It's Labor Day, and ALL of my usual shops are closed. I really needed my nails done because I leave on vacation in a few days. After driving around for about an hour, I stumbled upon this shop. I've always seen it because I used to live in the area, but I've never been here before. Let's start with the cons (because there aren't many): the shop is dirty. There's no getting past that. Cobwebs and dust everywhere. Just don't look around, and you'll be fine. Pros: Since it's the holiday, there was no wait. I was seated and worked on immediately. My no-chip pedicure was relaxing, even though it was just the basic service. I was also able to soak off my old dip while I was getting my pedicure, which saved a lot of time. The same guy who did my pedicure did my dip nails. He was FAST and did a pretty decent job. I recently discovered that I was being charged for services. I did not receive an extra $30 or $40 added to multiple visits when I brought it to tease attention. She refunded the most recent charge but her attitude immediately changed once I noticed the pattern my advice always confirm the price and service before beginning to avoid being overcharged. read more

If you decide to go to this place please make sure that you get exactly what you ask for and not what they want you to have. I gave this place a couple of chances and they gave me service that they wanted to give me. The first time they didn't use the right color on my first time dip experience but I didn't say anything because the manicure itself was good. The second time I came to get a dipped manicure, I only got a polish change. I explained to them that this was my second time getting a dip manicure and I didn't feel like I received the service that I was supposed to. They stated that I didn't ask for a dip manicure. I proceeded to explain that I spoke with one gentleman who repeated what I wanted said ok and gave me to someone else. They said "oh sorry maybe next time". I said "No thank you as this is the second time that you all haven't provided the service that I requested. I won't be back." I left the salon however two people (one gentleman and one lady) came to me vehicle saying "we are sorry". I told them "I won't be back and there was no need to come to my vehicle about this, it's over". The gentleman said "Please come back, I'll take care of you. If you come back it will be on me." The third time, I come in and see the gentleman that said he would take care of me and it would be on him. I proceed to tell him what I want and he starts to finish my statement because he remembers me or the situation. He starts moving as if he was going to do my dip manicure and no chip pedicure however someone else actually provides the services. Services were rendered, which I'm not fully satisfied with yet again. I go to pay and I was charged for both services instead of just my no chip pedicure. Much like a previous reviewer mentioned, this is not the place you go for fancy or elaborate nail art but you can get a decent manicure and pedicure. This was convenient for me when I needed a simple No chip manicure, I especially appreciated that it wasn't crowded whenever I went. But I see why lol. The reason for the 1 star is because the staff get pretty pushy if you want anything besides dip power or a full set. The first time I visited I was pretty clear I wanted no chip, but the owner constantly pushed dip until I obliged. I wasn't too upset at the end result, but that was only the first time. Every time after, my nails weren't sculpted well even with me instructing the nail tech. I started to dislike dip because of that and thought no big deal, I'll go back to no chip. I went back last week Wednesday afternoon and asked for no chip mani and pedi. Once again the tech was very adamant about dip. I told her no repeatedly. After the manicure what did she do? Dip my finger in the dip powder. I reminded her that I told her no and she said "oh no just one layer it'll make the no chip last longer." At this rate I'm irritable, but I wanted to finished so I went through with the process. I had a flight the next day and didn't have many options. How long did it take my nails to chip? LITERALLY THE NEXT MORNING! I've gotten no chip many times before and yes chipping can happen, but usually after a few days. Not the NEXT morning. I couldn't go back because I was leaving to go out of town the next day. because she dipped my nail first, the polish chipped and began to peel as if I never got color to begin with. I am incredibly disappointed that the nail tech ignored my request, did what she wanted, claimed it would help and did the complete opposite. So I spent money to peel off polish? Never again. I'll listen to my first mind and take my business elsewhere. Such a shame because I wanted to add this to my list of places to frequent. read more

I love this place it is definitely my go to for my two week nail fix. The shop is located in a strip mall so there is plenty of free parking. The owner always greets you upon entrance and you are attended to within a short time frame. They offer a frequent customer rewards program so when you hit a certain dollar amount, you get a discount. They offer lots of color choices for no chip and dip. They do an awesome powder dip! I do not have to go back for at least 2-1/2 weeks with no chips and that is only because my nails have grown and my cuticle is showing. The shop is clean and inviting with all of the greenery. My experience has always been good here and I highly recommend them if you are in the area, but make sure you bring cash or there is a $1.00 fee for credit or debit card use. read more

