I went here on a Saturday night with a reservation for three other friends, and it was pretty packed, so I would definitely suggest making a reservation. There was live music on the patio, which was very nice and added to the ambiance. We ordered the vegan sushi. Two people ordered the salmon with purple potato. Someone ordered the gnocchi, and I forgot what the other person ordered. Pretty much everybody liked their food except the person with the miyoki, but I think that's just because she doesn't like miyoki. It was a very nice vibe. The server was friendly, though visibly overwhelmed, and I think it's a nice place. The food wasn't worth the experience, and the hospitality was even worse. From the moment I arrived at Broome & Orchard, the hostess was unwelcoming and seemed almost reluctant to seat me. Throughout my meal, I watched several servers repeatedly check on one woman sitting alone at another table, while my own waiter barely stopped; twice I think( one time was to bring food out). As someone with celiac disease, gluten exposure is not a minor inconvenience. It's a serious health issue. I was glutened, which made an already disappointing experience that much worse. And the lack of basic courtesy continued right to the end. I walked closely past the hostess stand, where several people were gathered, and not one person said goodbye or thanked me for coming in. I live in North Scottsdale, and I've always felt the stereotype that people here are snooty is unfair. After my experience at Broome & Orchard, I can see exactly how that reputation gets reinforced. What makes this especially disappointing is that this wasn't even an expensive, high-end dining experience. There was no exceptional service, no extra attention, and certainly no warmth to justify the attitude. Just poor hospitality and a complete lack of awareness about a serious dietary condition. You don't have to be a luxury restaurant to deliver luxury level hospitality. You just have to treat people with basic kindness and respect. Apparently, that was too much to ask here. I booked a reservation for 9 at Broome & Orchard a few months ago and was told we would be sat inside next to a window with a great view. When we arrived, we were seated at a patio table outside, which normally would've been fine if it wasn't July and monsooning. It started raining before the food came out and the wait staff acted like it was an inconvenience to open the umbrellas next to our table even though multiple people in our party were getting rained on. The French onion mac and cheese was my favorite item of the night, the scallops were just okay, and the rest of the food was forgettable. read more

We celebrated my daughter's 21st birthday here (09/05/2026) and we were not disappointed. We arrived early and the staff were able to seat us before our reserved time. The atmosphere was very nice and casual. We requested outside seating and we were treated to some spectacular sunset scenery. The food was very tasty, warm, and arrived without much delay. Plating was a bit off; my pork chops were stacked on one another instead of using a large plate; I had to ask for a side plate in order to eat without causing a huge mess. The biggest shortcoming of the place is price... but what can you expect in Sedona on Labor Day. Plan on easily spending $100+ per person, if you have a couple of drinks, one appetizer and entrees. A California roll was listed under the Raw Bar, but they had to check if the crab was raw... One of our water glasses broke, our utensils and glass cups were dirty, and the food did not leave a lasting impression either. For starters, a calamari is only shareable for two people. It had a handful of calamari pieces and then it was mixed with crunchy topping and shredded veggies. One of the salads for the group got mixed up. The shoestring fries were overloaded with salt, the French Onion Mac was bland, and the cheese was not melted on the top. It was a sad day for those entrees, but the complimentary cake for our friend's birthday was the best thing we had. I'm not sure how there's so many errors, but the service was still kind and friendly regardless. The views here would look great in the daytime, though! I saw many celebrations and big groups. When the sun hits the rocks at different angles, with the back drop of the sky, it creates a myriad of colors. You will be in awe of the serene, picture-perfect sights, which are definitely social media worthy. The captivating view is worth the stop alone, but the food could have been a reason on its own to come. The food is solid; it is a kind of place where you will enjoy whatever you order. FRENCH ONION MAC (added steak) - creamy, cheesy, meaty, rich and filling. If you are an advocate for meat or cheese, this will satisfy your bias. Who says mac and cheese can't be high class? With a little wine, it would be devine! You can't go wrong with this dish B&O BENEDICT (Brunch menu)- creamy, meaty, rich and filling. Do you see