Superb!! Super nice people! Excellent food - briscuit and burgers were yum! The guy bringing out the food was helpful, nice. We drop by every time we come to Sedona. It's in back of the shops by the strange clown art (see photo)

Outstanding BBQ, cash only, food truck/trailer in a parking lot. Open limited hours. This is small trailer in the parking lot of Relics Restaurant. It's take-out only and cash only. I've been here a few times and it's been a little hard to figure out the hours, but I finally spoke to the people running it and got it straight. With all that said, the food is excellent. I've had the pork ribs, beef brisket, beans, and coleslaw. We didn't like the coleslaw, but it's just a style choice (it's too creamy for us), nothing is actually wrong with it. The people are friendly and they'll work with you if you want something not quite on the menu (like a larger portion of beans). We think it's the best BBQ in Sedona.

Also had a side of the sweet potato fries. Friendly, high energy place, service is counter pick up, so nothing too special there. We were considering getting cocktails but decided to just get soda because we didn't want to deal with another line and transaction. I imagine other people feel similarly so they may be losing sales due to this odd arrangement. We both had burgers- I had the jalapeño popper burger which was excellent and my fiancé had the cheddar burger. Burgers are so huge and served with a ton of lettuce and tomato and piled high on a brioche bun. The bun and the apricot BBQ sauce were the best. Real jalapeños and cream cheese. A manager came over to chat with me after we finished and we were just finishing up our sodas and she was super nice and cared to hear our feedback. Bathrooms were also very nice and clean. The soda is self serve but we got our burgers very quickly- it is not table service- you retrieve them at the kitchen counter when your number is called on their speaker system. Look forward to returning here! Really nice experience- they also have both indoor and outdoor seating on a patio.

Upon visiting Sedona for the first time, we noticed that photos of food didn't seem that impressive…read moredespite prices being impressive. Outlaw Grille served as an exception. You order at the window, take a number, and seat yourself in a small shopping complex. While there's the option to sit inside a small/air-conditioned room, there's also shaded patio seating and seating in the hallway of the connected small shopping building, where most of the tables are. It's completely shaded but open to outside air. After ordering the The Morning After burger (Fried Egg, Bacon, Cheddar, Fresh Jalapenos) + small Seasoned Fries (for 1-2 people), we waited about 15 minutes for the food to be brought to our table. They were kind enough to cut the burger in half and provide an egg for each half, since they knew we were sharing!! Indeed, 1 burger and 1 small fry is enough to feed 2 people. As expected, the burger was juicy, flavorful, and the egg was perfectly fried to still be runny. Outlaw Grille is a small burger joint packed with big flavors. No frills, no nonsense -- just good ass food at reasonable prices. Bonus: asking for a free water cup will score you delicious Sedona spring water!

The egg was cooked perfectly, the spice level had just enough kick without turning lunch into a personal challenge. The silkiness of the egg is one of my favorite additions to any burger.  I've also had the pulled pork and brisket sandwiches in the past, and I'd recommend both. This place knows its way around meat without making it complicated. The sweet potato fries are another win crispy, hot, and not doing that sad limp fry thing that ruins everyone's afternoon. Overall, this is a staple Sedona burger stop for me. If you're coming off the trails and want something satisfying, this is the move. It can get very busy in the afternoon on the weekend, so just be aware that the wait can vary.

We had the homemade fried cactus for the first time, and we absolutely loved it! A special thank you to our waiter, Joel, for his excellent recommendations and outstanding service. He was incredibly polite, friendly, and helpful, which made our visit even more enjoyable. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and a great Western vibe, right in the heart of Sedona. We'll definitely be back next time we're in town!

Burger was decent but patty was thin and I couldn't tell if it was hand pressed or from frozen. Sampler was adventurous but wound up not being that great. Rattlesnake sausage tasted like pure smoke. Bison meatballs were tender (slightly gamey as most bison is) but decent. I liked the cactus fries with prickly pear sauce but family did not. Chicken sandwich was overdone to the point of being dry and extremely dark brown. (It was the last item to come out and we were told they were just waiting for it to cook.) Fries were good. Restaurant gets great reviews... Maybe we should have tried something different or it was just an off night. With all the options in Sedona, I'm not sure we would go back.

We left both of our meals 3/4 uneaten. We had the calamari as an appetizer- it was soggy, but that wasn't the problem tbh- it was the other two dishes we ordered: the southwest pasta tasted bad. How do you screw up pasta? The description of the dish sounds delish, pasta, mushrooms, chicken, spinach in a tomato cream sauce, it was horrible. Something must have been spoiled in the above listed ingredients to have it taste that way. I had ordered the chicken lettuce wraps as my main and it tasted reheated. The Paloma and Smoky peach margarita had way too much alcohol and also had zero flavor, we asked for them to be removed from our bill because we could not drink them. You can enjoy sunset without eating here as there is a lookout. Save yourself the waste of money and don't eat here. We literally left the Mesa Grill and had to go grab food elsewhere. This place is a tourist trap.
