We installed a new porcelain toilet in a camping world in Florida. On our way to the Blue Ridge Mountains, the toilet started leaking (not fun). We called ahead to explain the situation, and they told us to stop by so they could take care of it. Dominic took care of us, and they fixed the toilet and completed a 21-point inspection on the travel trailer. We didn't have to pay, as it was covered under their warranty. We were out in less than 2 hours. Great people and great service. Highly recommended. read more

Bought a brand new 2025 forest river vibe, in less than a year one thing after another breaking on it. Take it in to be repaired under the warranty and it took 4 months of them lying, claiming it would be done the next day, having Dominic tell us repeatedly it will be done tomorrow then I'd call the next day and they have no work order, I kid you not this went on for 3 months, finally had to send a certified letter threatening them and miraculously, the parts came in only to be lied to more and pushed aside again and again. Told them everything wrong with it when I dropped it off only for them to act surprised when I mentioned the hot water heater. That added another month, I've never dealt with so many unprofessional liars in one establishment. Not one person in the building knows what's going on or who's fault it is but all assure me it's not on them it's the other guys fault, the only thing these people are on the same page about is lying and taking no accountability. Such a terrible experience. Do yourself a favor, if your looking to buy a camper, go anywhere but here because, I promise you, the sardine can they sell you, will break and you will wait months for them to fix it, they will lie to you and not one person in there will know what's going on with your camper while they have it. 4 months wasted, 4 months we could've been enjoying the spring and beautiful weather. Service department stinks!!! Our camper was there for over two months. Finally able to pick it up after we decide to go and get it. Wanted to charge almost twice the quoted repair cost. Camper was left trashed inside and damages to counter top and paneling! Battery was completely dead but we refused to drive it off the lot until we were able to go through with a fine tooth comb. We brought it down completely clean but there were screws and debris all over the floor and sink area. Communication with service department was non existent! We are still here waiting on resolution to damage and being able to plug it up to make sure new AC is working properly and slide out works properly! Praying everything will turn out good! Camping World took over 5 months to glue down 2 floor slats, fix a door hinge, glue accent lights, and replace a faulty refrigerator. No only were they slow, when I got my unit back the black tank was 1/3 full (SO GROSS!), they left greasy dismantled stabilizers on a bare bunk MATTRESS, there were small pools of water on the floor near the new fridge and they killed a battery! When I dropped it off at Campimg World, all tanks were empty, all lights off, the battery kill switch was set to off, and any greasy parts were left in the storage compartments - not uncovered on a mattress!! I guess this is a waste of time to even list these things but I cannot express how disappointed I am with the Camping World's service departments in Byron and Woodstock. Sloppy, trashy, inconsiderate, unprofessional, and just all around horrible. So nasty. Who uses someone else's toilet and doesn't empty it???? I would say unbelievable but it seems like par for the course for you guys. I'm sharing my experience with the BBB and every online forum I can find in hopes that what happened to me doesn't happen to anyone else. I forgot what the gentleman's name was but he was a huge Florida Gators fan :)... this guy came outside, showed me a few things on my Motorcoach that was sooo helpful and Sold me a product to help with my concern. I was totally against Camping World due to previous experiences at a different location in Cocoa Florida - they say (1 bad apple can spoil the bunch :) I must give credit where credit is due and this Camping World had it going on. We walked around the lot without a single salesperson approaching us...::until it was 5 minutes to closing and a pair in a golf cart came and told us it was time to leave. I purchased a used Casita travel trailer from Camping World of Macon and even traveled from Las Vegas to pick it up. They had the exact model I was looking for and I was happy to make the trip to get it. The trailer was just as they described and in good condition, so I was pleased with it. I ran into some difficulty with the sales department regarding the correct documentation needed for me to register the trailer in Nevada. Even after hours of waiting in the sales office, the paperwork still wasn't done correctly before I left the dealership. Having never purchased a trailer in another state before, I wasn't aware of this until I was contacted by the office manager, Melissa. By this time I had returned to Las Vegas without the clean title to register my trailer. I was rather frustrated after all the time spent there and voiced my anger to Melissa. She was by far the most helpful person I encountered at Camping World of Macon. She promptly corrected my documentation woes and FedEx'd my trailer title to me in two days. She even followed up to make sure I received it. Now I can enjoy the trailer I drove across eight states to purchase. read more