a theme here?? The maple bacon was thick and salty with a hint of sweetness, I would eat this by the cup full. The chipotle hollandaise was not spicy but had a good spiced flavor. The potatoes were well seasoned, but I think if they were fried or more crispy would go better. The side pepper salad with tangerines did add some freshness and acidity to cut the heaviness but the preparation was lacking a bit and maybe missing something to give it a boost in its flavor profile. Overall everything tasted good on the plate. PRICKLY PEAR LEMONADE- sweet and refreshing. Delicious, but for what it was, it was pricy especially since it is mostly ice. The prickly pear is often used as a gimmick because it is a unique fruit from the region. MAUI MULE MOCKTAIL- It is the same as the alcoholic version without the alcohol. Without the alcohol it was very sweet. And it was the same price as the alcoholic version so, despite it being a cute drink, felt like a rip off. In an establishment like this, I would expect a non alcoholic spirit to be used in place of the liquor. Service is top notch which made for a delightful experience and the reason I round up my rating. David was second to none as a server. Friendly while always tending to the table and making sure we were accommodated with class. From the ambiance to the food, it fits all occasions. It can be casual or romantic. This place is in the Shops at Piñon Pointe -- and has the most epic views. Especially around sunset. We had a 7:30 reservation- arrived at 7 and were seated right away. Which we deeply appreciated. The bar was hopping and there was a live musician playing guitar and singing. Unfortunately with that combination-- the volume of his playing made it so that people had to speak louder to be heard over the music, which made for a very jarring experience. Sadly it wasn't as chilled as it should have been...making it less than ideal. I ordered the rack of lamb. Which was served with olive salad (more like an olive condiment), and some clumps of what I think were mint and parsley all fine chopped up -- kind of going for a tabouli vibe. It didn't really do anything for the dish. The saffron rice was perfectly cooked and saffron forward in a good way! And then there was the lamb. 3 generous double chops seasoned and cooked to absolute perfection! Every bite was gastronomic heaven. Hubby ordered the warm harvest salad with chicken -- tasty but the chicken was overcooked. Smash burger was solid and on point and the buffalo chicken sandwich on focaccia was deliciously Buffalo-y in flavor. A solidly good meal. But the loud music, the lack of sound absorption materials that is common for restaurants these days made it a stressful meal. We sat on the patio which was warmed with large heaters, so it was very comfortable. There was live music provided by an acoustic guitarist adding to the atmosphere. We started with the grilled shrimp. Three large shrimp grilled and served with avocado crema . The shrimp were grilled with a light char, and were meaty and tender. I had the warm roasted salad. We came here to get away and celebrate our engagement and Shelby was amazing! She was so thoughtful and attentive. When we were seated outside she had the patio warmer turned on for us. However, she told us that they ran out of propane and would move us to a better table. Then when I mentioned that we wanted to share the Mixed Green Salad she had the kitchen split it for us. Unfortunately, our experience at Broome & Orchard was pretty disappointing. We came in excited to try the restaurant, but there were issues throughout the entire meal. It took a very long time for our order to be taken, and then an equally long time for the food and drinks to arrive. In fact, our entrée came out before our appetizer, which was frustrating. The drinks also took quite a while, and one of my friends ordered the lychee drink and unfortunately did not enjoy it. The biggest issue was that the restaurant had changed its menu that same day, but the menu online had not been updated. We specifically came to Broome & Orchard for certain dishes we had seen online, only to find out they were no longer available. I understand that menus change, but it was frustrating to make the trip specifically for those meals and not be able to order them. Our waiter was honest and explained that the staff had only been informed about the new menu about 20 minutes before their shift, so he understandably wasn't able to answer many of our questions about the new dishes. That seemed like a communication issue on the restaurant's end rather than the server's fault. Unfortunately, the food itself didn't make up for the other issues. Overall, we found the dishes to be lacking in seasoning and flavor, and nothing really stood out as particularly memorable. Also, the food came out lukewarm. I know restaurants can have an off night, and I'm always willing to give some grace for that. However, between the slow service, delayed drinks, appetizer coming after the entrée, outdated online menu, lack of communication around the menu change, and underwhelming food, this was unfortunately a poor overall experience. read more

