We had two electrical issues at our home that needed to be addressed and read great things about the folks at Coltech and gave them a call. Our pool pump kept tripping the breaker and an outlet in the kitchen was not working at all. Brian was able to come out the next day and tackled both of these for us with ease. He gave us a reasonable quote up front for the work, with no surprise fees or add-ons. He explained all of the work and knowledgeably answered all of our questions, making sure we were completely satisfied. He completed the work even faster than anticipated, and was extremely friendly and professional. Coltech will be the only electricians our family will ever need! read more

James and Dave put a new light fixture over my dining room table and did a super job. Really nice guys. Cleaned up perfectly. I wouldn't trust a handyman with electrical services and Coltech will be who I go with every time. read more

Had Coltech work on our older house renovation 4 years ago. They installed new breaker box and connections to electrical main. This AM heard a loud "boom" and lost all electric. Turned out to be a transformer explosion. After SRP rectified the problem, Coltech came out to check our Main box & fuses promptly, and as usual were very courteous and helpfull. Great group that knows the meaning of customer service and suppoty. Would use no others!!! read more

I was 100% impressed with the services today. James and his partner Dave were extremely nice and friendly. They had to ground a few outlets for us which was requested by our home inspection report because we are selling our house. They are dog friendly people and also kids friendly. I'm always impressed when people have a real positive attitude which is rare in Arizona. They also charged a very reasonable price. Very happy our friends recommended them to us. We wish this business well in these trying times. read more

These guys are amazing. I've had them out twice now. So first, James is very friendly. He's been early to every appointment we've sent. Quotes are always accurate. I know what to expect because he's consistent and reliable. Also an animal lover. The first time they came out was two years ago, and the second time was just today. The quality of service has not changed nor their business practice. Second, James and David have something that makes them special and unique. They have a way maintaining professionalism but when they're in your home, but they feel like friends. This is rare to find in a contractor. You instantly trust them. Third, if you don't use them, you're making a mistake. Great pricing, great people, reliable and trustworthy! What else could you ask for? read more

This is a company you can expect to be honest, not sugar coat anything, and to get the work done correctly. They will tell you how it is, what actually needs to be done, and get the work done in a timely manner. read more

Came out the next day. Very efficient and reasonable pricing. I had an issue with an outlet in my garage, and was able to fix quickly. Even called ahead of my scheduled appointment to see if he could come early! read more

Stay Away. Incompetence is the word that describes this company. I had them do some simple electrical wiring. Did not work. They refused to fix the problem. Finally, I had to hire another company to get it done correctly. read more

Found Coltech from a neighborhood referral. Had a major wiring need and they came out promptly. Gave me a quote and when I told them I was getting other bids, they said, no problem. I received 3 other bids and Coltech was not the cheapest but my wife had such a good feeling from her meeting with them, she said "go with Coltech, if they are close". I am so glad I did. They came out when promised, made suggestions and were extremely efficient. We like the work they did, as well as the follow up. No need to look elsewhere! read more

James and Dave came out to install cable on the other side of my living room, which we could not get the cable companies to do for us because they had to crawl in the attic. They also installed a new light fixture and adjusted two others that were installed incorrectly during the house remodel. They even repaired some exposed wires they found in the attic to make sure we were up to code and safe. They were very quick with giving us an estimate and scheduling a date to come out and to do the work. They were even very nice and put the remainder of our tv stand together and mounted the tv for us. Very professional, polite, and inexpensive for the work they did for us. read more

Coltech Services just redid my box on older home we purchased and brought it up to code. Price was very competitive (had 4 other bids), job professionally done, ask for James to handle your jon, very good. Matt Corey read more

This was my second time this summer using Coltech Eletrical Services. Both experiences were pleasant, prices were reasonable, and they take a consultative approach, which I love. James installed this dining room chandelier and a dimmer today. Thank you James! read more

Seems like finding good work is hard to come by, BUT... if you are looking for a quality electrician, stop looking, you found them! I had set an appt. with James to come and look at and then finish some work that a previous company didn't make so "simple". James came out, gave me a price that was very reasonable and set a date to come back. We did have a mix up in dates, but he and his partner did get here even while I was sleeping, did the outside work without even waking me up and then called later so I could pay him. Quality work, reasonable prices, easy to work with... what else could you ask for! Actually, there was one item where I had a fan light that the light wouldn't work. A previous company wanted to make a mountain out of a mole hill. Not Coltech Electrical. He actually suggested a solution that was a lot easier and less expensive! He suggested instead of spending all kinds of time, tracing down wiring, or adding new wiring, to just add a remote control. Great idea. I had done that before, so I said I could do it. He was fine with that. I already had one too. Unfortunately, although wired correctly, it didn't work. I called James up, he came back again and in 5-10 minutes, cut out a module of some kind, wired it back as I had done, and works like a charm!Even has features that I wouldn't have had with new wiring, like a delayed exit from the room where the light stays on for 30 seconds after shutting it off so you can leave the room at night with the light on. Then he took a look at something else that I hadn't talked about when the appointment was made. Once again, this is a great company. Reasonable, Professional, On time, and quality work. I know who I will call for future electrical work. I hope you will also. read more

Used them to do some minor repairs on issues that were cited by the Home Inspector. Same day service, professional job and reasonable prices. I would highly suggest calling them for any electrical work. read more

James and David were very pleasant to work with. I found them here on Yelp and decided to give them a go. I just bought a house that had a laundry list of mostly minor issues that needed to be address. They showed up when they said they would show up, offered a fair price and, as far as I can tell did everything they said they would do. When I had questions they were happy to answer them. I was also appreciative that they cleaned up their mess. Will definitely go to again in the future. read more

I've used Coltech Electrical Services twice now, and will continue to do so. The most recent visit took place this past weekend. James showed up on time. The work was completed in a timely and professional manner. James also made it a point to clean up the areas the work was completed in. Coltech Electrical Services is great!! If you need a reliable electrician with fair prices, they are the company to call. read more

I needed an outlet moved for a master bathroom cabinet install. Brian arrived on time & finished and outlet quickly. The cost was comparable to other electricians and he was very professional. I would use Coltech again if the need arises. read more

Very pleased with their service and pricing. I called to get a quote and they were able to make it out in a day or two notice. The technician was very knowledgeable and their quote was much lower than another quote that I received. read more

I needed an outlet converted ASAP. This place certainly delivered. They were the only electrical services place that not only answered their phone on a Monday morning (a normal business day), but had a guy come out and give me an estimate. He was able to do a 4 hour job in 2 hours and take my payment over the phone. read more

Great company. James came out, did some rewiring and installed a switch for me. Honest, hardworking and very professional. I would recommend them to everyone. read more

Not your typical Arizona service provider. James showed up early and called me the day prior to confirm our appointment. He gave me a fair estimate for a home I was going to purchase and made some recommendations. I didn't purchase the house due to the current owner not wanting to make the repairs I requested, but I would trust Coltech for any future electrical service needs. I highly recommend them and appreciate their professionalism. read more

Excellent experience... We had a list of items: outlets, porch light and smoke alarm installs and even a chandelier over the garage washer/dryer. All were handled at a price that definitely undercuts the major companies. We will use them again. read more

We called James to fix an overhead light and were impressed by their professionalism and efficiency. We would highly recommend their services again. read more

We were getting shocked from electricity when using our kitchen sink, weird problem. Coltech sent someone out the same day, it was not easy to figure out what the problem was but they did so within the hour! Very reasonable rates and pleased with their service. Brian, the service technician, took time to carefully explain what the issue was and some options we had moving forward. I'd definitely use them again. read more
