Upon entering the place is nice, clean, and serene..the young man who did my pedicure was great..he took his time and didn't rush..of course I got the almond milk honey pedicure which was great.. However, the young lady who did my nails, was not so good..she could not get the length correct so I went with a shorter version, then the gel that she applied was too thick..also the rhinestone that I had put on was fine on the right hand but the left hand she had to redo and the thumb and pinky was still crooked.. Where should I start? The customer service is terrible. I tried to give multiple times to this shop to "get it right," but they failed me each time. I'm relatively new to the area and decided to give this place a try on a Monday evening. Came in, not the most friendly vibe/greeting but they got started on my pedicure immediately, and it was good. They have a huge selection of polishes, so that's certainly a plus. Here's the downside--I got a full set and was not happy with the outcome at all. There were gaps in where the acrylic didn't cover which I had to point out, the shaping was horrible, as was the craftsmanship of the nails overall. When I sat down, I showed him the shape I wanted but it looks like my elementary school aged cousin shaped them. Smh. Nevertheless, I doubt I'll give it another go. On yesterday I went to the salon for pedicure, manicure, and face wax. I was given a young man, a novice for the pedicure. He had no clue how to give a pedicure. A couple of his co-workers had even told him to do differently. (they demonstrated) After 15-20 minutes I was so frustrated and displeased I told him to stop. Tyler offered to polish my toes. I refused because none of the prelimary procedures had been accomplished, including removing the previous polish completely. The other services were fine. I did not expect to have to pay for a pedicure (I did not get), yet I was. I did question it and received no response. I'm not sure what's so hard about an even coat of polish, symmetrical nail shape and removing ALL the dead skin and cuticle. There was nobody waiting so I'm not sure why my tech rushed through my mani-pedi. However, the tech that did my boyfriends mani-pedi did a good job and took her time. I have given this place several tries to impress me. And today was the last straw. I went in today at 5:20pm and the guy said it was OVER AND HOUR wait!!! Ain't no way I'm gonna be able to do that. It was about 6-7 people waiting and 5 people working!!! The first time I went my polish chipped literally 2 days later. Second time, I waited about 45 minutes then they called a lady who just walked in the door to get a pedicure before me, even after he told me to sign in, and he did not check the clipboard. Nail spa is kinda popular to they get busy fast. I have never trusted the sanitary habits of any salon so, I bring my own "works" (lol), they have always been accommodating, not only do they rec new tools, but also clean mine. Then my boyfriend asked for a regular manicure and she told him it was going to be $12. At the end she told him it was going to be $36 because she did no chip even though he didn't ask for that. This use to be a really great spot to get your nails done. This place use to be clean, swift, and produce great work. This is definitely not the case anymore. I believe they are under new management and now their work is sloppy, no longer offer incentives to customers like water and punch card for discounted services. My nails were crooked and my wait time was doubled because of all the times services had to be performed multiple times because of poor performance. Tried this place again 2 years later for a quick polish change since I live within walking distance to the shop. 2845 W 95th street, Evergreen Park........This was my favorite shop to go to back in the day, but not now. Ladies I went for a pedicure with my daughter. They started the water for us both and while I waited for my person the jets for the water turned off for me. I looked down and saw particles floating around in the bowl. I immediately removed my feet and asked for the bowl to be cleaned and a new plastic liner to be added. It took 5 minutes for me to get the person to understand what the complaint was. He kept trying to just change the liner, I demanded the bowl be cleaned also. I let it go until i observed that the next clients that sat in our chairs were seated. We then observed that the bowls weren't rinsed out nor the liners changed from out pedicures. It seems that we are not guaranteed sterilization. This is the last time I will go here. This is probably my new favorite nail salon. It is absolutely beautiful inside with everything updated and very spacious. They are friendly and ask you questions which is very nice. I got an acrylic fill in and the guy did them extremely fast, I was impressed. He did tell me I was good to go after drying them for about 15 mins and after I left and got home I ended up smudging one of them. It's not very noticeable, but I can notice it which is annoying for my OCD! Besides that, I will definitely be coming here more often. read more

Also, at times unprofessional, one lady as I sat down waiting for her to start she had to make two phone calls with headphones in and as she grabs my hand to look at them with a file in her hand im thinkin okay were starting, but i was wrong she starts filing her own finger! I sit down and the young guy that was going to do my nails kept getting up because he wasn't prepared with all the stuff he needed. He had my nails soaking in acetone for 10min. He began filing my nails and right away I knew he didn't know what he was doing, I was tempted to walk out but I was already 25min in. He didn't even cut my cuticles completely. HE OPENED UP THE CUTICLE CUTTER FROM A POUCH THAT WAS NOT STERILIZED ! Big red flag. If i get any infection or MRSA, best believe they're going to pay for it. He kept using his long thumb nail to clean off around my nails and under which is pretty nasty. When he finally began to do my no chip, I had to keep pointing out lint , air bubbles or just how it wouldn't look right or neat and he kept huffing and puffing about it. He was literally PAINTING OVER any little lint he seen on my nail instead of taking it off. I was already frustrated and couldn't believe I was about to pay $33 for these nails. It took him AN HOUR AND TEN MIN to finish my nails. It should not take that long to get a simple no chip manicure! I didn't even let him massage my hands/arms like they do in the end. I just had to leave already. He took that long just for my nails to look like a kid did them. Ridiculous. I felt as if I was his guinea pig. I will not be coming back, lesson learned!!! read more

I tried this place due to it's proximity and was very pleased. Good selection of OPI polishes which I prefer. I got their regular manicure and pedicure which I thought was a great deal at $32. It did not include any of the extras, like scrubs or massages, that some places include, but since I'm not crazy about those anyway that was fine with me. They have pedicure chairs which are set in a circle which is nice because it feels a bit more private. The only nitpicky thing I have to say is that although they accept credit cards, you can't use it for a tip. Nice place. I'll be back! read more

Here's the downside, after waiting 30 minutes just be seated at the pedicure station to wait another 20 for someone to help me, I told the lady I wanted a regular on my feet and a no-chip on my nails. Then later asked if I want a no chip on my feet, I told her no but she kept pushing for me to get one. I later asked to change my nail option from no-chip to powder. I asked how much powder was and she said she would tell me when we got to the nail station as if it was too hard to tell me in that moment even though she had the pricing paper right next to her. Then, we got to the nail station and I asked again and she said one moment then glued to fake nails on then told me the price so I couldn't go back and tell her no. After up selling everything to me I ended up spending over $110 just for feet and nails. Overall, the place is nice but they try to up sell you and try to force you to get more expensive options.
