Really should pay attention to the dining room conditions
    Alice F.

Disappointing to leave this review, because the food is actually good. But in spite of that, I would not return for a few reasons: 1) The place was practically empty, yet none of the tables had been wiped down. Also, the napkins, utensils and condiments were empty. Trash and trays looked like they hadn't been picked up in a while. 2) Again, hardly any customers, but I had to wait to be greeted or acknowledged by anyone. Not a "hello" or "someone will be with you shortly." Just the staff continuing their conversation, oblivious to a customer in the room. 3) Lack of attention to detail. My order was fine, but the party of 4 before me only had one order correct. It's chicken and fries. It shouldn't be that hard. 4) At one point, the entire staff went in the back and left the place practically unattended for several minutes. Again, this dining room is filthy, shouldn't someone do something about that? Like I said, the food was actually good, thus 2 stars instead of 1. I guess maybe drive thru is the way to go. But I won't be back.

As a chicken sandwich enjoyer, Jay Bird's definitely hit the spot better than some more well known brands. For some sandwiches, it could be too salty, oily, etc. Not with Jay Bird's, I find the balance of seasoning on the chicken filet perfect, salty but still balanced with veggies in certain menu items. I appreciate the fries being more crispy on the outside and still slightly fluffy inside. Great casual vibes inside or you can sit outside for the amazing Sedona weather. Awesome time for most if you come while exploring Sedona.

Stopped here during my visit in Sedona back in September. Never had a Chicken Sandwich with Mac & Cheese before, but it was very tasty. The Chicken had a good crunch, and the Mac & Cheese added good flavor. Will try it again if in the area!

(3.5) Ok spot for a quick lunch. We stopped by after hitting some trails in Sedona. The gentleman at the front was very friendly and helpful since it was our first time! We ordered the chicken sandwich & fries and chicken & waffles. My husband enjoyed his sandwich but it wasn't mind blowing. Fries were crispy and seasoned well! For my meal, I actually enjoyed the waffles much more than the chicken. The waffle was very soft and airy so the texture was perfect. The chicken, however, wasn't terrible... but the batter was a little too thick so it was kind of hard to cut and rip apart. I ended up taking off the skin and just eating the chicken meat. Overall, it's an ok spot if you're looking for something easy. It's very spacious inside with plenty of seating. They also have an outdoor patio, which is where we sat because we had our dog with us and they let him be there too. :)

overall score: B- order: chicken sandwich and fries the sandwich here was not bad but it also wasn't good. it was lacking flavor but portion sizes were good. i wish the chicken was a little more battered/fried but it was pretty plain. the fries were really good though. this place does charge for sauce, i feel as if i had sauce in the sandwich it would have tasted better. or if a free sauce came with the combo that would have been nice. service: food came out fast, nothing wrong about the service. ambiance: place is pretty big for just a fast food place. very spacious inside and parking was not an issue.

Great place for fast, fresh chicken. I like the idea of the different spice levels because I love spicy food!! I would consider it fast food since they have a drive through option. As well as inside seating and they have a nice front patio to enjoy your meal outside in the beautiful Sedona weather.

Just not a fan...the fries were very bland although they appeared to be covered in some spices. The spices were great but the fries really lacked salt. Also, there's no option to get just the sandwich, without fries. I went in not hungry enough to eat a sandwich AND fries and was hoping to save a few bucks by just getting a chicken sandwich. So I was even more bummed when I ate a fry (which I was forced to buy) that had remotely no taste whatsoever. Lastly, I got the chicken sandwich with mac n cheese on it, and the whole sandwich was mediocre at best. Don't get me wrong, it's a great-looking sandwich, but once again, I was definitely disappointed in the flavor. Seeing as this place has such great reviews and is known for their chicken sandwich, I was expecting something a lot better than what I got. Maybe it was an off day, I don't know. Not very friendly service either.

Food was ok. One sauce was 1000 dressing without pickles, and very sweet. White bread was not fresh. It had been sitting out for awhile. 1 & done. Nothing close to Hattie B's.

