They do good repair and work on RVs. BUT they want you to bring your RV and just leave it over there in outside in a parking lot - sometimes that can be weeks. Storms, winds, hail, and pounding heat - we always kept ours at least under a cover. Labor rate like most shops going up. read more

If you are thinking of using this place, run. They tell you what you want to hear and then start the adding machine. This is the most dishonest place I've ever been to. I took it in for a recall that I had already done the footwork on with Lippert and even presented them with this information. After two months they told me it was not covered. After I spoke with the GM, he then said they had messed up. Upon picking up my RV I noticed they had torn down my curtains with the rod included. Left electrical wires dangling from under the dash and tried to double side tape a piece on my windshield that didn't work, and is not right. After leaving I noticed a storage compartment cover moving. Upon inspection, They had left every compartment and hood latch open. After getting home I noticed my faucet was closed after I had already winterized. They had put water through my system to check a drain leak after it was winterized. I still have not looked at everything. Beware. I believe the negative comments and think the majority of the positives are made up. read more

Inferior quality work and customer service. After having the RV stuck in their shop just for one thing, I picked it up with even more issues they were responsible for, costing me more money. Even the one issue they were supposed to fix they didn't do it right in the first place, had to go back and forth for 6 months! I was referred by a tire place as there was a vibration in the steering wheel. Frank spent time with me as soon as I arrived. He test drove my RV and decided there was no abnormal sounds or vibrations.... With my new tires, everything was as it should be. He then spent time talking about routine maintenance. Be ware! in my opinion the reviews are very over rated. I would recommend you never leave your RV there over night and certainly not long term. IMO the bravado and creative responses do not match up with quailty of care and professionalism they brag about. Take photos of your motorhome before you bring it there, document everything especially if you own a well maintained older MH. IMO there are some hacks working there and the management isn't aware of it. There is always a long winded response in their defense to negative reviews, but I know my coach well and it was NOT cared for while in their care on their lot, in fact the condition it was returned to me was disgraceful and very unprofessional. Making up for unprofessional handling, mistakes and poor workmanship is NOT a good thing. Complete satisfaction after the insane money they charge would have been nice, but it wasn't that way for me. I own a fifth wheel that was purchased a year ago and the manufacturer suspension system for the dual axle was functional but let's be honest, "not the smoothest ride!" I had Apalachee RV order the Morryde sre4000 suspension system and new shackles. Curt was great to work with, pricing for product and labor were very clear and sent via e-mail for approval. I left the trailer and during the install process I had major issues in receiving slide-toppers that I had intended to install. Called Curt, he ordered them, sent approval for install-- Great customer service and the follow up at time of pickup was outstanding! After careful consideration and reading the reviews here on Yelp I took my older 2003-RV here to have a few things fixed. I told them I was in no hurry and wanted to save some money where we could safely. After quite a while i finally heard back from their service writer. It was like talking to the host of the Gong show. Never really made sense but had to happen. After going through this process of getting a call once every couple of weeks to be told it would cost another $1K worth of repairs if not more. I finally got out of there with a staggering invoice for over $4500. Expecting about $1800-$2200. at the most. I ended up dealing with the very uninterested manager that literally had his larger "sales" guy standing next to him like a goon waiting on a fight. Clearly they have been through this process quite a few times and sometimes need help getting you out of there. SURPRISE! After leaving their facility some of the work they performed failed within 5 miles of their facility. Took the motorhome to a dealer for the equipment they worked on and was told everything was left loose "like a child had been working on it". I then took it to two separate RV service centers and can assure you. Please stay away from this place. They smile and talk the right way but their business ethics are terrible on all fronts. From the counter guy completely taking advantage of me to the manager trying to get my check and get me out of there. Yes I was upset. I think anyone with any common sense would be more than upset. I expect some lengthy explanation from the manager. They have been waiting on this one to come out for a while. Sorry it took so long. I just