I would give NO STARS if I could. My husband and I bought a 2024 Forest River Salem Grand Villa 44 view in July of this year at the Camping World in Byron. We had an amazing salesman, Steven, who was incredible help from start to current. He listened to us as we had just come there after a bad encounter at another dealership so he made sure we had a different experience. We decided on this camper which cost a GOOD chunk of change (we also put $9k down towards that fyi) but it feels like because we didn't spend more, we're not important. We had the camper delivered and immediately the problems began. That day, we realized the fireplace in the living room did not work on our brand new unit. THE NEXT DAY, we went to extend the awning and the arm completely snapped, the bathroom door hinge pulled out of the ceiling again, BRAND NEW UNIT. I immediately called Steven at Camping World and told him about the issues we were already experiencing and he jumped into action. The awning broke July 23rd and they finally sent out a 3rd party company to repair the arm so that they could at least get the awning back in on the 26th. The repair man came back out on the 30th and replaced the arm and fixed the door but did not look at the fireplace because "it was not on the ticket". He told us he would be putting us in for a new awning since the fabric was stretched and warped and that Camping World would be in touch.The next few months have been complete crap as it has been constant circles between service, parts, and everyone in between. FINALLY on November 13th, I was told that the same maintenance company would be reaching out to come that afternoon or that Friday to look at the fireplace after I refused their request for ME to removed the fireplace myself and send them the picture of the manufacturer's sticker so they could send it to the manufacturer for replacement (mind you, we don't know if it's broken or just installed incorrectly because no one has even looked at it at this point). Surprise surprise... I never got a call. On the 18th I called and waited on hold for 20 minutes, finally hung up and emailed with no response. After one of the A.C. units repeatedly failing for the last two days, my husband and I decided to go up there yesterday to figure out why we are unable to get resolutions being that this all should be covered under not only the manufacture warranty but also the extended warranty we purchased as well. We were greeted by Steven who was horrified to hear of all the issues we were STILL dealing with. He proceeded to try to figure out where to start and in that process we told him we were considering doing a trade in on this cursed camper just to try to start fresh with no issues since they have been one after another since Day 1. He was happy to accommodate us and ended up giving me a call today letting me know that the unofficial offer for trade in value that he was given when asked would be ALMOST HALF OF WHAT WE PAID FOR IT JUST OVER 90 DAYS AGO.... This was bad news for Camping World because I am more than happy to share this info with any and every person who will listen that is considering using Camping World because they have been nothing but a SCAM SCAM SCAM..... Unless a miracle happens and things are rectified, DO NOT USE CAMPING WORLD. These big corporate companies do not care about you after the sale is made, maybe because we didn't spend enough money but we are just a young family trying to enjoy our camper... I'm sorry we didn't have more money to spend but that shouldn't make a difference in how serious you take your customer service. I will gladly update my review if things change but I urge anyone to steer clear of going to this dealership. Steven was and continues to be a great salesman and customer advocate and deserves a raise or better yet a job at a better company where he is appreciated because if it wasn't for him, I would be camping in the parking lot just to let these people know that I won't give up on them BEING HELD ACCOUNTABLE for the pos lemon they so happily sold to us in July. read more

Stopped by the Byron dealership this past Monday to become educated with travel trailer, Class B, etc. Rashaan (salesman) and I were scheduled to meet back up Wednesday 9/22 to learn about the Class B's. I was called Wed 9/22 and told that the salesman was off but rescheduled for Thursday. I called the salesman before I stopped by. When I entered the salesman took me to the lost and stated that he only had one Class B on the lot. This after numerous conversations about looking at the class B's. Attitude of Rashaan seemed arrogant, unapologetic and seemingly as if he could care less. I will not be back and do everything I can to see that this company does not get business. read more

