It has been sitting outside on Sean's property collecting dust and debris for over four months. Sean originally took on this project and told us that if he got backed up, Jay would step in to help get the car up and running. We were completely fine with that. However, without any clear communication, we suddenly found ourselves dealing only with Jay. Communication since then has been terrible. We receive no updates unless my husband repeatedly calls, texts, and pushes for answers. Each time we are told additional money is needed for parts or labor, my husband immediately withdraws the funds and pays them. In December, we were told an additional $2,000 was needed for labor just to get started. My husband withdrew the $2,000 and paid it, and we were told that would cover the remaining labor. Since then, nothing has been done. No labor. No progress. No updates. All the parts needed to rebuild the entire front end are there. The car has not been touched. Now we are getting the runaround. Jay does not respond to calls or texts, and Sean claims he has nothing to do with it -- yet the vehicle is still sitting on Sean's property, and Sean is the one who originally took on the project before passing it off. At this point, this feels like a complete scam. We have documentation, text messages, proof of payments, and photos posted on their Facebook page. This situation is beyond unacceptable. We do not recommend Sean or Jay for any projects in the Gwinnett, Winder, or Barrow County areas. We are prepared to pursue legal action to resolve this matter. This has been 100% ridiculous and completely unprofessional.

I had waited 6 hours the day before, and no one came. He was able to fix the car within 24 hours. My starter and battery were not working. He gave me updates every step of the way. The job cost less than $700 for parts, warranty, and labor. He's truly a life saver, and my fix was super affordable. When I was getting ready to pick up the car, I couldn't get a ride, and he picked me up and I returned him to the shop. I couldn't ask for better service. I looked on online for a brake repair shop in Athens (thinking we could make it that far). God had other plans as Spikes kept populating (way closer). We called and they said they could get us in and out same day. Once we arrived they found a spot for us to park the travel trailer and even let us run an extension cord to assist with power. We had our 14 year old cat with us so having the RV powered for air and comfort was a blessing. They got the parts ordered, kept us abreast with all issues found and had us back on the road approximately 4 hours later. Promised to refund money if I brought back the parts the incorrectly installed, then when I got there they denied the refund stating I would hear from them after an "internal investigation" was done. No proof that the 963 dollar "repair" they did even actually needed to be done and conveniently the parts they removed that would proven that as well were "thrown away" just a day or two before. Overcharged for a repair that not only did not fix my problem, but caused new problems to my truck. Will be taking measures for a full refund. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH SPIKE SLOAT.