got the RV back from getting it straightened out from this mess. They charge $175.00 per hour and caused more harm than good. They tell you they are trying to help in anyway they can. The sad truth is I was completely taken advantage of. The work performed amounted to about $2300. on the high side between 2 other RV service centers and a dealer. Make sure to read the managers reply. I was told their "learning curve" had cost me about $2K. There business ethics (Gong Show Host) cost me another $1k. Terrible experience. Warning! Do Not have any service work done here. I took my truck in to have generator serviced, which was under three year warranty. (It's been 2 & 2months). Fuel pump fault code 36- Dropped off my truck on scheduled appointment, didn't hear any information for day and half. When I called I was told they would have to call the generator manufacturer- to verify warranty. Well shouldn't that been done the first day, not after I had to call to check in on truck. Was told the fuel pump wasn't covered under warranty and the cost to replace would be $702. Keep in mind the fuel pump only cost $100 brand new. After I told them not to service and I would just come get the truck, I still had to pay the diagnosis charge of $120. Not happy but ok. After getting to the RV center they said they went ahead and changed the oil etc. ending up charging me $358 just to change the oil and to tell me the fuel pump is bad. Well that's what I told them when I brought it in. Keep this in mind! If they had just removed the old fuel pump and replaced with a brand new one the cost would have just been for the new pump plus 2 hours labor. I took the truck home and removed the pump in 30 minutes so there is no way it would even take two hours labor. I can't even call them "parts changers" because they didn't even do that. Curt and Tracy provided great customer service for my recent propane system install and wind fairing install. Rafiki (sp), my technician, walked me through all the work he performed, the safety features of the propane system, and how to use it. Initially they did not think they would be able to complete the work within my timeframe, but came through for me. This is a professional shop, and I will continue to use them for service on my custom van conversion. At home checks of the Propex heat system all checked out. I recently took my motorhome in for generator service.my generator would cut off after 10 minutes or so. I told them I had already taken the steps of diagnosing pretty far. I checked oil level and for aeration, checked the low oil pressure switch , and also replaced the fuel pump and filter because that was one of the most common causes of this concern with Dtc 36. I did all this because I have been an automotive technician for 27 years and the fuel pump is really cheap and away to change. After I replaced the fuel pump I noticed that when it cuts off it has no voltage to the fuel pump. I spoke with Cummins support and went over further troubleshooting and looked as if it needed a circuit board. Since I have an extended warranty and the control boards are expensive I took it in for service so I could take advantage of the warranty I purchased. I told them all of this and was printed on the work order. I received a call a few days later saying it needed a fuel pump and I questioned this saying I had just replaced. The advisor got angry and put me on speaker phone with the tech, advisor, and general manager. The Gm also got angry with me. I simply said if that's what it needs then do it and I'll pay for it. If it doesn't fix it then you pull that pump back off. So they replaced the fuel pump and called me a few days later and said it needs a circuit board. "We're not gonna charge you for the pump though "!!! So I said that's fine. He explained that they don't cover shop supplies, taxes, and the extra $15 an hour labor rate that apalachee charges above what my warranty covers. I agreed to pay it. So my generator now runs fine with my pump that was so called faulty and a new circuit board that I already knew was bad. The technician notes stated that they had to replace my fuel pump because it failed and then afterwards they found the circuit board faulty. Seems funny that I had them install my pump back on and it still runs! When I went to pick it up he was like " we didn't even charge you for replacing that fuel pump". We'll no kidding it wasn't bad and you put mine back on. Also the manager has not contacted me back after I left 2 messages. I would've gladly payed to fix it with no problem but the dishonesty from this place is unreal. I will not be bringing my RV there ever again. read more