Besides trying to sneak an electric refrigerator without telling us to replace the propane electric we had requested. No one at camping world seemed to think 8 months was an extraordinary amount of time to replace two awning arms and a refrigerator. Is there a way to give less than 1 star? Reading through these reviews, it is clear that there are many total BS ones put in to make this place look better than it is. No customer service, and they don't care either. We left our camper there for 3 minor issues the 2nd week of August - fridge issue, furnace check, and a ripped seal. After walking around it with the service rep, Jon, agreed to have bearings packed since we have (well, HAD now) a long trip planned for Thanksgiving. Not too bad, it would take longer than the 2-3 weeks he told us, but I had 2 phone calls and 2 emails from him. After NOTHING for a month, and 2 non-returned calls from my wife, we reached someone. He told us that Jon had quit, and we had been one of his clients. Turns out they never reassigned our trailer to anyone, but they would do so at that time. Another month passes and we start calling. SEVEN calls, not one returned, until I called 4 days in a row. Everyone who answers the phone has no idea what customer service means, and it gets worse when they transfer you to service. On calls 4-7 I was told a sticky note was being put on MY service tech's desk with ASAP and IMPORTANT on the note. Had to call and finally got Megan, yesterday. I asked for a status, and after reviewing my account she said, "The part we needed arrived on October 25, are you going to be bringing in the trailer". She tried her best to be nice when I explained that they had had the trailer there for over 3 months, and now she was telling me that they had the part they needed for 2 weeks, with not one call to let us know (or return of any of our calls). She went on to explain that Jon's clients were all given to the service manager, Shauna - who again had never once reached out to us. Oh, and funny that although they didn't know it was sitting there, they did determine that I would owe over $600 for the other work they had done. I asked how long it would be for the repair and Megan put me on hold to confirm. She would try to get it in yesterday, put the part on, and call me if it was done. I joked that I knew I would not get a call last night, and of course, I did not. She did call this morning to let me know that they did put the part on, BUT it wasn't the problem. They have it figured out, but no idea when the part might come in, or how long it will take to get the part installed once they do have it - and I'm still kind of leary when her response was that she didn't see why that part also wouldn't be covered under warranty....I won't be holding my breath. I will be posting this review anywhere and everywhere I can find that will take one on this place. And when they don't respond, or get this handled, I will start adding to it. Megan should be promoted to service manager, as although she couldn't finish the job, she at least had the decency to call me back (a day later). Not one other person has even done that, and they have made not one offer to make this right.....Although, with all the bogus 4 and 5 star reviews, why would they?? read more

We full time in our camper, and while Camping World tends to be a bit pricey for parts, sometimes it's the quickest option. In addition usually the employees in the parts department are helpful and will look up what parts fit your particular camper. That was NOT the case at the Byron GA camping world. Came in for a water pump, told the employee at the parts desk what I was in for and the camper I have and she told me she couldn't help without knowing what water pump was currently in the camper...... and offered zero assistance past that. I will be ordering one from Amazon..... truly appreciate the customer service (insert eye roll). It's really disappointing when I have gotten fantastic customer service at other locations. read more

We bought our camper 2 months ago. Upon going to pick it up, they had informed us they double booked us and we would need to reschedule pickup. During our inspection there were some items needing addressing and we were told the parts would be ordered and within a week we could bring our camper back for repairs. After numerous calls and messages we left here we are. No repairs done, not even a scheduled time frame for when it will be done. We also had to track down the bank they financed us through in order to pay our bill. Today we spoke to a nice gentleman who tried to help us and could see the work orders had been placed but yet again couldn't figure it out and will have to call us back. Not a very good experience at all. Door came off the slider, between bathroom/bed room (in transit from dealer to my lot towed by them). small plastic part, told to drive the camper the 2-3 hours, to the sales lot, and was told, that they would have to order the part, that they didn't have it in stock more then likely. I was told contact the maker, did and they are maybe going to send the part instead of making me waste gas and time to get to the dealer for a cheap part. Then the microwave went out, called for repairs, no return call. Left review on the web, gave them my number and they called another number. Was told the voicemail kept repeating pretty much bring the camper in, or call the makers (who told me to call camping world.) Big point the finger game, for the maybe $20 in parts, I am just going to order them myself, and fix the problems instead of holding my breath and waiting for camping world to do the right thing, or order the parts, and either ship them to me, or send someone out to repair them. read more

