    Yummy omelet.
    Young C.

Last stop for food in Sedona and this place was recommended by Vineyard tour guide. I was little hesitant because it was a BBQ place for breakfast. Well was I wrong. Nice decor inside and staffs were so friendly. The price was spot on and affordable. Ordered Brisket country hash and eggs, biscuits and gravy, and The Vaquero omelet. Im not a huge omelet fan fun the ingredients sounds good. Food came out pretty fast and they looked yummy. The portions were huge.. I regret ordering so much food. My omelet was so yummy with nice combination of veggies and the brisket. Hashbrowns was also pretty good, nice crispy outside and soft inside. Biscuits and gravy was also very good, and portion was huge. The country hash and eggs was also pretty darn good. Eggs cooked to perfection and brisket was also yummy. I love the different varieties of BBQ sauce and other condiments they had was nice. Habanero BBQ sauce had good flavor and little spice. Over all the food was very good and portions were huge for what you pay. I definitely come back here if or when I come back to Sedona. Over all experience was great.

Its a walk-up-and-order type of restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. They have outdoor seating with misters. Looks like they never clean those chairs outside, tons of flies everywhere. Great view from the patio of Sedona red rocks, cant complain about that. They have 5 different bbq sauces to choose from and you get as many sides of it as you want. I got the ABc Burger it was pretty good but not mouthwatering delicious. Very fresh and was better with some BBQ sauce or ranch. My partner got the Brisket burger which was cooked very well, it was mouth watering delicious and the best brisket burger he said he has ever had. Mac n cheese was good, but the flavor//spice was not consistent. And very THICK. The flies were annoying but manageable, i guess it comes with the territory?

Just trust me. Go here. Holy cow the ribs and burgers are ah-may-zing. It's laid back, great music, and high energy. The people cooking know what they are doing. The first bite of my burger made me pause, mouth full, and just appreciate the immediate satisfaction. Great grilled taste. You'll be happy if you do this like I did. You order at the counter and get your plates when they call your name. It was a fast turn for us, and I didn't see anyone waiting.

One of the best barbecues in Sedona! While the wait is usually a while for dine in, to go is a great option for this place. The brisket and pulled pork were fan favorites as the flavors were so good.

The food was good! I had the brisket sandwich and baked beans. I wasn't a huge fan of the baked beans though. I also had a bourbon flight. I thought it was reasonably priced. You order at the front and then pick up your food so it's not your normal sit down and be served restaurant. We didn't know that. They have a great selection of food overall on the menu. Folks were nice. And the ambiance is very chill. I love that you can sit outside because the scenery is FABULOUS in the distance. This was the perfect spot after a long day of hiking.

I knew we were in for a treat when as soon we parked, the smell from the smoker penetrated through the car door. Our group ordered 2 platters with multiple sides. My favorite meat was the brisket, side was the Mac and cheese. Great meal overall. I'd recommend.

Came highly recommended. We expected a nicer place ... had to make 3 trips to get everything to the table. No seat inside and not many outside. It was hot out so would have preferred an inside dining experience. We got the meat sampler and we're underwhelmed. Left alot of iit. Got the ranch beans and mac n cheese. No one like the mac n cheese. Beans were good. The dill pickle was fav part of the meal...turkey was fav meat. . Honestly wouldn't be llikely to return.

The good, the bad, the ugly... Here we go! First of all, this is an order at the counter and then you get your order and take it to your seat. This is a seat yourself. Larger parties will probably not fit inside (bigger than 4 is a larger party). I'm not sure why yelp shows it is good for larger parties... But you get to find a spot that will work and push the tables together yourself. We are a family of 6. So outside we went... Good: The smoked platter is decent... And they have apple juice for kids...the chairs are comfortable. And that's about it for good. The bad: The kids hamburger was so burnt my son wouldn't eat it. See the pics. The smoked Mac and cheese, which is supposed to be one of the popular items was not very good at all. The child chicken tenders were pounded so thin, I'm not sure there was more meat than breading (again, see pics), and when you order something one way it isn't guaranteed you will get it that way. The ugly: if you don't come the second they call your number, they will continue to call it every 1-2 seconds (no joke), louder each time, and then add your name to the number and keep calling it.. full experience below. We chose this place because of the raving reviews. They also had children options on their menu. Also I was impressed at what one person said about their customer service... Maybe they had a good day, but the day we went.. those individuals were NOT working. My husband and I came in with our 4 children. One is ASD and the youngest had just need potty trained. We went to order and I explained my son who is autistic didn't want the friend chicken sandwich, only the chicken. I asked if that was possible. She assured me it was and so we ordered it. We also ordered... Smoked Mac and cheese, basket of sweet potato fries, basket of regular fries, small smoked brisket, smoked meat sampler, child cheeseburger and fries, child chicken tenders and fries, 3 sodas, 1 apple juice, 1 lemonade specialty drink, and one beer. After ordering, my husband and I were going back and forth from outside to inside (there was no room for 6 inside... Only outside around the corner of the door) getting drinks... Soon my 3 yr old who has recently potty trained announced he had to go #2. Now if you are a parent, you understand how big of a deal this is.. so I go to take him to the bathroom. While inside, our number is called. Now I can't rush my 3 yr old (though I tried the more stressed I became)... And they proceeded to call our number every 1-2 seconds, getting louder every time and then added my name to it. When my son was finally done in the restroom, I rushed out very very frazzled and explained we were in the bathroom. Come to find out, even though they were calling our number incessantly... Our full order want even ready. The Mac and cheese was placed out as we had already taken the other food out and I had happened to go back in for some sauce. So at this point, I'm stressed, trying to get the other things we need to eat... And finally get back to the table. That's when we discovered the burnt hamburger (my son had maybe a bite or two), the flat chicken tenders (if you can call them chicken with as little meat as there was), and the fact that they didn't make the one accommodation I had asked for but gave us the whole fried chicken sandwich. Needless to say, we won't be back. Anyone with small children or special needs children.. I wouldn't recommend coming here. We definitely won't be back.

