I took my boat last year for routine service with a full tank of gas. Got it back with just enough gas to go to the station. I let that pass and didn't say anything. I had my boat picked up recently for yearly maintenance, to stick a piece of trim back on the floor area, and to check my radio that made a popping sound in the speaker (radio worked when we loaded the boat on the trailer). I called after 7 days to check the status of the service and was given a bill higher than expected. Only to find out they put a new radio in my boat (i didn't authorize - but paid for it) and was told they fixed the floor trim. Got the boat back and the trim is exactly like it was when they got it. I asked to pick up my old radio and was told to come by. Got there (2 hour drive) and the radio was nowhere to be found. Very aggravating! Sales is great but service is horrible. I will not be doing business at CGM again.

Did a test drive with Mike and Chandler Griggs. Both super nice, courteous and knowledgeable. When it came to paperwork, Robert Ely, Finance Manager, joined the conversation and was very helpful. Less than 3 hours later I recieved a call that it needed a u joint and a seal so I asked for the total and I was told $1052 plus tax so I approved it . 5 days later I was called and told it was ready and as they were working on it they found a bellow was bad so he replaced it and he didn't charge me any labor . I was fine with that . The part was $118 . So my bill should have been $1170 plus tax . No . When I asked for the total he told me it was $1742 . So I go down there and asked how did it jump almost 700. He told me he never quoted me the original 1052. After arguing with him he told me they recorded their phone calls so I asked him to please pull it. Funny they didn't have that one. So after talking to his boss in Atlanta we agreed on the original price of 1052 plus the bellow. I asked for my old parts. When I looked at them I could not see anything wrong with the u joint he sold me and no signs of possible future issues with it. So I took it to 2 other reputable marine shops to look at and they both said there was nothing wrong with it and there is no way they would have replaced or recommended it being replaced. So I guess you got me this time but I will never return to there and will never recommend it anyone I know. And by the way they service manager Steve needs costumer service classes.

That couldn't have been further from the truth. Well for starters it cost over $500 for the basics. Then I brought my boat home after a week and I always like to look over my boat before I take it out and I noticed my gps/depth finder is opulent come on nor would the motor turn over so I open the back hatch to my batteries where they unhooked all of the battery terminals and failed to hook them back up. I call to tell them and all I got was "I'm sorry." For as much as I paid to have the normal maintenance done you can imagine how aggravated I was. I WONT be back and wouldn't recommend to anybody else to trust them with their boat.