I'm very upset with MANAGEMENT I've been going to this shop for over 5 years and I'm a Care Giver so I have to make arrangements to replace me when I need to get to the salon I've had to change my appointment several times because I couldn't get there. I've made sure as a customer oriented person to call and let the salon know IN ADVANCE I let Lynn know however I was reprimanded like I was a child where as it couldn't be helped and as a courtesy I called to advise as such where as I could have been a butt hole and NOT call. She didn't give me an opportunity to speak and hung up. Lynn is a thief. She deliberately charged me twice for an eyebrow wax because I didn't want a pedicure. Had I not asked for a receipt I wouldn't have known as I paid for other services for a friend and I. She took advantage of this. I decided to give her another try after several months. Don't ask me why? And she deliberately took all day and had tint on my eyebrows longer than I desired. And she mumbles under her breath to other customers when you complain. This place is located in the strip mall area by the Giordano's. I tried the place because they were open late seen the place before never thought twice about it. Anyways, there was an older woman who did my nails, she did an okay job she accidentally cut my finger with her filing tool she apologized, but she didn't offer to take any money off the service. I received a dip powder manicure and the color is totally off and when I mentioned it she ignored me. My nails are ok would I go back again probably not. This use to be a top shop salon. They have continue to slack in many areas. I went in for a pedi. The foot equipment is DIRTY. I mean lazy owners, who needs to hire a cleaner. Hanging all those plants for aesthetics and sale does not hide the fact that an overhaul of cleansing is needed. The turnover of top notch nail technicians tells you a lot about this salon. Pay the people and maybe they will stay. The nail techs there are nice enough however this is not a social visit when we come in. The pedi I requested cost 50 dollars and my tip brought the total to 60. I wanted a basic pedi. So normal pricing. If I wanted a more in depth pedi, this is not the place. I was brought here for a polish change by my cousin as I was visiting from Dallas. After waiting for more than an hour for a polish change, the technician ask me to her station, she decided to change the price by 50% from $10 to $15 and her reasoning was that she had not had a chance to update her prices. First of all, they have no creativity, they cant even do basic styles, so let me share my story. I went into the salon wanting French tips with a heart on my ring finger and they couldn't even do that. The lady who did it couldn't even match colors, and she couldn't shape a nail to save her life so I had to change my whole original plan. I guess Mondays aren't a good day. I did not have a great experience like other Yelpers. The owner was nice enough on the phone but instantly tried to up-sell me and another woman who came in at the same time and became a tad overbearing. There was either no air or it was extremely low and today was very hot. The instrumental music that I guess was supposed to be playing in the background was LOUD. It was in the foreground. I couldn't even concentrate on reading my book. I asked the woman sitting next to me and she agreed. Then the actual pedicure... The young man who did my feet was rude and ROUGH! I asked him not to use the machine to buff my nails and he did it anyway. Responding to my request with, "only a little." He got agitated when I tried to instruct him about one of my toes. And it was not at all relaxing. He was pulling my cuticles and filing like my toes were not attached to my body. And it's just a personal preference but I hate any salon where the techs give massages with their gloves on. But maybe that helped to lessen the impact of how rough the massage was and it was shorter than very brief. No chance I'll be returning. Wouldn't recommend it at all. read more

