Car was fixed as agreed. However, the front desk person and owner seemed suspicious of us...which was disconcerting. My momma wanted to pay with a check. She's a Vietnam veteran with CPTSD who rarely leaves the house. They wanted her to come down physically and swipe her card, which was just not realistic. They would not work with us on it and even hesitated to accept my partner's check card for some odd reason. Just because we are weird looking doesn't mean we are trying to get one over on anyone. We are honest people and expect to be treated as such, especially when spending 1600.00. I get that checks are going the way of the dinosaurs, and respect that any company can set their own policies and how they are enforced. I took my car to Auburn Automotive 11 months ago to have the air conditioner worked on. I spent $799 to have a new condenser put in. I took the car back and found out the condenser they installed had a crack in it. The part was covered under warranty but the labor was not. It cost an additional $440 to have the condenser put in. I expressed that It was ridiculous to have to pay for the labor again. Paul began getting nasty with me. I will NEVER take my car here again. You are in the customer service business. After Clinton's (NAPA in Auburn, GA) screwed up our Chevy Impala we took it to Auburn Automotive. Everybody that works at Auburn Automotive are super nice, friendly, and professional. While working on our car the mechanic ran into a problem and he had the courtesy to call and ask if we wanted to let him fix it. They did an awesome job and cheaper than Clinton's. They had our car to us in less than 2 days. We will DEFINITELY use them again and we will definitely be referring this company to EVERYBODY. read more

I stopped here out of necessity one day when my truck broke about a half mile away. I pulled in and was pleasantly surprised. The problem was a busted wheel bearing and I was in a super hurry. I was given a ride to my office while they waited for the replacement part to be delivered so they could install it. I received a call about 2 hours later saying it was ready and returned to pick it up. The bill was not nearly what I expected. This guy Paul is a piece of work, ask him bout his precious labor rate & you think I'd ask his hand in marriage to his daughter, like an insult, he told me that it bothered him that a person has no right to work on their vehicles except him. Well needless to say we left because I was not gonna leave my van under his care & get charge up the you know where. In the middle of our conversation if I didn't like what I had to say then "you can crank it up & get the hell out of here" while using his finger to the way out. The best part he (Paul) tells me & was quite proud of that he's been in business for 17 years without any advertising. I was like ok then why have a sign on the building & why is he on google as I found him. Whatever this guys has no business to talk to anyone like he did! I don't recommend this place. I don't trust anyone else to work on my car but these guys!! Extremely honest and work quickly! I don't ever feel like I'm overpaying.

I cannot recommend a better mechanic. I had taken my car to 2 other mechanics and had estimates from $1200 to $1800. I then took my car to Paul. He told me that there was nothing really wrong and only a belt needed replacing. Total, $135. Honesty is nice to come by in a mechanic. I have now had Paul do all my auto work. The quality is excellent and his prices are good. I highly recommend. read more
