Had the Worst experience of my life. Will never go back. If I could give 0 stars I would. But they make you give at least 1 so the 1 star is for the polish color other than that never let them near your hands or feet. My pedicure was 5 minutes and this includes soak time and when I said something as usual they start speaking in their language Really. Then I ask for a certain nail tech and they try to get everyone who is just sitting around to do them. Keep sending random A** techs over and I keep saying no leave me alone then the manager came and burned me with the damn sanding machine. That was the last draw so I got up and left. This establishment is horribly managed. They treat us any type of way. Standing in a corner for 30 mins, no where to sit down. Very unclean with an odor. Black people we need to stop giving our money to establishments that's disregard us like as I witness cattle. After I leave here, this will be my last time. Where is Illinois Department of Health. First, I will start with the positive and say that it's a nice space...open and bright with newer spa chairs and bowls. Second, my technician, Ivy (I think), was very pleasant! So, the first strike was the price-$25 pedi or $35 for mani-pedi. This, of course, is not terribly out of range. However, I will admit that my normal two places are only $20 and $30 for those services. Second strike was poor range of color choices. As a professional and due to personal choice, I don't want overly bright, ridiculously dark, or sparkly polish. If you like these choices, this is a good place for you. However, some people like more conservative pinks, corals, etc. Fast forward to paying, the thrid strike occurred when Ivy returns with my card with an extra fee ($1) on it! Umm, excuse me, what is this charge for? I spoke with the owner, David, I was informed that "the DMV and other places charge fees for card use." Sir, the DMV also make licenses. Just because they do, doesn't mean that you can! At least post a sign and let me make an informed decision. Grant it, it was a nominal charge, however, it's the principle. Can you imagine how much extra income they generate off of that small charge because no one says anything?! Overall, although Ivy was pleasant, I will not be returning. I've been here before with family and it was great, which is why I chose this place again. I came here with a friend as a girls day out. My nail tech was Tony and my friend had a young pregnant women who's name I don't recall. I couldn't have a conversation with my friend without it seeming like someone wanting to be in my conversation. Then, my tech was so rude and so was my friends tech. I was seated all the way near the front door and it's cold outside. When told to wash my hands after having my cuticles removed, my tech thought it was okay to wash the bowl while I was washing my hands and pushed my hands out of the way. both techs would push the hand away to signal that they wanted the other hand rather than say it. A customer came in and asked my tech if he could help her, he replied that he was busy. She replied I know your busy, but can you help me with my question. He told her to find the owner. Who was not around. My friend and I payed $55 for a manicure and pedicure. It was completely overpriced. I was embarrassed to have taken her to this nail salon in my very own neighborhood. I will not be coming here anymore as I don't support establishments that lack proffesionalism within their employees. There's a nail salon literally around my house that doesn't have customers because they are rude and lack professionalism. The same will happen if this establishment don't get it together. read more

Inconsistent service.... don't pay until you are completely done....I've been into this shop about 10 times... half the time I have good service the other half poor. ... green does a great job and takes his time.... but there are too many technichians who are just quickly trying to slap on some polish and get you out. I normally pay before my nails are painted, but if I come back I won't be doing that again. I get the same thing every time I get my nails done... 3 times now at this shop I've ben asked, and argued with to get what I want.. half glitter half plan polish. I don't care if you think the Polish won't show up. I don't care if you think it'll take to long to dry.. please do what I ask for, and what I pay for.. especially if it isn't difficult... I don't go on busy weekends, or when it's crowded so there no reason to rush. read more

I really enjoyed my experience here. I had the deluxe pedicure and a gel fill-in. I liked my nails. I did however bring my own color. If you are like me and are addicted to Essie and Opi. Bring your own, the selection is limited. And they are open until 6 on Sunday, which makes this spot a bonus! Also the credit card machine was down, so bring cash!!!! read more

There is only one person I allow to do my nails! One lady digs her nose all of the time and touch people's hands without washing hers, half of them don't follow instructions well or don't understand English. Some of them are rude af and talk heavy bs in Chinese. One man filed my thumb nail so hard that my entire finger was in pain for weeks. Ryan does the best nails but he's hardly ever there now. It's sad because we give them too much business, we need to open our own and support our own. These people here obviously feels entitled and doesn't believe in good customer service. The only reason why they "try" to get you in and out is so that they could keep empty seats to make more money. Think about that, if you wait too long, you take your money elsewhere right?? I want to give it 3 stars based off the fact that Tina and Helen slay my eyebrows. Honestly this place is barely worth 2 stars. This place is very unorganized and very unprofessional. I've been coming here for a year now only for my eyebrows. Today the owner (believe he's Tina's husband) he always sits in the front by the door directing people to the nail stations: took the cake for being disrespectful!!!! I come in and when I asked how many were in front of me, he never told me....he simply point to a woman sitting to the side and said I'm after her. I said ok and sat down. Over an hour later.....The woman he pointed to that was in front of me was getting up from Tina's chair , im thinking I'm next.....ummm nope!!!! I had two more people in front of me. When I address it, he said I heard wrong and even told the previous lady in front of me that she heard wrong too about me being next. I simply sat down not about to argue with this man, apparently the women were already there getting their nails down so they were first. He was hostile and literally told me: F**k You!! All because I told him that the way he conducted business as far as the wait time for eyebrows was not fair. I'm never going to jump in front of anybody. Not once did I use profanity or anything. I simple told this man he can stop talking to me because I'm only here for Tina....that's when he shouted: F**k You and walked off smh I completely ignored him after that.....Tina kept trying to calm him down and told me she was sorry for his temper etc. Just beware when you go read more