Dove Sole stuffed w/Crab- this was the special and it did not disappoint as it was special! Generous portion of sole with plenty of shredded crab inside served on top of creamy couscous & spinach...chef kiss! Brussel sprouts & Butternut squash- nicely roasted and the combination was seasoned well and was a great pairing to the entrees. Kale Salad- plenty of Kale, pumpkin seeds, crispy rice really made this a textural pleasure and with the sesame dressing on the side it mixed well when drizzled on top. Chocolate cake- super decadent with the almond sauce and coconut shavings made this a definite perfect ending. Service was outstanding, as the staffers were working with a focus and on a mission, as the water glass was never empty and the amount of checking in was just right. It was rich, flavorful, and so comforting, and the steak was cooked perfectly rare -- such a great addition. The location is incredible, we sat outside and had a front row view of the sunset over the Sedona mountains. I ordered the scallops, and they were amazing. Perfectly seared with that golden crust and served in a rich corn chowder that paired beautifully with the seafood. I was savoring every bite I took of it, sad it would be over. Each drink we tried was delicious as well! I got the Maui Mule and the Imposter. I was definitely feeling good when we left! Our waitress was wonderful as well. Friendly, attentive, and easy-going even when we asked to reopen our bill so we could get more drinks. Sitting outside really elevated the whole experience, the view of the mountains at sunset was absolutely stunning, and the atmosphere felt both relaxed and romantic. This is a great date night spot, especially if you can snag a table outside right at the railing around sunset. The menu leans pricier, but you're also paying for the view and overall experience, which is worth it to us. Great service - great meal - great view! We were in Sedona this month to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Our splurge dinner was eating dinner at Broome and Orchard on a Friday night. As we had a reservation, we were seated right away. The hostess was quite pleasant. We asked to be seated at a 2-top out on the covered patio with a great view of rock formations. We met our server, Susan V. She too was quite pleasant and most helpful. We planned to take the night slowly and let Susan know this. She gave us plenty of space, checking in with us infrequently and that worked out perfectly. We began by ordering cocktails. We both had Old Fashioned's and they were fabulous. While Susan was busy with other tables, we asked another server if he would take our picture with the rock formations as the backdrop. He did a great job. Later, we ordered two appetizers: Pork Belly Bao Buns and Grill and Chill Shrimp. The Bao Buns were alright. The Pork Belly was real tasty. The buns themselves were a bit crumbly. The Grill and Chill Shrimp was very good. The Shrimp were colossal and they came with two dipping sauces. Later, we ordered our meal. We shared a Wagyu Smash Burger and it came with a small salad. The Smash Burger was very good and cooked like we like it - about a medium rare. For dessert, we each had a double Bourbon Cream on the rocks. We really enjoyed our dinner experience at Broome and Orchard. And if the weather is right, we'd encourage others to eat out on the patio as well. We checked this place out for my birthday dinner recently and had a terrific meal. Our group of 9 fit comfortably in a long booth on the patio overlooking the gorgeous scenery. We started with the tuna crispy rice and the Bring the Funk roll to start. They both had great flavor. My wife enjoyed her Chilean sea bass and I enjoyed the barbecue stack sandwich. A couple people in the group tried the burgers and they were huge. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the portion sizes match the price. Please read! On 05/30/2026 My family and I visited Broom & Orchard to celebrate my mother's birthday. What started as a special evening with a beautiful view unfortunately turned into a very disappointing and concerning experience. We ordered a children's macaroni and cheese with grilled chicken for our 7-year-old and 1-year-old daughters. When the food arrived, we immediately noticed that the chicken was undercooked and visibly pink inside. We alerted our server, who apologized and took the meal back to the kitchen. Approximately five minutes later, the same plate was returned to our table. It appeared that the original chicken had simply been placed back on the grill and returned, as the bowl still contained the juices from the previously undercooked chicken. This raised immediate concerns regarding proper food handling and cross-contamination. We sent the meal back a third time. Shortly thereafter, we were