the best! I bought a lock from OSH at their closing sale and it turned out to be defective but they wouldn't take it back. County Lock and Key got me set up with a replacement lock that is better quality and at a reasonable price. If you want a good solid lock and great service, come here first and don't bother with the HD's or other hardware stores. read more

I have used County Lock and Key for several years for both my home and business. Recently I contracted with Jose to replace the locks on two office buildings. After over two months, the work is not complete. There have been communication problems finding out when the work will be done, what was completed and when. When questioned why specific instructions were not followed, Jose became argumentative, to the point where it was not constructive. I ended up canceling the project. Needs some coaching about customer service. read more

County Lock is awesome. Jose answered my call and questions honestly and professionally regarding my locked ignition in my van and he and Charlie showed up at my house and fixed my problem at an incredibly reasonable price, way less than the other local place I called and within an hour I was back on the road. I will never call anywhere else again for my lock and key needs. read more

Fast and great service. They made it to our place in a hour on a late friday afternoon when front door lock broke. Great job!

This place does it right the first time. I go there whenever the nonprofit organization I work for needs new keys. They've been able to accommodate everything -- our funky keys that nowhere else could do -- and get it right the first time. Another staff member took a key to be copied at OSH and after 3 attempts, still couldn't get the key to work. I took the key to County Lock & Key and they got it right the first time. The team knows what they're doing and they do it so well. read more

County lock and Key is under new ownership, Bob the previous owner has retired. The new owner is knowledgeable but is often out of the shop. When he is gone no one seems to be able to do much. I have been there 3 times just to get a newer style key cut, nothing fancy and they could not even do that. I have been doing business with County Lock and key for 30 years, and will sadly look around for a new vendor. read more

I have been using CL&K for years now and they are very prompt and professional, always there when I need them , I highly recommend them

This company sold me the wrong locks for an office building. I needed handles to make the doors ADA accessible. They sold me the handles and then proceeded to remove all the deadbolts leaving these first floor tenants with less security than they had before. When I complained they said I should have purchased a more expensive lock set where the deadbolt is connected to the handle for quick egress in a fire. I would have purchased these had I known they existed. County lock may be great for people locked out of their homes but don't use them for ADA or commercial work. Plus they were rude on the phone when I asked them to replace the handles. They said "get someone else" and hung up. I have contacted Concord lock who is going to do the job right. Unfortunately I already spent $1050 with County Lock. read more

This is by far the best locksmith that I have visited in the vicinity. We ran into trouble the other day as we weren't able to open our storage door using a duplicate key. By simply looking at a picture of the original key, the locksmith was immediately able to create a key just like it. He was very friendly and professional. If you ever find yourself in a pinch because you can't seem to open your door, you should definitely visit County Lock and Key. read more

I called County Lock & Key, also in Concord. I was told the cost to pick or drill the lock hitch lock on my truck would range from $25.00 to $45.00 regardless of whether or not I purchased a lock from them. I did not mention mention my experience with Rex Lock (see Below). I drove straight over to County Lock and I timed how long removing the lock would take. The technician spent 5 minutes trying to pick the lock and then told me he would have to drill it. It took another 10 minutes to drill and remove the lock. He charged me $35.00! Very reasonable! From now on I will go to County Lock & Safe, no lies and no bait and switch. Beware of Rex Lock & Safe - Bait and Switch... Earlier the same day I called Rex Lock & Safe to see how much it would cost to pick or drill the lock on my trailer hitch. The woman that answered the phone said there would be no charge for picking or drilling the lock if I purchased a new lock from them. I arrived at Rex Lock 20 minutes later and told her I was the fellow who called. She sent a technician out to the parking lot with me to look at the lock. He said he might be able to pick the lock but that he would probably have to drill the lock. He said in either case it would take about an hour to do the work and that I would be charged $90.00 labor for removing the lock - regardless of wether or not I purchased a lock from them. I told him that the woman on the phone told me there would be no charge for labor if I purchased the replacement lock from them. He told me she did not know what she was talking about and that it would take him about an hour to do the work in the hot sun (it was 75 degrees). I told him that Rex Lock was engaging in bait and switch tactics and that I would never use them in the future as I could no longer trust what they say. Then I called County Lock & Key and received an honest quote and followed through with great service. read more

Great Service! I phoned, and received great advice about a lock on the mailbox that was all gummed up. Still the lock would not open, so I authorized mobile service because in my household the mail is top priority. The service man showed up early and on time, and fixed the lock real fast and leaving the mailbox in good shape. They do fantastic work! And have reasonable rates. Next time I need work done on one of my locks I am going to County Lock! read more

in and out with a copy of my motorcycle key within 5 minutes. no joke. i think waiting for the credit card machine to approve my payment took longer than them finding the right key blank and cutting it. top job! read more

Got locked out cause key wouldn't turn for some reason. Had Rex Lock and Safe come out to fix it based on the rec from our HOA. They were able to get the door unlocked but the locksmith had trouble installing the cylinder (it got stuck) and wanted to charge me a crazy amount to replace the entire lock and to install a deadbolt. As another reviewer pointed out, they really tried to rip you off. So I declined their offer and called up Jose at County Lock. Really nice guy and came over and took like 10 min and was able to get the cylinder out. No problem. Didn't even try to rip me off by telling me I needed a whole new lock. Even better, he didn't even charge for coming out to take a look at it. I would totally recommend these guys! read more
