Superb!! Super nice people! Excellent food - briscuit and burgers were yum! The guy bringing out the food was helpful, nice. We drop by every time we come to Sedona. It's in back of the shops by the strange clown art (see photo)

Outstanding BBQ, cash only, food truck/trailer in a parking lot. Open limited hours. This is small trailer in the parking lot of Relics Restaurant. It's take-out only and cash only. I've been here a few times and it's been a little hard to figure out the hours, but I finally spoke to the people running it and got it straight. With all that said, the food is excellent. I've had the pork ribs, beef brisket, beans, and coleslaw. We didn't like the coleslaw, but it's just a style choice (it's too creamy for us), nothing is actually wrong with it. The people are friendly and they'll work with you if you want something not quite on the menu (like a larger portion of beans). We think it's the best BBQ in Sedona.

Ok so I was so excited to go here. There is something really comforting about a tamale done right!…read moreThe glowing reviews and pictures seemed promising. The restaurant itself has a lot of character, it full of textures and colors, had a cute little fountain outside. It just feels homey and welcoming. The menu...is hella pricey for a tamale. I mean even with inflation these days I could get a tamale at most spots where I live for like half the price. I just told myself it's Sedona just except it lol so I went wild and got their extra special tamale with lots of topping to make it a more complete meal. I chose the chicken mole for my filling. I also got their dairy free horchata. First thing the horchata was delicious! Creamy, great texture, not to sweet, seasoned just right. Extra points for being dairy free as milk is not my bodies friend. The tamale however was a major let down. I was so close to just sending it back, but was on a time crunch and starving. The masa was so salty. The mole sauce was barely existent and had no complexity or flavor really. I didn't taste the chocolate or the Chile . Just blah. The toppings and horchata helped make it possible to consume despite the saltiness. So overpriced salty tamale gets 2 stars, ambiance 5, and horchata 5, which is why this place gets a three stars overall. I wanted to love this spot so bad, and maybe it was a bad day, or the wrong thing to get...but their name is literally tamaliza. Their tamale should have rocked my world.

The menu was posted and easy to read. There were tons of options, my favorite, or the fried pineapple and pickles. Also, the rice was very flavorful few of my friends to get the burger or not impressed but everyone who did get tacos or something of that nature enjoy their food. There is outdoor seating available, but the biggest drawback is you'll have to be prepared to wait. Great customer service it just seemed like they needed more help.

Picture are some of what we experienced. It was a Friday evening and they must have been preparing for a busy night as we could see people in the kitchen as its door was open. The window to order from was up, and we could see it say, ring the bell for service. I couldn't find a bell and was looking alongside the window frame for a buzzer that would ring, I stuck my head and looked to see if there was any like at a hotel registration desk, nothing. My whole body was leaning through the window so that I could reach the bell that was on other side of counter for which I could ring it real loud. I ordered a pizza that had arugula, avocado, bacon, and feta cheese. It was tasty! There were portions where the dough could have been cooked longer. My husband ordered a burger and addition of avocado which he discovered halfway into finishing it off, was missing but didn't bother to say anything. And he had fries and onion rings which were absolutely fantastic and you can tell I had some.

We ordered an Avocado Burger with pepper jack cheese and a 1/2 rack of pork ribs. We choose the ranch beans with meat as the sides. The Avocado burger was delicious, but the highlight of the meal were the ranch beans and pork ribs. The ribs were very meaty and were cooked perfectly. I judge a good rib based on its flavor without any sauce and this was a great rib. Juicy, meaty and flavorful. They have four different kinds of BBQ sauce, all tomato based. Their original BBQ sauce definitely added some good flavor to the ribs and hamburger and their tangy flavor BBQ sauce was also good. The ranch beans were delicious, good solid bean flavor with chunks of meat in a light sauce. Service was friendly and attentive, but a rush of customers slowed the service down. However overall I would definitely return due to the ribs and ranch beans,

She came inside and asked for our drink order, when she brought me a bottle coke, I mentioned I would rather have a soda on tap, she did not seemed happy. After my wife and I order, she brought our food ( brought entree BEFORE appetizers) backwards and blame the cooks. she brought my wife's pulled pork and my brisket sandwich, we were ready to eat and well, our appetizer showed up, now let review this food: 1) Nachos were very good, except for the brisket and pulled pork. 2) Pull3d pork sandwich was watery, the sauce tasted watered down and tasteless! 3) My brisket sandwich , dry flavorless . Now for the service, we had to ask one of the waitresses inside for a drink refill since our waitress was outside talking to said gentlemen , same waitress had to get our "our" waitress attention for her to give us our bill, s0 in conclusion. Never again! Poor food, ecen worse service!! Wish owner/s would read the reviews and see that their employees are killing their business !!