told a completely new children's meal had been prepared with freshly grilled chicken. However, as my daughter began eating, we discovered yet again that portions of the chicken were still raw and undercooked. At that point, we requested to speak with a manager. While the manager apologized, the explanation provided was that the lighting in the kitchen differed from the dining room, making it difficult for staff to visually identify that the chicken was undercooked. Frankly, this response was alarming. Proper food safety should never rely solely on visual inspection, especially when serving poultry. My greatest concern is that this meal was intended for small children. Serving undercooked chicken once is a serious mistake; serving it three separate times during the same meal is completely unacceptable. This was not a minor oversight but a significant food safety issue that could have resulted in illness. As a result of this experience, my children never received a properly cooked meal. While the item was removed from our bill, the damage to our dining experience had already been done. My 7-year-old daughter became upset and embarrassed, and after witnessing how the situation was handled, the rest of our family lost confidence in the food being served. I personally could hardly eat my own meal. I am sharing this feedback in the hope that ownership take this matter seriously. The repeated serving of undercooked chicken, combined with the improper handling of the issue, points to concerns that deserve immediate attention. Guests should be able to trust that their food--especially food served to children--is prepared safely and according to basic food safety standards. I would appreciate a response regarding how this incident will be addressed to ensure it does not happen to another family. Heating lamps are available for cool days/nights. The menu offers a lot of delicious options, of which I chose the wagyu smash burger and a side of brussel sprouts. Both were delicious, although the side of coleslaw (that went with my burger) was tasteless and a bit dry. The drinks were amazing, and I highly suggest trying the mule as it was quite refreshing. When we went on a holiday Monday, there was one other party at around 1500, when several of the other restaurants we passed on our walk up were packed to what looked like capacity. This might have contributed to such swift service, but Chris would have been great regardless. I'm quite partial to not having someone breathe down your neck your entire experience, and he was attentive without being a nuisance. We ordered the spicy salmon small plate, and the steak frites regular entree. Both were phenomenal, and we liked that there were options for an a la carte style and traditionally portioned entrees. What really is a showstopper on both is the sauce; the spicy salmon could definitely benefit from more. From the main street of Uptown Sedona, you get a glimpse of how to get the best red rock view without hiking. Blink and you'll miss it, but Broome & Orchard is tucked away in a little shopping center and therefore tucked away from the forefront of people's minds. read more

Amazing food, beautiful outdoor views of the red rocks ( extra amazing during a sunset), swanky decor and great service. Outdoor seating dinner is prime and there maybe a wait. Lovely bar with a good selection of spirits, cocktails, wine and beer. The food was amazing- everything we got was something I would order again. The Hokkaido scallops was a multitude of flavors and textures that melded well. The French onion mac and cheese (with steak) was cheesy and savory. The grilled galabi (short ribs) is a good appetizer to kick off the night. Definitely will return when I'm back here. read more

B&O will have to be a stop for our family every time we visit Sedona now! Everyone loved their meal, and we were pleasantly surprised by live music (a solo guitarist/vocalist playing covers - always a good call!). Crispy tuna rice was delishhh. My husband wasn't so sure about the bang bang shrimp (I'm allergic), so we'll skip that next time. Our kids enjoyed their "fancy" mac & cheese and tenders, I had the wagyu smash burger with Gouda (& it was good-a!) and my husband had the crispy buffalo chicken sandwich (which was huge & tasty). We didn't have any cocktails but may try some next trip. Everyone else's looked great. The dining room had a great vibe, but we sat between the bar and the patio, against the window. Would love to be on the patio next time. Gorgeous views - lots of parties taking photos, including multiple bachelorette parties! Our server was very attentive and helpful. Oh. My. WOW! Went with a friend on Valentine's Day. Cool vibe- amazing staff, view was perfect. Ordered the gluten free crostini and spinach dip and salmon for dinner. My friend got the filet. Everything was 100! I wish we planned on staying after sunset because there was an acoustic guitarist/singer in the bar and it looked so fun. read more