Matthew is an awesome, polite and knowledgeable sales person; he definitely went above and beyond. He and financing will work with you and your budget to find the right fit. Myron was also a standout when it came to the paperwork; professional and helpful with our questions and concerns. After the sale there were a couple minor things that were satisfactorily addressed immediately. I read some of the other reviews but this Camping World must have retrained their employees and changed their approach because my husband and I were totally satisfied, which is actually difficult since I was in retail for 25 years and very particular about how I'm treated during any sale. I have to say again how great Matthew was and he has a bright future in anything he does. read more

Dometic toilet valve broke the first night of our camping trip! Awful way to start the trip! I had to google to figure out the issue. The next AM I went to Camping World in Macon hoping they had the part. I stood in kind at the service desk behind several people who were apparently bringing their rigs in for service. An employee approached me and asked if I needed service or if there was something else he could help me with. I told him about the valve and he immediately walked over and grabbed exactly what I needed off the shelf. I was very -leased with how easy this was. Trip saved! read more

Went to Camper World to make a purchase. The salesman was friendly in a pushy type of way. Got me for a deposit of $500 and called another company for me to buy insurance. All of this was done before any contract was talked about. He walked us out and said that as soon as the camper was out of the shop they would call us. The next day we get a call saying that I don't make enough money. You would think they would tell you all this before having you make deposits and paying for insurance. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAMPER TO THIS PARTICULAR CAMPING WORLD IN BYRON, GEORGIA. We bought a brand new 2021 Montana camper that ended up having numerous problems with it. Before we left with the camper, we got with the service dept and the people that deal with scratches, etc and all information was put on a list and recorded in the service departments computer system. We also have a print-out of the list. Numerous problems. So they said all was in the system and we made an appointment to take our camper back, which we did. They said they would take care of all items on the list. Well after TWO WHOLE MONTHS, we finally get a call that they were finished with the camper. My husband makes a trip, which is approximately three hours away, all to find out the camper is indeed not ready! Many of the items on the list were overlooked apparently. There was excuse after excuse after excuse why this wasn't done, why that wasn't done. Got excuses that techs had quit their jobs, that the lady that does the scratch write-ups was not notified. BLAH BLAH BLAH! Two whole months, with phone calls to my husband in between, and still the camper was not ready. THEN THEY CHARGED HIM $181.00 saying that Warranty didn't cover diagnostics if they could not find a problem with the A/C! Now that was really icing on the cake. All the while the guy that works the counter in the Service Department had a smug, I DON'T REALLY CARE, type of attitude. They did a half A** job on one of the fenders, which was not acceptable. They didn't even touch the scratch that was on the rear side of the camper, which was recorded as being there the day we purchased the camper. They claim there is no problem with the A/C unit/inverter, etc., then why is it not cooling sufficiently like it should. I know I'm rambling, but I'm very upset about this and MY HUSBAND IS IN ROUTE HOME WITH NO CAMPER. He had to leave it there again!!!!! This is very unacceptable!! I got in touch with a representative online, which in turn gave me the customer service email to the Corporate office. I'm anxious to see what they have to say about their SERVICE TEAM in Byron, Georgia. I feel they need a whole new team, including MANAGER, SUPERVISOR, COUNTER EMPLOYEES, ETC. ESPECIALLY THE ONE THAT ASSISTED MY HUSBAND TODAY. Talk about poor customer care!!!!! My husband said the guy acted as if he hated his job and didn't even want to be there. His words to my husband were just, "Sorry you feel that way!". Yeah right buddy, you go buy a 2021 camper with so many defects and the service department screw you over and see how you feel about it! Have gone there several times and called several times looking for parts(bought travel trailer from them) never have any parts, never bother to try to find the parts, won't order the parts. If I could give Zero stars I would, I can not even begin to explain the year long nightmare it has been dealing with this store. Do not buy or service a camper here! Bought a brand new camper a year ago from this store, it leaked within a few months and had water damage. Took it to be repaired it took them 2 1/2 months and said it was ready, (we called many times and couldn't get updates or return calls, have to go in person every time for the 6 months), went to pick it up NOTHING had been repaired all that was done was resealed the area, which wasn't done until that had it over 2 months. So a water leak with just a little damage turned into mold and water damage spread all over.... they tried to return it this way.... visible brown marks on areas that weren't damaged prior to us leaving it with them. Said they would repair the damage then 2 months later it was "ready" again. I will attach pictures to their photos of what the camper looked like to fix the damage. They had had the camper almost 6 months at this point. So another month later go to pick up the "fixed" camper, tested for moisture and it had it all in the walls of the original damaged area. So this brings me to the next issue, we spoke with GM and "traded in" the camper they could never fix. Lost thousands of dollars on it and got another camper which was more expensive and so then we end up out even more for a smaller camper but at least it didn't have mold. So they get a payoff, the loan was funded immediately from the bank records, however here we are 6 weeks later and have made a payment on the new loan and also have to continue paying on the old loan because they haven't sent the payment in. Called many times and can't get any answers or returned calls. So we will have to go up there again this weekend. I can not stress this enough.... do not buy or service a camper at this camping world. The first camper I was charged extra fees for not getting it registered on time because they took several months to get the paperwork in and I couldn't register it. Still can't register this new camper either so I'm sure I will have fees for it as well. I don't want anyone to go through the literal nightmare I have. Anyone who put a good review on here has never bought or serviced a camper here..... just don't do it, I promise you will regret it. read more