We had warranty issues since we bought our 2018 Siesta 24ST, Thor referred us to a nearby dealer in Tucker, GA who we waited for six weeks for an appointment. They proceeded to freeze the unit requiring new sink faucet and new tankless hot water heater. ... more weeks in the shop. Fixed the problems they created, but still had warranty issues. Apalachee was not on Thor's list, but I had used them before on an earlier RV and they did a fantastic job.... a little farther away. But they got things fixed had a few problems along the way, but they went way out of their way to get us back on the road quickly. The heat pump / AC unit failed on my motorhome just as we hit the hot weather. It is a basement unit that is difficult to work on, hard to find parts for, and was operated in an extremely dusty area. Overall, I was very disappointed in Apalachee RV. I went to Apalachee because a representative at a seminar was very convincing. I was new to RVing, and thus was completely reliant on Apalachee's honesty and good work. When I bought my 10-year-old Monaco Safari Cheetah, which had a bit over 33,000 miles, I drove it more than 1,000 miles from Fargo, North Dakota to Atlanta. I took it right to Apalachee for the fixing of 8 items, hoping to later have them do more, depending on the cost to fix these intial items. I asked them to fix 7 items, but they didn't. The items were (1) fix "loose"/wandering steering, (2) fix leveling jacks, (3) fix sticking entry door, (4) fix fridge, which was not working, (5) fix storage latches, that do not stay shut, (6) check roof for leaks (what the representative at the seminar described as a "pressure test" to prevent the disaster of roof leakage), (7) provide estimate for washer/dryer installation (at the seminar the Apalachee representative had said this could be done). 1. The steering was to be fixed with a drag link to be shipped within one week. That didn't happen. It still had not arrived about six weeks later. After many requests for updates and status reports, I finally asked for a refund, only to be met with the assertion that I might have to pay "restocking fees" for the way-overdue part. Eventually I got my $2317 back for this. The steering improved with a Safety Steer, but Apalachee cautioned me not to use the Safety Steer without the drag-link fix first. But then nthey put on the Safety Steer anyway, and now I worry. 2. The leveling system worked, maybe a dozen times. It does not work now, eight weeks later. $180 down the tubes. 3. The entry door still stuck the day I picked up the RV. But I had to drive 1,000 miles for my son's Air Force graduation ceremony, and did not complain that day. The problem worsened. Later I found the problem: the bottom latch strike, the cylindrical thing that screws into the door frame, wiggles loose. I got five-dollars of Loc-Tite, put one drop on the threads, and the problem is solved. Apalachee charged me $180, and their work did not solve the problem, even for one day. I asked for a refund, which was denied. 4. Refrigerator. I was told that the fridge cannot be fixed, must be replaced, and that will also require removal of the window (a one-piece window in a Monaco). Estimate: $5993, not counting the roughly $2000 window (thus total would be about $8000!). Another RV place in Belton Texas since told me that's crazy, that the fridge parts are available, and fridge can be fixed for $2000, and without removing the windshield. 5. Storage door-work. I was told I would need 3 new door latches, and they'd be black, not matching unless I pay extra for painting, and that the latches and 3 hours' labor would be $648.36. When I arrived, no door-latch work was a apparent, the three that needed replacement were not replaced. I was told that the guts of one were swapped out--but I see no evidence of that. They still did not work; no evidence of them having been worked on. I watched, then worked with a couple guys to silicone the latches. Now they work fine--it's a silicone-and-use issue--nothing needed replacement. We negotiated down the price of this because they had not installed the $300 of parts they had said were necessary. 6. "Sealtech Test, $240," for 2 hours' labor. I paid for the test. The first night out, it rained, and we had Niagra Falls through our front TV, destroying it, and through our skylight in the rear. We had traveled 35.4 miles, from Apalachee RV to Commerce, GA. I had been told that the roof was "tight as a drum," (exact quote), but that the roof could have all its sealants and seams removed and replaced for an additional $1200. I said that it made no sense to remove seals and sealants tested and proved tight to be replaced with something that would be untested. Having had many boats, I know about sealing against water instrusion. Because the roof leaked like a sieve the first night out, clearly not "tight as a drum," and because the next morning I saw waht appeared obvious water-entry points, I asked for a refund. Refund denied. I was told that because things wiggle loose, and because they had recommended a new sealing job (that I declined because they had shown it to be tight), they'd give nothing back, not even partial credit. The slide seals, by the way, were terrible, rusted/rotted at several corners, such the the rain poured right in onto the floor, carpet, and floor tiles. All three of the four slide seals needed total replacement--Apalachee missed this--apparently didn't test for it. Also, two of the four slide toppers were ripped, and three of them were separated at the roof sid of the RV, such that water flowed from roof, onto slides, and onto topper inward into the RV, and onto the floor.
