I had forgotten what my friend ordered, but whatever beer he chose he loved too. We also shared The Crispy Chicken Wings with Buffalo Sauce, which you order at the bar, give them your cell # and the food truck texts you when your order is ready and you pick it up at the food truck. It's always nice to see small businesses helping each other. The food was good overall. The beans were a tad salty for my taste, but the chicken had good flavor. The steak was my favorite. It was tender, well-seasoned, and I'd definitely order it again. I also tried the horchata. It was refreshing and tasted much healthier than a traditional horchata. If you're expecting the classic sweet, cinnamon-forward flavor, this isn't quite that. It has a lighter, more natural taste, which I still enjoyed. Overall, it was a good experience, and I'll definitely be back to try more items on the menu.

Extra points for being dairy free as milk is not my bodies friend. The tamale however was a major let down. I was so close to just sending it back, but was on a time crunch and starving. The masa was so salty. The mole sauce was barely existent and had no complexity or flavor really. I didn't taste the chocolate or the Chile . Just blah. The toppings and horchata helped make it possible to consume despite the saltiness. So overpriced salty tamale gets 2 stars, ambiance 5, and horchata 5, which is why this place gets a three stars overall. My whole body was leaning through the window so that I could reach the bell that was on other side of counter for which I could ring it real loud. I ordered a pizza that had arugula, avocado, bacon, and feta cheese. It was tasty! There were portions where the dough could have been cooked longer. My husband ordered a burger and addition of avocado which he discovered halfway into finishing it off, was missing but didn't bother to say anything. And he had fries and onion rings which were absolutely fantastic and you can tell I had some.