Newly built, so the furniture and decor is nice. They have a lot of stations. I believe 14 manicure stations and 14 chairs, one of the largest I've been to in a while. I went to ZiZi and he was very sweet, took his time with my service and made sure I was taken care of. Only got my natural nails done, so not quite sure about full sets, but everyone else's nails looked nice too. Will return! read more

This was the worst experience I have ever had in a nail shop. I went there twice, because I was in the neighborhood and the second experience was even worse than the first. The place is dirty...crap everywhere.When you walk in, no one greets you. I literally just stood in the middle of the floor and when no one acknowledged me, I just said, "I need to get a pedicure." and then someone said, "Go to the back." Where again, I had to stand awkwardly until someone acknowledged me. I got a pedicure and noticed they don't use fresh towels, they just fold them and refold them with each new person. The water was not hot. That was the first experience. The 2nd time, after waiting for over 30 minutes with my feet sitting in cold water and no one saying anything to me - like, "Be right there," or "You're next. Thanks for waiting." I just got up and told them, I needed a fill-in and couldn't wait for the pedicure. And then I got my nails done. This guy rushed through the job like he was on fire. He did a horrible job and when he was done, I showed my son and he said, "I thought you were going to get them done." That's how bad they looked. I had an American manicure and you could see the ridge of the old nail through the gel. I saw how it was looking and thought that I should get them polished, but in his rushed state, he said, "No polish, right?" and started packing up his stuff. I just said No, paid for this crap and left. The sad thing is that this place was packed. We somehow think that this is suitable for us to be treated this way. This place needs to be shut-down. It's disgusting and very, very unprofessional. In my hour there, I saw 3 angry customers complain about the service. I hope they don't go back either, because I certainly won't. Toan and Ryan are great at doing your nails but some of the ladies that do pedicures are very rude, I have mix feelings on going back...

1st and last time going. The manicure price in the wall says $12, but I was charged $16 ($1 fee for using c.c)Got a pedicure on Thursday, the polish chipped on Friday off 3 toes. The manager made me feel like the bad guy by telling me I should have remembered who took care of me...how do he know if I didn't go somewhere else and just coming there to get a free polish change...and the only thing he can do is polish over my 3 chip polished toes with a random color because he couldn't "find" the one I had on (even though I told him the polish name and color number ). read more

when one lady was doing my nails she was putting the base coat on. so you know how they like to half do their job? she was only putting it like in the middle of my nail and not the sides, so i asked her to get it on the sides and she ignored me. strike 1! i let her continue to do my nails. while she was painting a bristle got stuck on my nail so i pointed that out to her. rather than getting the bristle off she tells me she's just going to put another coat of polish on it, mind you the polish is already thick!! so i asked her to get it off instead of putting another layer on and she ignored me and just put the other layer on. strike 2!!! so on another nail she did had a black dot on it! so i told her it was a black dot on it and she tells me "i don't see it" so i'm like ... ok let's show someone else and see if they see it. so i show her coworker and she saw it and gave her the utensil to fix it. instead of fixing it again she says she's just going to put another layer on it. STRIKE 3!! so i'm trying to stay calm but i'm getting agitated. so i tell her don't put another layer of polish on my nails. she throws the stuff down and gets up. so the other lady comes over there and says she just about to put my top coat on... and i'm like no. my nails looks horrible like it looks like a kindergarten did my nails. take this off now and give me my money back... period. and i'm talking to this other man about my nails and this lady snatched my chair!! i swear to you i almost backhanded her oh my gosh. i said i'm not sure who the heck trained you but this is not service. so they try to tell me to come back tomorrow to get my money back and i'm like... no... give me my money back right now lol i'm not coming back. so the lady starts cussing me out in Chinese and i told her "i hope you're not talking to me because i don't know what you're saying" moral of the story is the experience was horrible and they don't deserve to be patronized read more