Went up after a couple of weeks and was told that they were waiting on parts. Waited a couple more weeks and went up today. Found out the parts were never ordered. Byron, Georgia camping world is by far the worst experience I've ever had to deal with. Long story short after almost 7 months from purchase of a camper I finally got my slide topper replaced that was ordered by camping world 9 months ago and was in their possession almost 3 months. I had talked to the "General Manager" Miranda Strickland a few months back and since end of November early December never really got any information from her or the staff from Byron camping world. I had to resort to calling the corporate office multiple times to even find out any information. Little side note the ladies from the corporate office are absolutely amazing. Finally a few weeks ago I get a random phone call from a third party repair service. Had no clue anyone was contacting me or what they were there for, third party's response was " they were to do what ever I needed" tried to reach out to Miranda Strickland again to inquire as to what they were supposed to be doing for me, and guess what no response from her. Again had to reach out to the wonderful ladies at corporate to see what was going on. I could go on and on about my experience with Byron, Ga location. Just please do your self a favor, and stay away from the Byron, Ga location. Overall their lack of good customer service, lack of effective communication skills both in-house and with the customer, is why I will never do business with this location ( I am currently using the lake park, ga location right now), not asking y'all to not do business with camping world but just with the Byron, Ga location. read more

Very rude. Kayla was at the front desk and told us she would get someone right out to help us. Another couple walked in behind us and someone immediately came out to greet them and took them out to show them campers. They were an older couple and we are in our early 30s. Our one year old and 5 year old were with us and it was raining a little bit. Kayla suggested that we walk out and look around and someone would be right out to help us. We took her advice and walked around in the rain. The older couple in front of us that cut in line were drove around on a golf cart and so we're the next 2 customers. We walked around for almost an hour and were never helped. I guess we weren't taken Serious because of our age maybe? Either way it was a terrible experience and not to mention it was on Father's Day and we wanted to get a camper today. read more

