We went to Colton's Social House for lunch today. I ordered the Ginger Chicken Brodo and side Caesar salad with blackened salmon. The brodo was excellent! So flavorful and plenty of chicken. I also loved my salad the salmon was cooked to perfection! My son ordered the full Caesar salad with steak and my mom had the brisket French dip with beer battered fries. I ordered the "Dancing through Life" drink and it had cotton candy and edible glitter. So cute! We were seated immediately and our server Travis was phenomenal! Just me & the hubs for dinner on a Saturday night. We decided to go last minute, but luckily there was no wait for a table. They have plenty of seating indoors, on the patio, and at the bar. Our cousin said they have the best burgers, so we both ordered "the Smash," which isn't a "smashburger" at all, but is referring to the avocado "smash" (i.e. basically a chunky guacamole). It's a 1/2 pound beef patty cooked to order with bacon, cheese, and the usual accompaniments. Oh man, this was clearly one of the best burgers I've ever had! The beef patty was quality, not dry or greasy. Crispy strips of bacon, fresh avocado, nice lightly toasted brioche bun that held this big burger together. Fries were crispy and fresh tasting also. We ordered a side of onion rings for our appetizer, which were way too oily and basic. Not a good thing to start off with. Would try a different ap, or just wait for the main course. It's a lot of food! Good service on top of that great burger was 5 stars for me! Pro tip: I think they rotate items on the menu seasonally or sooner, so things we saw online were not available on the actual dining menu. But I'm pretty sure you'll be able to find something at Colton's you will love! read more

Service was great. Very attentive and quick with the orders. Inside is a bit dim and felt overly crowded. The restrooms was very hot and steamy, no cold air flow and it gets packed since there is only 2 stalls. Food was delicious, everything we chose was quite nice and unique. I would definitely come back to try other dishes along with their drink options. Lots to choose from. Price ranges from $15 and up from appetizers, starters and entrees. Large portions, everything is shareable. The Birria eggrolls were goood, the strawberry salad, the wings came out good but I would try a different sauce. I ordered the PERI PERI wings, flavor can be new to others but it wasn't bad. The flat bread was good. Truffle Mac was creamy and delicious. The atomic bombs which basically are bacon wrapped jalapeño were bomb. We ordered the mother dragon drink? It's like a dragon fruit margarita or cocktail, strong and delicious. special thanks to Travis for another great visit at Colton's. The food and drinks were outstanding. Colton's is a highlight of local food options, and we try to visit as often as possible. Only two things at this visit could have possibly been improved to make a great visit be an outstanding one: there was a wait for seating, even though only about 25% of tables were occupied; understandably, this may have been due to staffing or other challenges. However, this resulted in us sitting at the bar, and then a complicated transfer/closure of the tab to the table once available, even though plenty of tables were available for the 20 minutes or so before we were seated. Second, once dessert arrived, our in progress meals were whisked away (not by Travis) before we had a chance to say we were still working on them or wanted to pack them to go. We were sad to see such great food go to waste! of course, we'll be back, possibly even this week. The overall experience remains unmatched for the area, and we love supporting local business. I cannot say anything bad about this place. I have tried about 10 different food items on the menu and all of them have been amazing. You cannot go wrong with any of their burgers - and their beer battered fries are absolutely delicious (must try with their ranch or chipotle aioli). Their wings are soooo good and their nachos are amazing if you eat pork. Their flatbreads are also a high recommendation. Alcoholic beverages are very tasty and inexpensive. We visited for brunch and Steve was our server- they were great! My husband got the Craic Stack which is a seasonal item for St Patrick's day. Honestly this is a very shareable menu item that is or probably should be meant as an appetizer. He had plenty to take home! I got the strawberry salad as always because I can never pass it up and of course it did not disappoint. Added grilled chicken for protein and the chicken was seasoned well and juicy. The star of the show for us was the Spinach Artichoke Al Caldo which is a thick creamy spinach artichoke cheese spread topped with a few small dollops of Calabrian chili sauce and Calabrian chili threads, served in a skillet with toasted focaccia slices to use as a vehicle to deliver the tasty goodness straight to your taste buds. It was SO good, I was surprised to see it missing from any Yelp photos/reviews. Our server said it was a newer item. This was the first time I have been there. I know I'm late to the party. I ordered the Cobb salad and it was delicious. We also ordered zucchini chips and wings as appetizer the food came out hot and was fresh. I didn't care for the dipping sauce the zucchini came with but the creamy buffalo and Thai chili sauce for the wings was so good. My mom ordered the clam chowder and she loved it. My husband ordered a burger and fries and he really enjoyed the beer battered fries. My niece ordered the Alfredo pasta and said it was very good. It is a little pricey but worth it for the quality of the food. There was also a variety of drinks available alcoholic and non alcoholic. I ordered an Arnold Palmer and my server was quick to refill my drink. The service was excellent and ambience was good. We will definitely go back. read more

Super glad this place was opened on the 4th of July. Not only were lots of places closed but the menu looked great and we really wanted to eat here. Thankfully it did not disappoint. We sat in the bar and had great service. Our server was super nice and very helpful with recommendations for our drinks and dinner. We started with a nice glass of wine and beer. I had the mushroom/ Gruyère flatbread which had a ton of flavor and was cooked perfectly. My husband had the 4 Alarm Hamburger but our server suggested subbing the ghost pepper cheese for pepper jack. My husband took that suggestion and said his hamburger and the fries were fantastic. After going to many overrated restaurants recently, this place hit the spot. I'm from Roseville/the greater Sacramento area, and this place had some of the best comfort food I've had in a while. All food was hot, tasty, and unique in quality. Bison Burger was juicy, fries were large and plentiful. My partner enjoyed the lemonade, saying it was some of the best. This place is not cheap, but it's worth the price. The most notable thing for my partner and I was our waiter, Kye. Kye had a lot of personality and was very special. He gave us good, honest recommendations on the menu, as well as a refill discount on our lemonade. He was also mindful to not rush our dessert when we were still eating. My partner said Kye was their favorite waiter they have had in a long time, maybe ever. My birthday is actually tomorrow, and I didn't say it to Kye or any other workers. But "The Smash" was an absolute triumph. Holy cow, that thing is good, along with the beer-battered fries. I really enjoyed the menu too, they had some delicious takes on appetizers--the bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers and sweet chili wings--were very unique, it was hard not to order more of them. If you go to Colton's the first thing you do is ask to be seated in Travis section. Tonight after a very trying day at work, my wife and I went to Colton's to decompress and just enjoy ourselves. Travis was able to read the mood and was the most attentive and supportive waitstaff we have had in a long time. (However, those with kids know they will crash a date night if given a chance and we had a very brief decompression date night). He checked back with us multiple times, ensured our drinks, food and overall experience was what we needed and did not need for us to ask him for service as he was there for us. Watching him work his section, he was not only attentive to us, but the rest of his area. BTW, the food was excellent (I had the pasta with shrimp, my wife had nachos and our daughter had chicken wings).