Hello, I'm sharing about my experience at a business called Generation Nails.I highly recommend them simply because of their professionalism and warm inviting attitudes, they're friendly and very patient, I can be indecisive at time's about what exactly I may want in styles and colors. Today Kevin did my nails and I asked him if he could be creative based on what I envisioned in my head. He executed my description so beautiful! I have been here several time's and my Rhine stone's stay on my nails and the shine and quality of work is awesome!!! I'm happy because I know that I can be a little complicated but they aim to please their consumers, I love that he was willing and open to hear what I wanted. Thank you Generation Nails! I went in for the first time with my mom. She recommend it because her friend who is very picky loves it. I was skeptical because I saw the ratings before but I still decided to give it a try. The wait was short I decided to get acrylic and I told the guy I wanted oval and told him how short he should cut it. After a while he nipped my skin when he was cleaning it he did not apologize but it was very minimum so I decided to let it go. When he was finished I noticed that they were all not the same length as their counter finger and did not have the same shape at all. I did not have time to fix it since I was busy and needed to be else well but I was very disappointed in the service and frankly the guy seemed like a newbie. I believe the guy's name was Peter. *UPDATE* it's been an one day since I got them done and one gel is already chipped. UNSTERILIZED INSTRUMENTS!!! The place was a little dirty, but it was convenient to go so I decided to try it. They have a lot of Dip No Chip selections so I was open to the possibility of returning, when I saw something that will ensure I NEVER return. I saw a nail tech take the instruments she just finished using for a pedicure, rinse them in the sink (no soap), stick them in a pouch and seal the pouch and the take it to a station to use on the next customer without sterilizing! Of course because it was in the pouch a customer would assume the instruments had been sterilized. She was not the only one, I saw another female nail tech do the same thing right after. I questioned my nail tech and she acted like she didn't hear me. I did see one male tech (a young guy) take an instrument pouch out of the sterilizer, so they do have one. Today was my fourth visit to this nail salon. I thought I finally found a good spot. The first two times I went the service was great. The third time I went to a technician I hadn't been before and didn't inspect my nails until I got home. Big mistake. My nails were so thick from the dipping product I had a hard time picking stuff up and some nails looked like some one carelessly dropped paint on my nails. I chalked it us as a one time issue. Then I went today and got a different technician after I complained regarding my last visit. I didn't ask for a discount nor was one offered. The technician was rough. She constantly pulled and pushed my fingers like I was doing something wrong. Nevertheless, all was good except two nails which were thick as I don't know what. I asked her to fix the nails and she tried but those two nails were still horrible. I asked the owner could I come back the next day to get them fixed since I needed to go. She was like no because they were too busy and offered for the person who tried and failed to try to fix them again. I told her no thank you and I will take my business else where and walked out the door. What bothers me the most is that the owner is so focused on a couple of dollars in the shot term that she lost the long term money by not making their mistake right. On another note, this is a nail dip salon for which they promised was more healthy than no chip. I noticed today my nails are like thin paper. I am going back to no chip which they don't do here because they push the dipping powder method which made my nails thin and brittle. read more

The spa down the street was closed that my sister booked for my BACHELORETTE party so we went here. I only needed a no chip since my nails were already long. Lynn sister did not understand English so when I told her NOT to clip my nails low she said okay and then did so anyway and ruined all my hard work of growing them out to the point that I had to get an acrylic with fake nails. No apologies were given. I can't stand fake nails. 2.) The guy who then did my acrylic was not listening to me either. I said I didn't want my nails super long, acrylic nails are uncomfortable. He then keeps them long and says he'll cut them down later. He didn't!!! He said it was too late after putting acrylic on it. Wtf... 3.) Before all of this, I decided to get a Brazilian here...all I have to say is run. Lynn sister did it and I was in tears and it wasn't my first Brazilian. Please run from this shop. Lynn was awesome but her sister should not be working there, I was getting married the next day and she left me feeling very unconfident down there and my fiancé and I had never had sex before nor kissed so i was deeply saddened. Lynn then went over her work and still Charged me. I will never go back there again. Even on my way out there was someone in the pedicure chair talking to Lynn sister and she said "Please be gentle, I have a very painful hang nail." Lynn sister completely ignored her. Went to the shop this past Sunday, the owner Lynn, was condescending and insulting to say the least. She stated that I was being difficult because she cut my nails lower than I liked and I asked her to redo it. Not even a day later noticed that the GEL was chipping away at the nail bed and that another nail was chipped, as well as a crack in the gel. I work a desk job, so I don't do any excessive work with my hands, no reason for the nails to be doing this - other than poor workmanship. Not to mention they charge an extra 5$ to coffin shape the nails. Worst 45$ spent. It was my first time going to this shop, I doubt I'll go back. My godmother advised me not to go to this place because Lynn forces services on you and when she's done you end up paying way more than you should.. I was there yesterday and 2 disgruntled customers were there asking for refunds. She told the younger one to be quiet. The young lady came back with her boyfriend and he asked for a refund but was asked to leave. Another young lady came back asking for a refund too but was hushed also. When I looked up she was out the door. Lynn is overly persistent with the more expensive spas and nail techniques. I agreed to get my eyebrows (I thought threaded) and ended up with something that costs $25. Then she goes on to say "Thank you for trusting me with your beauty needs". We as the people in that community have to stop patronizing these types of businesses. There is no them without us...If you read the reviews all of the complaints are about her and GREED ! I will NEVER go back there. Yesterday when she asked if I liked the service, I said yes it was because Tommy had just done an outstanding job on my feet and nails..