The service department at Camping World (Byron) is terrible. I have owned my camper 3 months and have taken it back twice for repairs on the same problem. They last told me they needed to order a stove exhaust fan motor. I have called Mathew twice who told me he would call me back after he talks to the parts guy, he has never called me back. The finance department ran me through multiple lenders without my permission with me clearly stating the entire time that I did not want this to happen. Other than selling me a dead battery. They do not know how to man their customer service desk. There has never been a time I've entered this establishment and was acknowledged. It takes flagging someone down every time or standing for 30min watching the employees eat their lunch or update their Facebook statuses. Below is a copy of my Google Review, since I felt it should be shared elsewhere: I originally brought the RV in for a full inspection, a ceiling vent replacement, resealing of the skylight window, and slide out servicing, among other things. I was told 2 to 3 months after the fact that the work had been completed. When I went to go pick up the RV from Camping World, I did a walkthrough of the RV and noticed that none of the work I had paid for had even been done. As a matter of fact, the vent that was supposed to be replaced, had just been removed and left open. The slide out was still misaligned, the skylight window hadn't been resealed, and the inspection hadn't been completed. But they made sure to take my money. I refused to accept the RV as it was, so I left it at the shop. A week later, they give me a call saying that they had found roof damage that I might want to claim on insurance. So I do. I contacted insurance, got the estimate on work (over $9000), and I got approval from insurance on the claim. Camping World, once again, very eager to take the insurance money. I leave, expecting the work to be completed. I checked up every few weeks or so. Every time the excuse was "We're still waiting on parts." By this point, Camping World of Byron has had my RV in service for the past 9, going on 10, months. I gave Camping World my usual call to check in on the status of my RV. This time, they claimed the work was complete. I took a day off work and went to go pick up the RV. Eager to finally get the RV home, I get there, pay the balance owed from the deductible on the insurance claim and bring my RV home, without doing too in depth of a walkthrough. The service manager, John, assured me and my wife that the RV has no leaks and all work was completed. Once I got home, I was able to give the RV a much better personal inspection. I hook up the RV to plumbing, there is a plumbing leak behind the shower, depite being told that the plumbing was inspected and had no leaks. It was an extremely obvious leak, and water was shooting out from beneath the wheel well. They would have seen it, had they actually hooked it up to water and inspected like I paid them to. After further inspection, I double check the estimate from the insurance claim and my receipts just to make sure I was correct in my thinking that the work had not been completed. I reached out to my claims rep at Progressive and sent pictures as well, just to be sure. He confirmed that the work had not been done. After 9 to 10 months in the shop at Camping World, and after them taking nearly $13,000 in payment, absolutely NONE of the work had been completed on my unit. The unit had been sitting in the rain, without work being done on the roof as they agreed. It smells like mold, and I'm 100% sure there is more water damage now, than there was when I brought it in for the roof to be replaced. Our RV is essentially our guest bedroom to our house, and we have visitors coming soon, as well as trips planned that we will now likely have to cancel. Camping World refuses to give us a loaner, or some sort of reparations for their blatant neglect on our unit. Long story short, STAY AWAY! Go to Mid-State RV or some other shop. Hopefully they won't do you dirty like this. If I could give a worse rating, I would. UPDATE 1: One week after dropping the RV back off at the shop for them to do the repairs they were supposed to get done over the past 9 to 10 months, I am still unable to get in contact with the service manager (or anyone in service for that matter) to get an update on how they will handle this. UPDATE 2: It's been two to three months since I originally posted this review. Camping World of Byron has now had my RV for over a year, and has not kept me updated at all regarding what is being done to my unit. I've asked several times to be updated with photos and other updates regarding what exactly is being replaced/repaired on my unit, and I have gotten nothing. Camping World Corporate has not followed up with me regarding the case I opened up with them, and the service manager continues to ignore me. read more

Just bought a trailer here in GA, needed it winterized before going back to CO. Taylor worked me in the next day, did a 24 point check on trailer, finding a loose rack on top, sealed it up also. Very happy with personal customer service from RV Service Department, Bob was able to help me with items I would need in the near future (at a great price), taking the time to explain things to help prevent problems in the future. I will stop in again anytime I am in the area. I trust them totally with my trailer. read more