Not sure this place can handle the March Sedona volume. Chaos, cramped interior and after being open for quite some time - the short cuts are obvious. Jerky texture ribs and although we ordered 'Rich' (vs. lean) brisket, it was still over done. As a local, I might try again in a few months, but the only saving grace was Jill behind the bar, she was a gem. (Rushing home to floss, bleach)

Colt Grill is fantastic! I had their brisket platter and the brisket was incredible. It was so tender and extremely well cooked. Fantastic flavor! Service was quick and everyone was friendly. They have a wicked sauce bar too so everyone can find their own favorite BBQ sauce. They have a nice choice between indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a nice bar with a couple TVs. If you sit outside you may order more than you think you need because the smell from the smoker is INCREDIBLE. Overall, will absolutely be coming back again for more deliciousness and recommend anyone to try out Colt!

Brisket platter ( 3 pieces)- generous!

Great bbq joint on the 179 outside of Sedona proper. Vibe was a walk up -to order- after you grab menus and a seat. We had the dog so we ate outside on the patio where the good smells of the smoker hung in the air. We had brisket tacos for the gf hubby, spicy turkey sausage sandwich and coleslaw for me and a brisket plate with some mac and cheese for the son. Yummy lunch for when it's cold in beautiful Sedona!

They didn't come with sour cream or guacamole for being $23 seems a bit pricey. The tacos were so spicy I had to stop eating them as my mouth was on fire. When the waiter suggested them he should have mentioned they were spicy. Also, the meat in the taco was luke warm and the tortilla wasn't fresh. My daughter had the cheese enchiladas that she shared with me. They were bland. The salsa looked odd and I couldn't figure out why. I ordered a side of guacamole and it was $8, and drinks $4 a piece. They nickel and dime you on everything. $65 plus tip for 2 people for mediocre food. I'd go somewhere else. Chipotle is better.

Their chips and salsa are okay, super Americanized style salsa but tasty enough. Randomly their Caesar salad isn't too bad either! I wasn't craving any Mexican dishes one day and went with the salad and was pleasantly surprised. I do NOT recommend birria tacos; highly disappointing and lacked flavor and the authentic textures of quesabirria tacos. Boring. Good vibes inside. Lots of colors, fun upbeat music, and most importantly happy and helpful service every single time. We've even see actual Javalinas out the window while dining once. There's a couple outdoor tables too for when the weather is nice and suns not hitting. Parking can get crowded during tourist season because it's in a shopping center w multiple businesses, but any spot to park is not too far to walk. Note there is a one way exit.

I would definitely recommend making reservations because it can be quite a wait otherwise, especially during peak times. That said, they seem well equipped to handle both small and large parties, which is nice if you're traveling with a group. They really do Tex-Mex right here. At a lot of places you can tell when things are canned or pre-made, but that was not the case here. Everything tasted fresh, from the guacamole to the sauces, and the flavors were bold without being overwhelming. I especially liked the fajitas, and the portions are generous, so you definitely get your money's worth. I'm not a big drinker, but the margaritas and other drinks seemed very popular and I saw a lot of people enjoying them. The overall vibe is lively and fun, with a great energy that fits Sedona well. If you can sit on the patio, the red rock views are an added bonus and really elevate the experience. The wait staff was incredibly attentive. They even kept us updated on when our food would be coming out, which I appreciated. They really went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and that everything came out promptly. I also liked the little details, like the javelina imagery throughout the restaurant, which gives it some personality and ties into the local feel. They bring out complimentary chips and salsa, and they're constantly refilling them, which is always a plus. A couple small things to note that others mention as well: it can get pretty loud when it's busy, and parking in the area can be a bit tight, so plan accordingly. Overall, it's a great place with a fun atmosphere, solid food, and consistently good service. I know the next time we are back in Sedona, we will definitely be coming here again.
