Ok, so I was recommending to this nail salon and I will say that I would definitely NOT recommend it to anyone else. I went in for a simple no chip manicure and pedicure. First off, the man who did my pedicure was really nice but he tried very hard to convince me that the color he was applying was the yellow I requested when it was clear orange. He changed it with no problem except that the polish was so thin that it was a shame. He did my nails and I have never seen my thumb nail lol like a little fat toenail . When I got home I noticed that the whole side of my right big toe was not even painted. I went back two days later and was told that there was no one there that could correct his mistake... these people don't care about customer service or customer satisfaction. I will NEVER come to this establishment again. First and foremost the shop didn't open until 20 minutes because the owner was running late. I was the 4th guest to arrive before anyone else pulled up. One lady was kind enough to create a list in ORDER of who arrived. When, the owner finally arrived everyone started rushing into the shop like it was a sale going on. I went here to get eyebrow wax tint and indivi lashes. very terrible tech named bae bee her nationality could be Hispanic please you all DO NOT LET THIS LADY DO YOUR LASHES OR EYEBROW! She has a lot of training that needs to be done! she over glued my lashes to the point they were so tight I had to get a lash remover to remove the lashes! the lashes itself were so hard from all of the glue she put on them! Then she cut off the ends of my eyebrows with a razor! I asked her not to use the razor on the other eyebrow not knowing they were cut already! she disguised the job with makeup and the tint. My eyebrows were burning so bad two days later I had scars around the left eyebro! One week later as I wipe my tint off and see my eyebrows I almost cried!! During my last visit here back August of 2019, the waxer did not check the temp of the hot wax machine when waxing my eyebrows and burned my eyelid badly. Once I jumped up, this is when she then realized that the wax was too hot. After I left I had a burn scar on the lid of my eye for a week. Be careful when coming here. But you have to stop by the place to see how much this owner put into this new nail salon. It is beautiful from the Crystal Chandler when you come in the door and the feel so good service chairs. The color changing boarder ceiling. So now the service Again love the service chairs. But I was able to just set back and enjoy the music while Alice just made me feel special. Average average average average! After a bad experience At Nail Works I said I was not going to another Asian nail salon. I even started grooming my natural nails and cuticles at home. I said when I got my nails done again it would be at a black owned salon or at the very least a black nail tech. Then came the wedding I had to attend and time crept up on my and this was my safest choice since the salon I wanted to try was booked. The tech's who did my pedi & nails were not bad. In fact, my pedi was actually good! My nails were just OK. I got no chip color on my full set and the layers were uneven and bumpy. Not to mention my shape being off on both hands, even with me directing my nail tech. Since this was the quality I expected, I wasn't upset leaving this salon as usual. I had been going to this nail salon for months, I always went to Linda to get my nails done, well my thumb began to hurt after an appt and I told her maybe it's something wrong with my thumb, before she started my nails, my nail on my thumb was beginning to separate from the skin, I've never experienced this before, so after my thumb didn't stop hurting, I soaked the dipped polish off and went to the doc, to my surprise I had FUNGUS on my thumb... all I can say is beware, clearly they do not sanitatize their equipment, and if they do, it's a poor job. I went here. The service was very nice and prompt and my nail tech was very helpful. What I didn't like was that she rushed through the UV curing of my no-chip manicure. I got the manicure Friday morning, by Monday I noticed tears in the color, by Tuesday the tears had gotten more pronounced and the gel had begun to left. Today, wednesday, pieces of the manicure gel have fallen off of two fingers. I'm very unhappy with the manicure, but she did pay great attention to my cuticles. I came there last week to get my feet done and it seemed as if the hoodrats take over this place like it's their personal hang out spot. I come there to get a pedicure not to have it crowded up with hoodrats spending their rent and bill money getting their hands feet eyebrows and lashes done. The other issue is these broads also bringing their kids when they are not there to get serviced. Most salons have rules about people bringing their kids when they are not being waited or worked on. It would make sense to tell anyone if they're not there to get work done or waiting on someone who is getting work done they can't be hanging around the salon. I waited nearly 30 minutes until a black lady who was one of the nail techs came and worked on me. I will ask for her next time I go to have my feet done. read more

The best place to go for consistently good quality. They're like most salons busy on weekends and even then I'm never disappointed and that speaks volumes from me because I'm very indecisive. I have frequented both of their locations and this one is super convenient and close. They have more parking here. As far as services go, I've had manicures, pedicures, brow waxing, Brazilian waxing of which I suggest making an appointment for with Tina because she does the best job in my opinion. I like them! My first time here. The service is great and the staff is friendly. Got regular pedi and a no chip manicure. Green was my technician and it was his first day and did a wonderful job! He will be my go to guy for here on out! The decor is wonderful and brand new. The massaging chairs are comfortable. Wish they made them a little longer for us tall folks.