I've owned 4 Travel Trailers and 1 Class C. I've bought all these from different dealers. I've deliberately stayed away from buying a camper from Camping World because of all the negative reviews and comments on social media sites and campgrounds. That all changed on 30 Nov 2018! We got totaled out 1 Oct and had been looking for a camper since. We looked at ALL the dealers in a 300 mile radius as well as RV Trader and Craigslist and found only a few that interested us. We drove to Byron on 30 Nov to look at all three dealers there. I told the wife "let's start with Camping World since we won't buy from them, then look at the other 2 dealers". We walked in the building, was greeted right away by the retail clerk, was noticed by a salesman and was greeted immediately by him. This young man by the name of "Nathan" turned out to be the most knowledgeable, polite, articulate salesman we have EVER encountered in the RV industry! And believe you me, we've seen a lot of them! Not only did he know his inventory, which is immense, but when I told him what we were looking for (22-26 ft. travel trailer w/rear bath) he immediately took us to those travel trailers. No wandering around trying to sell us what we weren't interested in. After finding exactly what we were looking for, we agreed to meet back with him at 3:00 after "checking with his competitors". The other 2 dealers in Byron didn't have anything close to what we had found, nor were their prices even close! So just before the agreed upon return time, which I'm sure Nathan thought he would never see us again, we returned to Camping World. To our great delight Nathan had moved out the travel trailer we were interested in and had applied power to it! After a thorough review of the amenities and particulars this camper offered with Nathan, we went inside to talk numbers. Nothing high pressure. Just calm talk with a lot of "yes sir's - no mam's". After being unable to come to an agreement, Nathan invited the Sales Manager in and unfortunately we still couldn't agree on a price. No big deal, we weren't in a hurry to buy. So after shaking hands with everyone we proceeded to buy an item the wife wanted and as we were checking out, we were approached by Nathan and his Sales Manager and congratulated for being the owner of a 2018 Keystone Cougar 22RBS if we still wanted it. They had called Corporate and they agreed to accept our extremely low offer. So that led us to meet the next guy in the deal - the Finance guru - "Myron from Byron"! Myron was a completely knowledgeable, highly articulate, genuinely honest, jovial business man! A complete joy to work with that ensured we got the lowest financing available, and no "you need the extended warranty deal". After only a few minutes the deal was inked and a date was set for delivery - 7 Dec. After leaving the dealership, I realized the number Nathan and I agreed upon was different from the number I signed up for with financing. I called Nathan, told him there was a $500.00 error and after a few minutes he confirmed there was indeed an error and they would provided me with a check to correct the difference! No hassle, no jacking me around, but rather an admission of a honest mistake, an offer of apology and a quick solution! Now, the final awesome experience in the whole deal! As soon as we arrived on 7 Dec we were greeted by Nathan and the orientation guy, Tyler from the Service Dept. Another polite, articulate, very knowledgeable employee! After a thorough review with Tyler, he setup the hitch I had purchased and brought with me. This is where it could have turned sour but Myron stepped in. I had understood the hitch would be assembled, installed and adjusted as part of the deal, per conversation on signing day with Myron. But somehow that got lost in translation between me and Myron. So the Service Dept. wanted to charge me a fee for Tyler's work on the hitch. I totally understood that time had to be accounted for, but after talking it over with Myron the dealer agreed to cover the cost. That was a gesture of goodwill that meant a lot to me! That showed me that Myron was a man of his word and was intent on making sure we had a positive experience, even if they lost money on the deal. This was without doubt the best RV buying experience we have ever had! I've dealt with much older people that has been in this industry for a much longer time. None of those people compare with Nathan (Sales) Myron (F&I) and Tyler (Service). It's my hope this great experience we've had will dispel the bad image many have of Camping World. I highly recommend you give them an opportunity to let them prove themselves to you as well! read more

Should have read Holly's review before I went there. Without a doubt the worst buying experience ever in Byron GA.Was literally left in the parking lot as store closed up without a temp tag or bill of sale for the new RV I purchased. Was forced to drive an hour home without a tag or bill of sale. Nice RV, good price..... rude arrogant and generally indignant sales and finance folks who could care less about customers after the sale. Wild assurances that contracts don't affirm. Walk around defect list at time of purchase is still being held and these folks lie as to why it can't be forwarded to me or another store. Every other Camping World I talked with would be happy to receive the list and corrrect these minor problems. Four times they have assured me that they will forward the repair list only to come up with some other lie on why I can't have another dealer do the service work. Once caught in the lie they make up another reason. All these lies are/have been refuted by other stores and Thor dealers, yet they keep making reasons up why they are the only ones that can do these repairs. General manager Chad Golf could care less as well.Do yourself a favor, save the hassle and go to a different Camping World to get what you want. Run from this place, run so fast that your hair will catch on fire!!!! read more