This was the perfect easy meal after to keep us going. The chicken was very hot and fresh. The fries were a bit over seasoned but can't complain. Love the variety in sauces especially the comeback sauce. The location was very clean and the staff was helpful & friendly.

So driving around Sedona and noticed this spot so decided to drop in and see what it was about. Restaurant looked clean and their outdoor seating area was cool because there was a good view. The service was okay typical service you get from most other restaurants. As for the food... The chicken sandwich wasn't anything special and didn't really scream Nashville Chicken Hot! I got the HOT level of spice and it wasn't that spicy. Felt like there was something missing between all the ingredients in the sandwich. BUT. The fries! If you want some fries their fries were very good and nicely seasoned all around. The seasoning was on point and each fry had a good crisp to them. I'd go back just to get some fries, lol. I'll pass on the sandwich though.

Chicken sandwich with fries. Mild selected, not too spicy.

Inside was very spacious. We ordered at the counter and couldn't help but notice all the beautiful breads and pastries behind the display counter. The menu was extensive- breakfast items, salads, sandwiches, pastas, soups, small bites, and a kids menu. Soo many choices but I ended up ordering half soup and salad and my hubby got the steak torta sandwich, the advertised special. The meals were brought to our table. Spicy chicken soup/strawberry spinach salad without bleu cheese- delicious! The soup was VF/DF. Very tasty with a little kick. I didn't see any chicken, but nevertheless it was still good. The salad was fresh and I enjoyed the various textures with the strawberries and nuts. The dressing was nice and light. It also came with 2 pieces of their sliced bread. The steak torta sandwich- yummy! Hubby enjoyed it. It came with a side of sweet potato chips that were to die for. Oh and I almost forgot! Their outdoor seating faced the gorgeous Sedona rock formations. We ate our dinner facing the beautiful views and watched the sunset : ) Great food, friendly service, and gorgeous views! I would definitely eat here again, when in town.

You order at the window, take a number, and seat yourself in a small shopping complex. While there's the option to sit inside a small/air-conditioned room, there's also shaded patio seating and seating in the hallway of the connected small shopping building, where most of the tables are. It's completely shaded but open to outside air. After ordering the The Morning After burger (Fried Egg, Bacon, Cheddar, Fresh Jalapenos) + small Seasoned Fries (for 1-2 people), we waited about 15 minutes for the food to be brought to our table. They were kind enough to cut the burger in half and provide an egg for each half, since they knew we were sharing!! Indeed, 1 burger and 1 small fry is enough to feed 2 people. As expected, the burger was juicy, flavorful, and the egg was perfectly fried to still be runny. Outlaw Grille is a small burger joint packed with big flavors. This place knows its way around meat without making it complicated. The sweet potato fries are another win crispy, hot, and not doing that sad limp fry thing that ruins everyone's afternoon. We drove by Vespa, which is located in a shopping center in West Sedona, and decided to give it a try. It's a small restaurant so I imagine on the weekend it's a good idea to get on the wait list. We were able to get seated right away. At the check in desk, they do ask for your home city and if you've ever dined there before. We were seated by their cool "Vespa wall." On another wall of the restaurant, they were playing an old Western that was filmed in Sedona (without sound, just subtitles). We thought that was a fun touch. Our server was incredibly helpful on answering questions about the menu. I wasn't super hungry, so I ordered the avocado toast, which was delicious. My boyfriend ordered the chicken parmesan. Our server mentioned that that dish took 20 - 25 minutes to prepare, and asked if he would like an order of the focaccia bread to eat while I ate my toast. He ordered the focaccia and absolutely loved it! It's a must-order at this restaurant. The chicken parmesan was a huge portion. The sauce smelled amazing. Their ingredients are organic and everything is made fresh. For dessert, we decided to share an order of the deconstructed cannolis. They were so delicious! I will be ordering that dessert again on a future visit. Highly recommend this restaurant! It's a hidden gem in Sedona!
