Bought a camper from these people and within a year I had an issue. They were not helpful. Finally I had to sell it because of all the issues with it. I spoke with a lady in a Elkhart Indiana and she said the probable reason I got the camper so cheap because it was a "factory second" from the factory or damaged. She said the brand I got was known for poor quality campers. Buyer Beware from this company *****Please Note, First off their new business name is Ashley Outdoors. Per the business owner stating this is a SCAM review, this is note. What the owner won't tell you is that when they were contacted (via a email regarding a warranty issue, I was told there was nothing they could do about it. The service team, led by O, did a fantastic job helping me with my camper service. They were so helpful and led me through the entire repair process. Working hand-in-hand with my insurance company, they made sure I was aware of progress throughout the process. Having experienced camper repairs from other company's in the past, I didn't not have high hopes. But I was pleasantly surprised by the attention and quick turnaround O and his team delivered. I recently visited the Columbus, GA location. I explained to the salesman my price range and the options I would prefer. I was shown what was available and I was not pressured to upgrade to something more expensive. The salesman was professional and Finance Mgr got me the best financing available. The Service Dept did a great job of preparing the camper for use and showing how to use towing bar. The salesman walked us thru camper and explained how to use appliances and etc. As my granddaughter would say "Good Job." read more

I don't even want to give them a start. Columbus RV Center sold us a brand new 2019 RV. It had a fire on the outside of the RV, behind the fridge, less than 3 weeks after we purchased it. They told us there would be an investigation to determine what went wrong. There was no investigation, they just decided on there own what they thought happened. The manufacturer Starcraft confirmed this. No report from an outside source or a fire Marshall. The owner yelled at me on the phone when I asked questions and told me he didn't care about my family when I was concerned about my kids going back into the RV. Worst customer service ever. Tried to make me feel like I am stupid for asking questions. NEVER BUY FROM HERE. read more

EXTREMELY poor customer service. They attempted a bait and switch on the camper we were going to purchase. After the financing was completed they wanted to charge an additional $1,500.00 saying the incorrect pricing sheet was placed in the camper (come to find out, the wrong price sheet is in more than one camper). We refused to pay the additional amount and found another camper. When we talked to the owner to let him know how displeased we were he made up numerous excuses as to how the wrong price was on the camper. We proceeded to tell him it was poor customer service then he refused to sell us a different camper. He told us to go to Opelika RV. I have never seen a company willing to lose an $18K sale so fast!! We found one online for a better price at Opelika RV but they were closed when we went to look at it so we ended up at Camping World of Oxford in Anniston, AL. That was by far the best thing that could have happened to us. Not only did we find a better deal on a camper to fit our needs, we got a 6% lower interest rate because they use reputable lenders instead of "buy here, pay here" lenders. I would definitely NEVER recommend Columbus Camper Center to anyone! Research online and you can find a great deal at a MUCH more honest dealership!! I wish we would have talked to more people to find out how poorly this guy runs his company before we went there! He had the attitude that he was doing us a favor by selling us a camper! I do want to send a huge THANK YOU to the owner of Cols Camp Cntr for being such a jerk and refusing to sell us a camper!! We couldn't have been happier at Camping World!! read more

would like to say had a very nice experience with the Alabama store that belongs to them, went on 10/30/15 nice layout had a camper plugged up music playing in the lot and soon as my wife said we were in the new stages of wanting a camper we were not shrugged away like most places do when they find out your not buying right away. Was given a lot of useful information from cole and even the manager sherley explained financing options for us offered us coffee which you do not get help like this anymore from some places. we will be buying soon as the new year comes from this place. ( note reading all the negative from the Columbus camper center) we were not sure if we would deal with this company but that's why we decided to write a review cant believe all what you read the OPELIKA CAMPER CENTER staff and management is where you need to go. read more

All I can say about this company is RUN AWAY!!!! Worst "business" I have ever dealt with. Liars, cheats, thieves, idiots....those are 4 of my top 5 descriptive words for them, the 5th not being appropriate to type on a public website.... In short, they advertised a trailer, my husband went to buy it, and of course, it was a "misprint" and they tried to get out of doing deal - fortunately, my husband had the advertisement with the model and VIN and they were required to honor his price. He went to pick it up (we live in Florida, they are in Georgia) and he noticed what appeared to be a defect in the wheel on one tire - he questioned this not once, but 3 times, and was assured there were no issues and the wheel and tire had been tested. Half way to Orlando, the tire blew and bent the wheel. After multiple conversations, this joke of a business agreed to replace the tire and wheel IF he returned the defective one AT OUR COST FOR SHIPPING. $50 and a month later, they have the defective tire and refuse to honor replacing it. They have spent weeks lying about where the tire was shipped but refuse to give any tracking information. We finally said forget sending a new tire, just send us the cost to replace it and we'll do it ourselves. When my husband was finally able to get ahold of whatever position William holds (I'd say village idiot, but I don't want to insult village idiots everywhere), he proceeded to tell my husband that we already bought the trailer under cost (remember, THEIR ADVERTISED PRICE) and we need to get over it and stop calling them. Seriously, this is a very condensed version - these people are vulgar, unprofessional, ignorant and have no business representing any manufacturer. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Even if they are too stupid to know how to price their products and you do get a good deal on a trailer there, it won't be worth the complete lack of customer service or whatever defective products they throw on the trailer to try to make up for their own stupidity. Columbus Camper Center I will NOT recommend to anyone!!!!! Ive only been stationed here a few weeks and am still learning the area we brought a camper from Colorado with us needing a few parts was told go to this place. First parking in unreal all kind big trucks out front walking on lot all you see is teenagers working henceforth why all big trucks now, go inside teenager inside one directs me to parts no hello may I help you I had to ask for parts then I turn around no one followed or came to help me, note im impressed they have a lot of parts but not what I needed or so I am assuming since I got no help. After about 20 min walking around waiting to see if anyone is going to help During this whole time all I see are teenagers wondering around cutting up and a what I can only assume is a person in charge a young man that even ignored me, a elderly lady finally acknowledged me but by now I was all to ready and willing to pay someone else or go to Atlanta anywhere but here. Through all this I am assuming the owners of this establishment does not know how this place gets ran and even though its only a part I need I was trying to keep my money local for the community .I will not recommend this place to anyone. read more
